[Resolved]  Snapdeal — Product not as per specifications, defects in the product

The iBall Slide 6351 Q40i delivered to me has following issues:

1. I ordered this product as it had HD screen as mentioned on the ad. Even the product box specifies the same. However, the tablet delivered to me has very poor display screen resolution/quality. It causes strain to eyes after using it for sometime. It is not HD.

2. Wifi connectivity is poor. I have to literally go near the wifi router to have wifi network on the tablet.

3. Backside of the tablet keeps on getting hot after about 10-15 mins o[censored]sage. It can be dangerous after prolonged usage. If the battery/processor blasts due to excessive heat, who will be responsible for health hazard?

I have raised return request through app as I am not satisfied with the product (due to above-mentioned points) and I am not going to use it. I have not received the refund money till date.

Basically, I had purchased it for my 5 yrs old daughter for gifting her on her b'day. I cannot give her this tablet to use as it will strain her eyes and can be dangerous for her.

I got a call from Snapdeal Customer Care Executive Mr. Himanshu on Mon, 7th Mar'16 at 16:30 hrs stating that the tablet iBall Slide 6351 Q40i doesn't have HD display. He says that HD screen at the purchased cost is not possible. HD screen tablets are costly. I told him that I have purchased this product because ad mentioned as HD screen, else i would have not bought it. Moreover, product box also states HD. Also, check this product link: http://www.iball.co.in/Product/6351-Q40i/904. It clearly states HD.

As per Himanshu, if the product doesnt't have HD screen and ad/box mentions it, that means I have been cheated.

I request Snapdeal to immediately process the return request. I need the refund at the earliest.

I have attached image snapshot of Snapdeal app iBall slide 6351 Q40i product description wherein it clearly states that product has HD screen.
