[Resolved] Snapdeal.com — ivoomi phone purchased and faulty touch screen found in first hour after use | |||||
Eference: ivoomi phone purchase order i'd [protected] I purchased ivoomi phone online from snapdeal. Then as touch screen was not working i informed th company which directed me to have it checked at their assigned service centre. The service centre then approved return of the product and told me to contact snapdeal and not open the sealed box. So i returned it in same sealed state to the pickup I received a call from someone at snapdeal who said that the usb and head phone is missing. I will like to categorically state that i had given the box to the service centre info provided by you. I had given all the contents i had received along with the packing to the service centre and he also verified that all content s were inside the box. When the service centre returned the product after approval for replacement he told me to not open the box sealed by the approval personnel as he said the company may not agree to the replacement if i did so. So i did not open the box and handed over the same to the courier man who had come to pick up the return. It is entirely the responsibility of those assigned by you to pick up and snapdeal to check the contents before they accept the return of product. There is a lapse in this regard on your part. I also confirmed with the service centre (Mr qurban [protected] bhiwandi) who agreed that he had verified the contents while accepting it for check and while returning with approval letter he had asked me not to open the sealed box. So it is clear from this that if there were any missing parts he would have refused to accept. So it is now entirely your fault that you did not ask the pick up man to verify all parts / accessories are in the sealed box. I have been purchasing things since ebay was launched and i have never faced any such problem. So do u want to say that for two accessories worth 200- 300 i would try to cheat. Anyway i have presented my case with utmost factuality and honesty. You do not allow us to check and receive. Then your pick up man, as per service centre employee's statement also cannot open the box sealed by service centre. So all your replacement policies are heavily loaded in your favour. I[censored] insist i take it i will but will not open the sealed box until i get a decision from the consumer or other appropriate court. Now it is really shocking that they want to send the product back to me without rectifying the problem I hope you will look into the matter and solve the issue or else i will accept the returned phone and keep it in same sealed state and file a complaint with appropriate authorities Sanjay kalgaonkar Was this information helpful? | |||||
