[Resolved]  SOTC Tours — cancellation amount not refunded

1. I paid insurance for each Tour advance, lest in cancellation, full amount will be refunded 2. There might be admin delays, but after one month of no response, I escalated to level 1, as per the company guidelines. 3. I posted the details here. 4. I phone called and recorded my grievance on consumer affairs https://consumeraffairs.nic.in/ They sent a case number to the company and to me for tracking the status. If the case is not resolved in 10 days, I can the officially record my complaint and send legal notice. After one day, their senior manager, intervened and resolved within a week. 5. Parallel, I asked some of my relatives working in central ministries to help. They were trying to contact their acquaintance in IT(Tax) Commission office the same. I told them not necessary. Dont know which was helpful. Or it was coincident with company's regular processing time.
