I'm now travelling from Durgapur City Centre to Esplanade by an SBSTC Bus bearing No. WB39B1671 which is carrying 100% passengers, even some standing passengers.
I think it is completely violating the Covid 19 protocol that suggests to carry not more than 50% passengers.

As we know that new bus depot has been set up kalipahari but still the sbstc operated from Asansol bus stand can I know why ? New bus depot has been set up at kalipahari than all bus services should be started from kalipahari depot.

I booked one ticket in SBSTC on 03/07/2021 for journey on 04/07/3021 from Karunamoyee to Durgapur. The ticket was booked online through your SBSTC app and the time was 8.30 a.m.from Korunamoyee and was supposed to come in my boarding location, Airport bus-stand, at about 9.00 a.m.
But at 9.00 a.m., bus which was scheduled at 8.00 a.m. from Korunamoyee had arrived. The bus conductor told me that, bus against 8.30 a.m. has been cancelled.
He also told me that, as the ticket was booked online, fresh ticket has to be issued only against cash, if I'm willing to travel.
Hence I was compelled to opt that one, and reached to my destination.
Now, my query is, how I can get refund the amount against the online booking, as there was no information in the app regarding cancellation of the said bus against which the ticket was booked.

visible has been initiated

Dear concern,
It has been noticed that in online booking there are one seat in two seater and two seats in 3 seater. But during journey I am very much surprised that conductor alow extra person in 2 as well as 3 seat in the bus. I am on the bus(3576) right at this moment 2.10pm from Burdwan to Karunamoyee. Please look after the matter.

Today morning I saw a sbstc bus crossing AMC more at 12:30 p.m. it crossed at a very high speed blowing continuous horn. Overspeeding in a city, that too in an extremely crowded area is very dangerous. It can cause any unfortunate moment for anyone. So request all sbstc drivers not to overspeed buses specially in city area because every life matters and every life is Important for their loved ones.

Yesterday (26/07/2021) BURDWAN- KARUNAMOYEE Bus of 4:10 pm. Bus Number WB - 39B 2264.
BUS staffs ( mainly one aged person wearing PINK colour UNIRORM) had allowed without ticket passenger and they along with bus staff continued to create pressure to allow to sit on vacant seat with body contact VIOLATING COVID-19 PROTOCOL. Extra passengers along with bus staffs shouted on me and other passengers and created big Chaos.
THESE ARE DANGEROUS TENDENCY.
SBSTC AUTHORITY MUST LOOK AFTER THE MATTER WITH A SERIOUS CONCERN.

I am a simple common man belong from a middle class family lives in amta, howrah.I am working on Rashmi metalic company at Kharagpur.Now local train is not available from bagnan to kharagpur.so I depends on automobile transport.But a very small number of WB bus ability on this road(like Jhargram and medinipur from Kolkata saraunding alaka).Also a very big problem that Morning time the buses not stop at bagnan to carry passenger to go destination like medinipur and Jhargram.

So please help me and more passenger like me who belongs from a middle class family.If we are suiside on road.

I tried booking online ticket from Durgapur to Karunamoyee on 17th July, 2021 at around 12:07 pm for 18th July (Sunday). My money got debited from ICICI account but not ticket was generated neither any seat got booked for 4/4:20 pm (18th July, sunday) bus. I reconfirmed it at the durgapur sbstc bus stand about my booking, they said no booking has been made against my name or number. It has been now 8 days, i didn't get my rupees 155.
Reading the prior complaints made by so many people makes me feel afraid that may be SBSTC will steal my money too. I repeatedly tried to call the customer care but as usual no one picks up. I mailed then but as usual no one pays a heed.

When I was trying to book ticket in SBSTC on 13th aug 2022 around 8.28 pm my money get deducted but ticket not booked from Asansol to Durgapur City center.I used Indusind bank debit card ending with 3299 for this transaction and 155 rs deducted.Please refund my money as ticket is not booked.I have attached screenshot for this transaction.My name is Debraj Roy.

Now I am travelling from Durgapur City Centre to Esplanade by SBSTC bus # WB39B 2064. The bus started its journey from Durgapur at 11.00 am. with 50% passenger. But on the way it took local passengers and they occupied the vacant seats. I complained to the conductor regarding this, but he didn't pay heed to my complaint. Rather he inspired the persons to be seated.

Dear Sir

this is to bring to your kind notice that i regularly travel from karunamayee to burdwan (7:45am) and vice versa (4:10pm).

the conductor regularly takes more than designated 50% passengers, inspite telling conductors not to take, they never listen. Also everyday 3 to 4 sbstc staff, baring conductor and driver from dunlop, travel via this bus and occupy and travel.

they say that rules not applicable for sbstc employess.

kindly look into the matter as this has become a regular nuisance

I Bishal Barnwal booked two tickets ( seat no 13 and 15) of sbstc bus durgapur to Esplanade timing 12:40 pm.
This bus driver and contractor picked up so many local passenger and disturbing us for seat. When we are not allowed for sit besides us then he took extra money (140rs). Extra charge ticket no is BG[protected]
So I request you kindly Short out this situation...

I am traveling(date : 25.07.21) from dharmatala to midnapore by bus no WB39B6706. (11:20 AM). More than 30% passengers not using the mask properly and more than 20% not using mask at all. Bus conductor allows them to sit in the bus.
Kindly look into the matter for public interest. Properly train the conductor also.

This complaint is regarding violation of Covid 19 guidelines issued by West Bengal government in bus WB39A1350 Karunamoyee - Bankura - via - Durgapur 5:40 on 21/07/2021. The conductor is allowing passengers without ticket and mask. Though it is clearly mentioned that the bus service should operate with 50% capacity the conductor is taking passengers more than allowed numbers and directing them to sit in the seats which are kept for social distancing by the government. The bus is so overcrowded that people can be seen standing also. The conductor himself is not wearing mask properly. I am used to travel in SBSTC from a very long time and cannot expect this kind of violation. I am attaching few photos also. Kindly look into the matter and take necessary steps so that we can avoid falling sick.

I am travelling from Kolkata Esplaned to Bankura date-16/07/2021 in bus no. WB 39B 3881, bus time-12:00pm. Here the bus driver and conductor are allowing passengers more than 50percent. According to government notice no passengers are allowed to seat in the middle seat of 3seaters but here for extra money benefits of the bus driver and conductor they are allowing people to be seated on the middle seats without tickets and by taking money privately.
I would like the authority and government to take strict and promt action regarding this serious issues. Cause i believe not maintaining social distancing in this covid situation is harmful for everyone.
