I booked online 4 seats ( 6, 7, 11, 12 ) of Asansol to Kolkata 4:30 p.m SBSTC Bus boarding from Durgapur at 5:40 p.m. Even though I reserved all the seats, Seat No.7 was not accessable to me. Upon finding this problem, I contacted the Enquiry ( [protected] ), but he did not pay heed to me. It is requested that an immediate action must be taken.

    On 7/2/2021, when I reached Airport gate no. 1 to board a bus of Asansol-Karunamoyee scheduled to departure Karunamoyee at 7-40 am, to come to Durgapur, I came to know that bus along with a few other buses had been cancelled. I had a reserved seat in that bus (Seat no. 24, Ticket No: L[protected]). I had to book a fresh ticket to board another SBSTC AC bus going to Bankura. I have not received the refund of the ticket (Rs. 145) of the cancelled bus yet. Please refund it as early as possible. SBI A/C no. [protected]. Email: [protected]@yahoo.co.in.

      It is to bring to the kind notice of authorities that it is experienced during travelling from Purulia to Asansol and Asansol to Purulia, the driver and conductor of buses used to get overloading of passengers on the way as soon as the bus leave the bus stop. seats are being allotted to passengers in the bus stops/depots, further, the conductor allow illegal passengers in the bus without ticket and this way conductors over load the bus which causes the legal passengers faces problems during travelling, if it is suggested them not to do this, they speak very rudely and says if you are facing difficulties to travel you may get out of the bus. Some times they abuse to passengers and try to show muscle power. Though they are local persons and having influence in their area, passengers get afraid and keep silence, rather having no option left. further during checking out of the bus, the legal passengers are faced difficulties, face the push, abuse and quarrel of the standing passengers. when it is enquired the standing passenger even don't have tickets as they had not been issued tickets after taking money by the conductor, this means the conductors used to keep the money, which is a huge corruption.

      Therefore, it is requested to look into the matter seriously to avoid such nuisance and further complications in future.

          I booked 2 seat at 9th march to going bankura at 10th march.. that bus is Karunamoyee bankura ac 3.15 pm .. they take 2 times my money for same seat also ..They didn't stop in baguiati stoppage. And refused that also.. they didn't refund me also didn't arranged me 2 seat

            Whom so ever it may concern, This is to bring to your notice that i was travelling from burdwan on sunday 15th of march 2021 my destination was santragachi. I (age 48 Gen:female)boarded from burdwan of bus no.WB39B6795 seat no.17 total fare taken Rs.85 departure time 10:00 am. Suddenly conductor & driver denied going to the destination and asked to get down from the bus. They forced me and all co passengers to get down at the middle of the road. Conductor & driver misbehaved also denied for refund. This is how i was harrassed. Very unsatisfied with the service. Request to take actions against this case because of some hilarious people the whole body gets a bad name. Hope authority will take severe action on this and make sure this does not happen with any other passenger in future.

              My complain against SBSTC bus conductor & agent against.. the bus asansol to purulia & it's time is 6:40am.. the conductor doesn't give seats.. he said he doesn't give seats asansol to Anara & raghunathpur passengers.. Even all seats are not booking he doesn't give me seats.. he said he only give seats from asansol to purulia passenger.. Now can u tell me how safe we women in bus ??

                With due respect I want to tell you that I am Saikat Acharjee from Durgapur No- [protected].Today I booked a ticket from Karunamoyee to Durgapur at 4.15pm in A/C.After that I arrived at the stand in scheduled time.After the scheduled the bus was not coming and re check the ticket the it is shown that the bus was cancelled.
                please tell me why the bus cancelled without any intimation??No call no messages were received for the cause.I want the answer.
                I want the money refund.

                Please look into the matter and do the needful for the refund process as soon as possible.Tickets attached herewith for your reference.

                  I had booked a ticket for RS 190.00 on 28th February, 2021 for a journey of A/C bus from Midnapore to Garia reserved upto Esplanade through your sbstc app. But the said bus service was not available. I had failed to cancelled as per your cancellation policy. The booked money is not refunded yet. My question is that why your app is booking the ticket though the said bus service has not been available since long. This is nothing but public harrassment.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I am a regular passenger from Durgapur to Burdwan. I use to travel by last Karunamoyee bound bus which use to depart from Durgapur city centre by 1750Hrs.
                    Yesterday ( 28.02.2021 ) I got into the bus and managed to stand near the seat opposite to the door. there were five more passengers were standing by the side of me and the bus got fully reserved. all of sudden the conductor tapped me on my back and with much harsh voice he instructed me to get to middle of the bus. I opposed him. I tried to convince him to talk or behave properly. but in vain. I watched that he was behaving with same fashion with other passengers also. He was unnecessarily engaged in argument. He even was telling that he should not have allowed me to board as the bus was full, but he has allowed five passengers already to board in that situation.
                    This type of behaviour of the conductor will fetch the bad name for such a prestigious service like SBSTC.

                      I have booked a ticket from Medinipur to Karunomoyee on 27.02.2021 for my journey on 28.02.2021.I booked seat no. 29 in the bus (departure time from media 6:30 am). An amount of Rs. 118.00 has been deducted from my bank account but ticket has not been generated. Please look up to this matter and please inform from where I can get the ticket as soon possible. Proof of my deducted money attached with the mail.

                        Dear Sir,
                        My self Amit Maity, yesterday night I booked two tickets through SBSTC app by online korunamoee to Debra the timing was 7am (karunamoee to salboni).
                        When I came to bus stand today morning around 6:30 am from the ticket counter I get to know that the karumoee to salboni bust of 7:00 am not available.
                        It's simply a harrassment for us. If the bust is not available then why online SBSTC app keep showing that bus and also take booking from online.
                        I paid 200 rupees by online transaction to booke 2 tickets.
                        Kindly refund my booking money back and take some actions against this public harrassment.
                        I am attaching the payment receipt and Bus ticket confirmation for your reference.

                          Sub: Complaint against whimsical operation of long-distance SBSTC Express bus-service.
                          Ref: E-ticket No. P[protected] for Journey from Bankura to Kolkata (Esplanade) on 23.20.2021
                          Sir,
                          I booked the above noted E-ticket for undertaking a journey from Bankura to Kolkata (Esplanade) by the Bagmundi – Kolkata- 05.00. My journey date was 23.02.2021 at .09.15 AM departure time from Bankura. My booked seat No. was 26.
                          Accordingly, I reported at SBSTC Bankura Depot. At 09.00 AM sharp on 23.02.2021 and enquired of the arrival of the said bus from the Security manning the Depot gate as well as the traffic in charge sitting in front of the Depot office (to verify the truthfulness of this submission a local enquiry may please be made at the Bankura Depot). To my utter astonishment, I was informed by them that the said Bagmundi-Kolkata bus do not ply through Bankura Depot but passes straight through Chattna – Bankura road via Katjuridanga (although sometimes back I myself availed the said bus from the Bankura Depot itself). Finding no alternative and being completely helpless I ran with by luggage towards Katjuridanga-more and quickly taking an auto rickshaw reached Katjuridanga more at 09.10 AM sharp. But as misfortune would have it, while alighting from the auto rickshaw I saw the Bagmundi-Kolkata bus passing away even before time of the scheduled departure at 09.15 AM. Consequently, I missed the bus for no fault of mine and even after reporting well before the scheduled departure time. Finding no other alternative I again took an auto-rickshaw and came back to the Bankura Depot of SBSTC, purchase fresh ticket for Durgapur by Bankura-Karunamoyee 10.45 bus and then again purchased ticket from Durgapur to go to Kolkata (Esplanade) by making a break journey. Scanned copies of the said tickets are enclosed for your perusal.
                          Under the circumstances, I wish to bring to your kind notice the following irregularities/issues for initiating corrective measures, as a service provider, for the sake of ensuring passenger’s amenities as well as for justice and fair play:
                          i. As per online information of E-ticket booking system of SBSTC the departure place of the said bus was shown as “Bankura”. As per the prevalent system of E-ticket bookings the term “Bankura” means SBSTC Bankura Depot and every other long distance express bus ensues their onward journey from Bankura Depot itself. Thus, there was no occasion for the said Bagmundi-Kolkata bus not to report at the scheduled place of departure at Bankura Depot.
                          ii. That even if for arguments sake it is presumed that due to exigencies of road conditions there is a need to re-route a scheduled journey then why such updates were not communicated to E-ticket holders well in advance whose contact Nos are duly available with the E-ticketing data-base?
                          iii. So far as the information I gathered from the Bankura Depot on 23.02.2021 it appears that there was no official decision for re-routing the journey schedule of the said Bagmundi-Kolkata bus on that day. In that event, is it free for the driver and conductor of a long-distance express bus not to cover a scheduled place of departure and also to leave a nearby bus stop even before the scheduled time of departure?

                          Without prejudice to my rights and contentions before an appropriate Consumer Court with regard to my grievances against the aforesaid incident of non-providing of due service against an agreed contract and the consequent loss and injury suffered, I request you to kindly grant me the following remedies for sake of natural justice:

                          1. To Refund the amount paid against the E-ticket No. P[protected] dated 20.02.2021 t of Rs 180.00 to my bank account, as noted below, through NEFT:

                          2. To kindly send me a letter of regret on behalf of the SBSTC and/or the Conductor and Driver of the said bus for their carelessness and regard for passenger’s rights and amenities.

                          3. To ensure that in future long distance SBSTC Express buses should invariably report at their scheduled place of Departure and in the event of any re-routing of the scheduled journey confirmed E-ticket holders are informed well in advance.

                          I have faith in the good conscience of a Govt. Enterprise like the SBSTC and decide to wait for a fortnight from today to come to a conclusion whether my grievances have been redressed or not as proposed hereinbefore.

                            Respected sir,

                            I am travelling from mecheda to contai today morning near at 7:15 am on 21.02.2021. I collect my ticket properly. But from Nandakumar I watching that the bus conductor collect the fair but not given ticket to the maximum passengers. Then I protest it.

                            Then he replied that are you got the ticket? Then you can leave. Why you are bothering to other passengers. Then I told that I should complain your respected authority to the scenario. He replied that it is not important matter for me, you could do anything that you want, I don't care about it.

                            Therefore, I request you please take necessary steps about your conductor & check cc camera footage, also ticket machine's log.

                              Hello, my self sibsankar barman travelled from jhargram to rashbihari more kolkata today i.e on 20/02/2021.i boarded at 3:30 pm from jhargram on a sbstc bus(jhargram to kudghat via esplanade).As soon as i boarded on that bus i have been asked to give fare which was 129 rupees and i collected ticket after giving that money.after reaching esplande conductor demanding more money from me as a fare but he didn't want to give receipt /ticket for that. when i refused to give that money without receipts he forced me to getdown from the bus in midway.There were few passengers also in the bus and they also didn't get any receipts against their money.

                                Bus was cancelled on 8/02/2021 without prior notice

                                I had booked a seat on the 6.30am bus from Karunamoyee to Burdwan for 8/02/2021. I waited for 1.5 hours, not even the next two-three scheduled buses came. The bus was cancelled without prior intimation. I was not refunded the amount. Please refund my cancelled ticket. I have attached a screenshot of my ticket booked via sbstc app....

                                I had booked a ticket from Karunamoyee to Salboni and after I reached in Karunamoyee bus terminal I found that the bus has been cancelled without any notification. My money has also not been refunded.

                                When I inquired about the same at Karunamoyee's SBSTC ticket counter they said that the bus for this route has been cancelled long time back. I don't know why online booking is available when the said route already cancelled. For this reason I faced so many problems and troubles. I want my deducted full amount money back as soon as possible. Attached are the all relevant documents.

                                  Yesterday I was going to an online seat booking from karunamoyee to Asansol but The seat booking is not confirmed but the amount has been deducted after that I did not get a refund for that amount.

                                    I had booked a ticket from Karunamoyee to Asansol and after I reached in Karunamoyee I found that the bus has been cancelled without any notification. My money has also not been refunded.

                                    The ticket counter person in Karunamoyee made me book ticket for the earlier bus at 6.15 am whose ticket I have attached along with the 6.25 am bus. SBSTC is looting like this from people. Corrupted bus service in West Bengal unfortunately. I want my money back from West Bengal Government's corrupted bus service.
