South Bengal State Transport Corporation [SBSTC] Complaints & Reviews

I had booked ticket Ticket No-L[protected], for 15-Jan-23, 2:15pm from Karunamayee to Asansol. But on calling at the last hour for the status of my booking and I found that the bus is cancelled and I had no prior information about the same. This is really a very disappointing action of negligence from a such a responsible service provider. I have not received refund yet. After that i raised a docket also, but there is no response from it. Please look into the matter.

I a REGULAR passenger of of the SBSTC, During the travell On dated 19.01.2023 from BANKUTA to city centre bus no WB39B2065 (BAGHMUNDI TO DHARMATALA)
On the above said date the driver and conductor of the bus intentionally stop the bus in unauthorised stoppages. And disrupted the smooth service of SBSTC, for their personal gains. Even if the conductor fails to show the fair list from those unauthorized stop to destination. And collect the money from the passengers without giving them tickets.
It is my humble request to the authority to stop this kind of situation further by taking necessary steps.

Am Sauravmay Hazra, i book a ticket karunamoyee to Digha bus on 18/1/2023. My Whole family members travel that's why we Bound to carry out our very small pet . But Bus conductor Mr Amit Sharma not allowed to travel with pet . He said as per instruction by sbstc and this guidelines mentioned on Sbstc website also. But I am unable to see any information about carrying pet. I am traveling with my parents ( age 76 and 73) and child ( age 9) ....

I am apurba mandal. I booked a ticket for two person from kolkata to arambagh via SBSTC APP... but they did not provide me the bus due to breakdown that bus... and they also denied for tefund. pnr is P[protected]. They also behaved with me very rudely when i was demanding the bus against my ticket . I have a vedio also where one person of them behave like "goon".

Tried to book ticket on 12.01.2023 from karunamoyee to Durgapur for journey date on 13.01.2023. Money deducted from bank account of State bank during online payment but ticket not generated due to some error. This was happened from sbstc user account.
I again tried booking of the same and second time again it was unsuccessful. So i request you to refund the money for unsuccessful booking immediately

I have a issue regarding seat reservation in SBSTC Buses. Everyday, I face this issue... There is no proper management at all. Seats are being reserved beforehand and there is no such information regarding the reserved seats and about the passengers prior. Yesterday, I went to my coaching institute in Durgapur. I took SBSTC bus from Asansol to Durgapur, I took a seat and when the bus started after 10-15 mins I got to know that the seat has been reserved by one of the passenger. The Conductor didn't told me beforehand and also there was no prior mentioning of the reserved seats. I was standing all the way in the crowded bus, it was so uncomfortable for me to travel in such a crowded bus. I request you to take proper action against it. I will be highly obliged if you take necessary actions against it.

Haldia depot counter charging extra Rs. 5 as service chargeper ticket . They have put up a notice without any SBSTC signature at Depot from 1. 1 2023

Harassment by sbstc driver. While I was travelling in a sbstc bus which was traveling from digha to kalna today. Arrival time at kalna is near about 6pm.

I booked a ticket of BURDWAN TO KARUNAMOYEE AC BUS from RED BUS APP.
The travelling date was 03/01/2023 and time was 3.45 pm.
Although my booking was confirmed but the bus got cancelled without any prior notice although online booking was done.
Refund process is getting delayed unnecessarily.

My old father and mother today 27/12/22 travel bankura to kolkata
BY SBSTC, WHICH START JOURNEY AT 7.05 A.M FROM BANKUA DEPO. they have two prereserved ticket 34, 35.
but now another passergers was sitted. those seat 34, 35 bus contructor not menage.. he misbehave with my senioe cityzen father and mother continiously..
the contructer that two site gave another person by taking money. please give my parents seat.

Bus window broken by bus driver and conductor. Durgapur city centre to Kolkata Esplanade time 6.30am journey date 27.12.2022. Bus conductor behaviour is very bad very rudely talking.

I am Debasish Das, from Behala, Kolkata. Also inform you that I am regular passenger. I book a advance Ticket on[protected] from Behala Sursuna Bus Stop to Bajkul. journey date[protected]. As per confirmation i am waiting for SBSTC Bus at Behala Manton on[protected] from 6:30am onwards, the bus timing of stopage at 6:45am in Manton. Bus conductor confirm me when Bus leave from Bus terminus by phone. At that time i saw a bus came near me (bus no 2578) but when i rise my hand to stop, but the bus was not stop at my stopage. When I call Bus conductor at his mobile No. [protected] to know why the Bus was not stopped then he told me by mistake they were not stop the Bus and inform me to reach Behala Trum Depot near Behala Viddyasagar Hospital as they were waiting for us so with a hurry we reach that place within 5 minuets from Behala Manton to that place, but when I reach we saw there was no Bus waiting for us then I call Bus conductor again then he inform me that was fully responsible to the Bus Driver, he will not stop after his confirmation and then he provide me two numbers to raise a Complain the no is [protected] or 42. When I call that no they suggest to Complain through Online, that is ridiculous & more irresponsible. I want to notify the matter to SBSTC Bus authority to taking the action on the bus driver. And requesting not to do with any other passenger in future like that.

The conductor stop me to get into the bus but he allowed some other people.. Then he constantly pressurized me to get off the bus even he refuse to give me a ticket.. He even said that the ticket inspector will charge me for not having ticket.. He climed that the minimum ticket amount is 20 rupees.. The bus reached medinipur bus stop at 5.40 PM

Today i.e 14/12/2022, I took ticket from Midinipore to Koronamoye. But the Conductor asked that this bus will stopped at Airport. This is harassment to the customer. Please stop all these practice.

I booked a ticket from Esplanade to Durgapur for 14th December which will leave the Esplanade bus terminal at 7:45 am. The amount was debited from my account but my ticket was not confirmed. I could not find the ticket at the SBSTC app and my Gmail I'd. Even my amount was also not refunded.

I booked a ticket from Esplanade to Durgapur for the bus which is departure at 14th Dec on 7:45 Am from Esplanade. The 150rs debited from my account but they didn't confirm my ticket. I could not find my ticket on app and mail.

I would like to lodge a complaint against the bus conductor of bus no. WB 39B 6713 traveling from Asansol to Karunamoyee starting from Asansol at 2:20 pm. My ticket no. is P[protected]. The bus conductor asked me to pay extra 200/- rupees for luggage as I had a bag which was kept behind the driver seat. On refusing to pay the conductor threatened me that he will throw out my luggage out of the bus in the middle of the street and hence forced me to pay 100/- rupees extra. I only had one bag containing clothes and due to lack of space in the upper carrier I had to keep it behind the driver's seat. I also have sufficient evidence proving the bus conductor charging 100/- rupees extra for luggage and I am ready to provide it as per requirement. I would kindly request you to look into the matter seriously and do the needful at the earliest.

Good evening sir am subhro roy a residence of panagarh . Today 12/12/2022 i booked my ticket at 5:25 pm karunamoyee bus from durgapur so i waited at panagrh busstop i saw that the bus cross the stand thats why ran and shout then ta bus stop . Sir my question is whats this if panagarh is a stop then why should they cant stop ? And sir why the bus conductor and the driver behave like that this SBSTC bus is their own property ? Sir am a CIVIL SERVICE aspirant but today i treated as a roadside . Its my kind request kindly resolve this issue as soon as possible and kindly tale neccessary action towards the SBSTC BUS NO -3633 . Thank you hope u understand what i face today !!
