Today is the 2nd time I have come for an advance booking of my ticket to Bakreswar Thermal Power Plant. My trip is scheduled for Monday and I came to book an advance ticket on Saturday and I was sent back after being told that the booking cannot be done sooner than Sunday. Again when I came on Sunday I kept waiting for 30 mins and there was nobody present at Counter 10 (Esplanade) to give me the ticket and I had to go back. This is the sorry state of the service provided by the state government and the reason being the irresponsibility of the employees. Given a secured source of income none of the employees are hardly bothered to complete their task efficiently, salary being a confirmed factor irrespective of the work being done.
