South Indian Bank [Sib] — travel forex card: worst customer support from sbi kattanam branch kerala | |||
To The gm South indian bank Thrissur Kerala Dear sir /madam, I am holder of an sb account with sib kattanam branch. Six months back i have taken a travel card through them. I have been using the travel card while i am abroad and everything went well. However this time i had to travel to a different country, i had use a different currency for the transactions. Therefore i contact the sib kattanam branch and requested for the information to add the particular currency to my card and the staff said they want to check with someone and assured me that they update me on this matter by the end of the day. But no luck came. (Most of the staffs were unaware about the product and its requirements.) Its is very shameful to see a growing bank like sib sells some third party banks travel card and let the customers to suffer for the rest. My account was frozen more than 2 weeks. I have informed through the branch mail id and NRE cell also.
