Dear Sir/Ma’am,

I would like to bring to your attention the issues we are experiencing with the electricity bills related to service No[protected] and[protected].

Service No[protected] connection is provided to Plot No 33 in Mytri Gokulam Society in Abdullapurmet, Hyderabad. Current Meter installed for this service number is 28227610. In the month of August 2017, while there was no change to the physical meter, department records were updated with a new meter 21962577 for this service number which in fact was installed in Plot No 32 (Issue No 2 mentioned below). This was an error from the department and which we were not aware. Early this year when we noted the discrepancy and highlighted to the lineman, meter number was corrected in the department records following which we all of a sudden received a bill of Rs 40, 958/- despite all the given monthly bills are always cleared well on time, this is due to the fact that the bills which we were paying since August 2017 were not accounted under the correct meter/service number. Enclosed latest and previous bill which has different meter numbers and service number history (Evidences 1 and 2).

Service No[protected] connection is provided to Plot No 32 in Mytri Gokulam Society in Abdullapurmet, Hyderabad. Initial meter which was installed for this service number got burnt in July 2017 following which and upon placing a formal request, lineman has installed a new meter with number 21962577. However, in the electricity department records the meter number was updated as 29718896 which was never installed in this plot. Same as issue number 1, the given bills by the lineman were cleared on time but despite that a bill of Rs 29, 333/- was issued to us when the records were corrected by the department early this year after we highlighted. Enclosed latest and previous bill which has different meter numbers and service number history (Evidences 3 and 4).

We contacted the incharge AE and Lineman to understand the details and while they acknowledged it was due to negligence of department personnel when the meter in Plot No 32 was replaced back in August 2017, they said they are new into their positions and there is nothing they can really do about it, instead we continue to hear that we need to clear the latest bills.

Alternatively, incharge AE suggested to get the meter tested which we did by paying the required challan but obviously it is not an issue with the meter, it is due to incorrect meter numbers fed in the department records due to which none of the bills we were paying got accounted for in the system.

It is clearly evident that this issue is due to negligence of the team in the electricity department and it is unfair to penalise the consumer for it despite we have been clearing all the given bills well on time.

Therefore, request your kind review and consideration to waive off these charges as we are being charged for no fault from us.

    Dear Sir,
    Due to the extra growth of the trees in my colony i. e SAPTAGIRI ENCLAVE, BUTTONGUDA, MACHABOLARUM. The electric supply in my house, (House No:2-9-110 /29, KATHURIA HOUSE) is fluctuating frequently. I request the concerned authorities to take an early action to avoid any accident.

      USC:[protected]S.C.B.[protected]. The billing executive has NOT done meter reading before billing for August month. He had directly billed it as 40 units. Then in September, he added the preceding units unbilled in August in the September bill and manipulated the reading to 222 units in September. Thus, he is making the tariff from LTCat-I(B)i slab to LTCat-I(B)ii slab. Please take appropriate action. Kindly also see that the meter reading is done on the same date every month.                 Yesterday, on 12.10.2020 around 16:30, in our apartment, we experienced huge voltage fluctuations, because of which most of the electrical appliances in our apartment like, fans, lights, mixer, inverter, etc... got burnt. After it was a block out. We have given complaint to dept. and they have come and replaced the damaged supporting insulator for one of the phase at the transformer. After that the power was restored. But, now also we are experiencing voltage flickering frequently. We all are worried too much about this. If these voltage flickering/fluctuations are not controlled, then it may damage the electrical appliances as well as the personnel. In view of safety, we kindly request you to depute specialized team to identify the root cause of the problem and resolve at the earliest.

                  Electricity bill USC no:[protected], bill amount 2451/ paid through ICICI NetBanking (2451+ service charge= 2453.77/). Amount deducted, but tsspdcl web site showed Error in transaction. Now the bill amount shows 2451/ in tsspdcl website.
                  I am confused whether payment is done or not??

                    Below mentioned meter has an issue to scan the reading with meter reading machine and the team mentioned as meter status -02.

                          Sir, i live in a rented house in ganesh nagar, ramanthapur, there is a sudden rise in the current month bill (1392) almost double of the previous month (738), we did not get or use any extra electrical appliance in last month, moreover when the bill boy was asked about the sudden rise he said to complaint regarding faulty billing due to meter.
                          We are a family of 3members, we use 3 ceiling fans, led bulb s, one water heater, fridge, tv and washing machine.

                            I have paid July 2020 bill late and it was included as previous arrears in AUgust bill and i overlooked the bill and paid twice.but the amount paid extra was not reflected in September bill. Please look into this and help us update the bill so we can retrive the extra money paid.

                            Whats the status on this as next bill is coming up??
                            We dont know if the payment made twice will reflect or not...please update us ASAP.
                            Whats the use in opening complajnt here when there is no response?? I have received another notification regarding disconnection.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I am a tenant living in an Apartment at Adarsh Nagar, Deepti Sree Nager, in Madeenaguda, Hyderabad – 50. Complete address details are provided at the end for easy reference.
                                Last month i.e., for September 2020, I received shocking electricity bill of Rs. 2322/- consists of 356 units issued by Bill collector. Normally based on monthly consumption, I usually get a bill of Rs. 650/- varying below 150 to 170 units only on an average every month. Please check the earlier bills issued in your records.
                                I came to know from our area lineman that due to meter failure I got an amount of Rs. 2322/- during last month. I do not understand the calculation of this amount as the lineman started saying machine will automatically take the average bill.
                                But I have been paying the amount monthly in the Lockdown period also. But, this is the 2nd time during the lockdown that I got this shocking amount. First for non-issuing of current bills during April, May and June 20 due to Corona, has also been the same and again now due to meter problem again.
                                Lineman said that meter will be replaced by the end of this month (August 2020) since the Error Code displayed on the bill is 02. Refer to the attached bill. There is no need to raise any complaint for this as the meter will be replaced automatically by the team before the end of the September 2020. He also said that the same amount will be repeated in the next month also. Since I have his number, I was reaching him from 26th onwards reminding him to replace.
                                Today it is 1St October 2020. Lineman replied that meters are not available till now in the Miyapur TSSPDCL Office. Due unavailability of meter again I would also get the same amount repeated.
                                Kindly justify is this correct way of charging the customer? If you would have been at my place paying receiving such a huge amount consecutively for a period of 2 to 3 months (i.e., 2300/-) without using the power at all wouldn’t that be painful? I am a normal private employee.
                                Moreover, for your information, we were away from home in the month of August 20 for about 20 days at our relative’s house. This month also ie., September 20 I am not at home since the starting of this month till date. I will be back to Hyderabad this Saturday ie., 3rd October 2020. I do not have any AC’s or geyser or any other major power consuming home appliances at home.
                                So if now the meter is not replaced urgently, then again I would get the same amount next month also ie., for October 2020 as per the words of lineman.
                                If the meter is not available now, when can we expect the meter Sir?
                                NOTE:- I would also humbly request you to charge nominally like in the previous month’s bill instead of charging random units which is 3 times more than our normal consumption. Kindly issue new/correct bill with nominal charges
                                Request you to kindly look into the issue urgently Sir. If the same continuous now, I would not be able to pay the amount Sir which is really a burden for me as a normal customer.

                                    Respected sir/madam

                                    I got a very high electricity bill of 10, 462rs during the lockdown period as i got three months bill together. The meter reader came after three months and he added all three months units consumed for the month of may and for march and april he added a random 1284rs on his own and 1031 units which were consumed in three months he added in may bill which is very unjust though our honourable cm has asked us to pay electricity bills based on previous years. Please do some justice with us and adjust our electricity bill. We can't afford to pay that much as our only source of income is rents which we are not getting. Now they are also warning to disconnected electricity if bill is unpaid. We have always been paying the bills on time. Please make the adjustment. Waiting for a quick and just response.

                                      I have applied for the 3 new current meters 45days ago till now not fixing the current meter but have received a msg to my phone regarding current meters were fixed how can you send like this with out fixing the current meters. And when calling to line man he was asking for bribe I said no then he denied and telling stories day by day and extend till today. It became a 45days sir but I got the message from tsspdcl regarding for fixing of meters within 1st week itself. It's is isnapur electricity substation.
                                      And I have call recordings of lineman asking me for bribe and every day conversation o[censored]s

                                      Please do the needful as soon as possible.
