    Hi Team,

    We have received bill which amounts Rs. 1180 & in the bill it mentioned that it calculated the bill for 120days.But we are paying the bill every month online(through Phonepe). Last time I paid the bill on 11-May-2020 & now the bill was again generated for 120 days that means its generated for last 4 months. I have attached the already paid screenshots. Also I have attached the newly generated bill. Kindly help us in this issue.

      category change non domestic to domestic

      I have submitted a request to change category with tsspdcl through online on 02-may-2020 registration number is cc[protected]. I received confirmation sms to my mobile and they stated that issue will be resolved within 10 days. On 13-may-2020 the status was changed to complaint rectified in csc (Pending at ero). I thought that maybe within 2 -4 working days the status might be changed

      However still category not changed and...

      We have been receiving inflated bills since the last two months. Earlier we used to consume around 150 units and the the bill amount was around rs.1500 but the bill that has come this month is for more than 2500 units and the amount over rs.10, 000. (Find attached the two bills)

      This ten fold increase in consumption o[censored]nits is unreasonably high and not acceptable owing to the fact that we know our consumption levels.

      If you are claiming that you have increased the slabs, be considerable enough to at least release a lucid document stating the exact slabs. However, even if the slabs have been changed this 7 fold increase in bill amount is not acceptable. Even in last month this increase was 6 fold.

        Hi,

        I am surprised to look at my june/2020 electricity bill. I have received 5 times excess bill than average monthly bill. I have received bill of rs.2341.0.
        My average bill for the last 12 months is rs.500 and the electricity consumption is not high when compared to previous months.

        For the similar electricity consumption, why i have received 5 times excess bill for june/2020?

            This is in concern with continued power fluctuations and no electricity issues faced in golde habitat, whitefields, kondapur.
            The complaints have been raised many times but no work has been done till now.
            The transformer in front of our house sparks regularly and produces odd current sounds which appears to be dangerous.
            I request you to take this up as quickly as possible.

                My unique service number is[protected]. If you will check the records, i usually pay a bill of rs. 650 per month on an average. But my bill for the month of may has shot up by thousands. The bill sent to me was above rs. 5000, which is absolutely absurd. No additional appliance has been used in my apartment, even during the summer months. I do not even have many appliances installed in my house. I fail to understand how i could possibly receive a bill that high. Kindly review my bill, and send in the correct amount. I hope you understand that salaried individuals do not have the capacity to answer such whimsical calls. Thank you.

                    Hi team,

                    This is regarding the huge power bill generated for june month 2020. I was shocked to see the power bill consists of 624 units with bill amount of ₹.4703. This is the third time i am addressing the same issue. Earlier we faced the same issue twice with power bill but it was resolved. Now the issue is repeated even after the meter change. I have paid my previous month's bills on time don't know why this heavy bill has generated again. I want the concerned ae or line man to check this issue and should let us know the reason for this bill. As a consumer i very well know that if i have used any appliance (Ac) which caused the power bill i will pay for it but my concern is without using any such appliance how will i be charged such heavy bill. I know as it is summer season but we have used cooler but using that should not give us such heavy bill with 600+ units.

                    Kindly address the issue and try to solve this so that we will never face such again. I have attached my previous bills and payment screenshots for your analysis. Attached my consumption as well as payment history from your website for reference.

                      For the month of june 2020, i have received an electricity bill of rs. 5098 with 960 units as reading from march to till date but we made payment of electricity regularly online.

                      Further every month we used to get avg bill of rs. 450 and the same is the case for the month apr 2020 and march 2020 then how come suddenly it rose to rs. 5098.

                      Even in case of reading are considered they never rose for more than 150 units per month and as per my calculation even for the lockdown period for previous 2 months as per my calculation based on tariff rate i can get a reading of 100 units per month (80.8 units — rs 5 resulting in a bill of rs 404 for may month bill, and 99 units — rs. 5 resulting in a bill of rs 495 for april month bill) which means for 3 months it should be only 300 units but 960 units is drastic change hence i request you to reconsider the unit readings.

                      In case even if previous year (2019) units for the same month are considered it should be 200 units for may and june months individually and in no case, it should be 960 units resulting in a bill of rs 5096 which is 10 times the avg month bill.

                      Request you to kindly check amount and power consumption for usc:[protected] and help us with the correction in the amount.

                        I got electricity bill today for 93 days consumption post covid lockdown and the tariff applied is total units accumulated in last 3 months which is very unfair.
                        Even though i paid monthly bills as assigned to me but still the bill traffic is not divided and higher rate slab is applied leaving me in financial distress adding to lockdown woes and trauma.
                        Please follow fair practice and divide my bill tarrif per month.

                              I request the telangana souther pwer distibution to get the meter check again as we did not consume the electricty this much. I have been living in this house since 4 years and i have never received a high bill.
                              The highest unit consumed uptill now is 600 units.

                                Wrong reading taken and High Electricity Bill

                                I have received my electricity bill (Rs.7914 for 969 units) on June 4th, 2020.
                                My previous reading is 3204 units and present reading how taken for 901 units and total units billed for 969 units and total bill amount is Rs7914. But my meter not showing this 901 units reading on the meter.

                                I think meter not working properly, then how you can take default 969 units on the bill. If the meter is not working,...

                                Hi team, due to covid situation we did not receive hard copy bill for the last two months (Apr and may) but we have verified the bill online and paid for both the months before due date only.

                                Today person from electricity department visited our apartment and generated individual bills for all the flats. Not sure why he has generated the bill from 4th march to 4th june 2020.

                                Due to this wrong calculation the number total units and per unit cost is increased. As per this wrong calculation, total bill amount is rs.4878/- and from that they have deducted the last two months paid amount rs.1094/- and mentioned rs.3784/- as due for this month which is not correct.

                                As we have already paid for last two months, the reading should be taken only for this month but it was calculated for last 3 months (92 days).

                                I request you to look into this matter and rectify and provide us the corrected or updated bill so that we can pay before the due date without fail. Due date is 18th june. So, looking for a quick response on this request. We also request you to make necessary changes in the billing model and generating machines in such cases where people already paid previous months without hard copy.

                                  I have received the electricity bill for rs. 709for the month of april2020& rs 592 for the month of may whereas i don't have a/c or any high voltage consuming appliances and moreover the house remains closed from 8.00 am to 7.30 pm as. I am only living in the room. My previous highest bill is nearly rs 120 only. Highest times paying is rs 60 -90 only. There is definitely something wrong. Please check the last 10 months of my paid bills. I request you to take appropriate action in the above case and avoid such blunders in the future.

                                  As per TSERC orders issued dt: 04/05/20 the provisional bill for LT category I(domestic) for May/2020 month is generated equivalent to the units billed in May/ 2019 billed month. After lifting of lock down the meter reading will be taken and bill will be revised accordingly. Any excess amount will be adjusted to future bills or less will be collected
