I had canceled my journey ticket no [protected] on train No 16863 from Jp to chennai on 28/11/2016 and filed a TDR no 092074 for an Amount of Rs 8835/- along with my bank details for making the refund directly in my account through electronic gateway. But regret that till date even after 3 months the refund has not been made to my account.
On my visit to the southern railway office, I have been informed that it will be made shortly to my account.
kindly help in resolving this issue.

    Sir I am a daily passenger in MRTS velachery to beach. Used to park my two wheeler have faced problem of theft my vehicle parts. Due to not sanction of parking contract more than 2 months. But here is only two stuff is available for tickets Reservation, here 7 counters is available but two counters are working, lots of people's are waiting hours of time to reserve the ticket...         Hi,

        As we all know that the MRTS runs till Velachery and the stretch via Puzhuthivakkam will take at-least one more year to be operating. Now the problem in Velachery Railway station is that the pedestrians need to cross the railway tracks (in which no trains will be running at-least for a year). There are no one who uses the pedestrian over-bridge built which is not having operational lift/escalator and it is not in the right place, that it is not a shortest/easiest path.

        More over recently they build a small wall towards Medavakkam (To the West of station) which people are jumping and using it. Many including women, old aged people, students are using this and it is more dangerous.

        So I request Southern Railway to demolish that small (3 feet) wall built.

          Respected sir u have started train from Tiruchchirapalli to sriganganagar but our station (Erode) u have cancelled y i dont knw u have cancled this route Remaining Every train like Mumbai cst to Nagercoil exp goes from erode too but y u have cancelled this station 14716 from this route Afterall We erodians having problem to catch train from salem or from coimbatore we 20000 north indian expect from u sir u wil surely solve this problem Pls add this route ...Request from indian

            ​Dear Sirs,

            Ref train: Chennai to Bangalore- Mail leaving MAS Train No 12657 on Thursday 23.02.2017 at 11.15 pm, Coach no S7.

            the coach is II class sleeper and while moving, started producing deafening grinding and Pounding sound as if some metal part was loose and also rubbing on the ground as if it had derailed and was running on the ground.

            All the passengers were shocked and had to literally close their ears and hope they will service without any accident. even though the TTE was informed, he did not take any action and did not come back to our coach to check on the status. It seemed we were left to our fate.
            all the passengers in the coach lost sleep in the deafening dangerous sound and somehow survived the trip to Bangalore.
            It appears that some metallic part was loose ​ and dangerously rubbing the coach bottom or couplings and luckily it did not de​​rail.

            Please look into the condition of the coach carefully before attaching it to the running service. Do not trouble and harass the night travelers this way
            Please let me know the status of this complaint, if such a system is available with the railways.

              I refer to my railway ticket refund claim settlement letter sent by chief comml manager's office, tiruchchirappalli, 62000, letter ref: c508/1/mas/2054/16-17/43, dated 25.01.2017, that states "the arrangements are being made for payment of ticket fare directly into your bank a/c through neft. This is for your information please" but today, 26.02.2017, even after one month of that letter, the amount has not been paid into my bank account

                Yesterday(24/02/2017)i travelled in Beach to Tirumalpur train( Train NO:40711). Train reached chengalpet at 9.55 pm and waited till 10.20 pm. We enquired to station master K.Dinesh Kumar on duty. He did nt give any reason for this delay. So we have written complaint with SM signature. This train was delayed for most of the days not only yesterday. Without Proper reason this train is delayed. I have the complaint copy which is already shared in Wats App and Facebook social medias. So kindly take necessary action against the Station Master.

                Also Station master shows record of that train reach chengalpattu at 9.55 and left by 10.05 for the last 10 days . This is total wrong, please enquire this and take action. Sorry the date was 23/Feb/2016.

                    Sir,

                    I would like to say that SRECS is taking advantage by luring railway employees by providing lumpsum loan amount. Even after Preclosure of the loan, the society is deducting the installment every month. This is a very pathetic situation facing by the employees. What is the meaning of preclosure? Do the management is having any concern about the employees or not? How a lower level employee will survive with all deductions plus additional deductions.

                    Who is the controlling and regulating authority to look after these cooperative societies.

                      Hi,
                      The train 12685 which runs from Chennai to Mangalore is often delayed near Mangalore central due to lack of platform. The delay is more than 1 hour. The train can reach Mangalore central at or before 8.00 am. It's a misery for daily travellers. Please try to make possible changes in the Mangalore central so that the train reached in time and it will be helpful to all passengers.

                        I am a senior citizen, 75 years, a frequent traveller with my wife in your Pothigai Express. We found the following deficiencies in your service in this Shenkottai route.
                        1. There is only one Express train with convenient timings. Compared this to the Tinnevely side route where you have many express trains. I do not understand why you neglect this Shenkottai route with additional EXPRESS trains, though it is a very profitable route
                        2. Because of paucity of additional express trains it becomes very difficult to get accommodation that to in lower berths by Senior citizens
                        3. In POTHIGAI express you have allotted only one AC 2 tier coach/berths which is very negligible when you have other preferential allotment rules
                        4. You can extend the DORANTO Express trains from Central to Shenkottai instead of halting at Madurai as you have more idle time for the train at Madurai. It has many AC coaches. This will ease the situation.
                        Will you pl. consider my suggestion which is possible as it generate additional revenue.

                          Hi, I am travelling just now in this train 16348. I am really 100% feeling as if i am travelling in a second class compartment. Is there any comfort in my journey.                               I've booked a tatkal ticket from chennai central to erode on 11/1/17 for 13/1/17. But the train was delayed more than 10hours. So I registered a tdr as I wasn't travelling on the train and got a acknowledgement stating that it would be refunded. But I've not got any further update apart from that either from Indian railways inspite of my complain in their website. I tried calling 139 but no was not working. So how to get this refund from southern railways for this ticket? Anyone can help me on this ?

                                    I'm from marthandam area I went to book takal ticket at kulitturai station(KZT) there I noticed one thing most of the agents working there to book tickets. The agents keeping there forms before nights they only occupied up-to 5 numbers the station Chief and ticket counter officers know this things but they didn't took any steps to control these things.. .eventhough if we came night also we can't get tickets some times they are throwing our forms. ...these agents are sold takal tickets from 300 to 700 so please take steps to abolish these things and save public... . Note: Pls check I'd proofs before giving takal numbers and tickets

                                      I am frequent train traveler.the water flow in toilets of Pandian exp in SR is very low not sufficient for washroom.also the lock is very hard to slide that could not be locked&unlocked.the taps may be corrected to deliver more water flow.the taps should also be changed or corrected that even kids can handle.i have not taken any photo.hope this will explain the complaint.

                                        This is regarding the utter lack of regard for passenger comfort displayed by the Indian Railways.

                                        I had booked in the AC Chair car in Double Decker train that plies between Bengaluru and Chennai(Train no 22626, PNR no [protected], Date of Journey 04 Feb 17).

                                        I was shocked to see that our seats were stacked right next to the door opening to the toilet lobby with almost no leg room. They were so cramped that even my son found it uncomfortable to sit(Please see the picture).

                                        How do railways expect anybody to sit in these seats for 06-07 hours ?

                                        These need to be rearranged, if Railways has any concern for passenger comfort.
