My luggage was badly damaged during a recent flight on your airline, and I have obtain guidance from your Airport staff (Sindu V) for further assistance and help in getting the appropriate compensation. Please help me resolve this situation immediately.
On Jan, 4th, 2023, I travelled from Pune Airport to Bangalore Airport on SpiceJet Airlines, Flight SG 532; my PNR/Booking reference number is PDSSCW. I checked in 2 bags at Pune, and arrived promptly to reclaim it at the baggage carousel (Number 6) at the airport in Bangalore. I was shocked at the condition of my 1 big suitcase, my hard shell suitcase was cracked right from midway through the top handle-end of the suitcase. The damage to the suitcase were not typical of routine handling; they were clearly abused and damaged during the flight/offload. It had major crack at 3 places, and made it very difficult for us to finally carry it back home.
The current replacement cost of the damaged suitcase (Carlton – Anti-theft zipper polycarbonate, Big size) is approx.. INR 12000/-
I have been a loyal customer of SpiceJet Airlines for years and have never had a problem like this. I was very disappointed by this type of service (and damage) from your company. In addition to the reimbursement described above, I also expect that you will speak with the ramp personnel responsible for the damaged condition of my personal property.
