I flew from Dubai to Amritsar through Spicejet and my luggage was handled with so carelessness that it got torn out and made a hole in the bag. Now its of no use for me. I again have to go to Dubai and for which I need to buy a new bag. My luggage was also insured by blue ribbon bags. When I made a complaint at Airport then Spicejet's staff denied to accept my complaint. When I dropped an email then got the below response by Spicejet:
"It was brought to our notice that the issue was not reported on the termination of your journey at Amritsar".
I have informed that my complaint was not accepted by your staff at duty during my landing. Then I got the below response:
"We request your cooperation in understanding that we cannot assume liability for normal wear and tear (scratches, torn zippers, straps, wheels, handles, scuffs, dents, soiling or manufacturer defects)"
Now it clearly means that our luggage is not secured with spicejet. They can make scratches, torn zippers/straps, damage wheel, handles (without which bags are not re-usable for an international trip). Was this information helpful? |
