[Resolved]  Spice Jet Airlines — complaint against non refundment of cancelled flight tickets

We have booked Spicejet flight tickets from Chennai to Tuticorin for four members during the March month for the date of May 10.

All the flight operations were get cancelled due to covid pandemic and money was kept in credit shell.

After that, our honorable Supreme Court has been ordered to refund the money on cancelled flights due to Covid Pandemic.

So on Nov 14th I've applied for refundment through customer service. They've told that we'll be get refunded within 10 to 15 days. But we wouldn't. Again I've contacted the spicejet many times regarding the refundment but they were giving the same irresponsible answer.

It made me more frustrated and stressed. As It has been more than a month since I've applied for this refundment and so I decided to file a complaint against Spicejet to honorable civil aviation Authorities.

So I'm requesting you to kindly provide the refundment as soon as possible because we have spent a lot of time to get connected with spicejet authorities for some irresponsible answers

Kindly help me if there is chance to sue Spicejet airlines in the consumer Court for my stress and time wastage because of that.

I N Uday kumar PNR NO. V96J7C, flight SPICEJET, here to inform that I planned a journey to Guwahati from Mumbai on 05th April, 2020. As you are aware that there was a nationwide lockdown during 25th March, 2020 to 24th May 2020. Due to which I was not able to take a flight, results in cancellation of Ticket. Let me emphasize that the cancellation of tickets were done only due to fear of COVID-19 pandemic.
I cancelled the journey on 24rth March, 2020 because on 23rd March, 2020 there was an announcement from central government regarding imposing of restrictions from 25th march, 2020. Since there was only single day left between announcement and implementation of restrictions that leads to cancellation of tickets on 24rth March, 2020.
Recently I came to know that the DGCA has issued a circular vide No.4/1/2020-IR, Dated 07.10.2020 with regard to complete refund of amount for the journeys which fall under lockdown period i.e 25/03/2020 to 24/05/2020.
I gave my representation in writing mail and through phone from the past one month to SPICEJET they are refusing to refund me the total amount.
They offered me credit shell two days before after several days of stressful representations. But It was clearly mentioned in the circular issued by GOI. if a passenger is not availing the credit shell. Then passanger must be paid complete amount, which is SPICEJET is refusing to do. which is causing me mentally upset.
Truly I am very much disappointed with the SPICEJET airlines. Response from SPICEJET always seems to be a discouraging and irresponsible by providing me the Irrelevant and irreasonable information.
From this point of view spicejet airlines are not customer friendly and not very service oriented. I was not hoping this kind of service from SPICEJET truly disappointing and unsatisfactory.
I would definitely like to bring to the notice of DGCA, Aviation Ministry and Supreme Court for not following the circular issued by them.

I am again registering my complaint regarding non receipt of Refund amount of Rs 2510 which the airlines says that is has statred processing refund on 14th April 2021.
Some hitch seems to be with the refund department.
My talks with customer care is that refund is under process and they are also surprised as to why money not received at my bank.
I have given all pariculars of bank
