This is regarding my damaged baggage complaint with respect to the flight from delhi to mumbai on 23rd april.
Firstly, i had given a baggage for check in labelled "handle with care" and "fragile" and the staff ensured that it would be handled well because it will be sent by a different way rather than normal loading of baggages. My baggage was damaged when i received it in mumbai airport (Pictures attached). There was a big hole and some of the items were missing
Secondly, i raised a complaint with the spice jet concerned person and was promised a resolution within 48 hours (No resolution till now) (Agent id - bom/pooja parmar/125439).
Thirdly, i have been trying to reach out on the helpline number provided but even if i call at odd hours, there is always traffic because of delayed and cancelled flights and the line gets auto disconnected after 10 mins of hold.
Ridiculous and pathetic customer care service, i must say. Forget resolution and compensation being given to me on account of damaged luggage, there is no one to address the issue as well. The damaged baggage contained goods worth inr 20, 000.
Let me also mention that the same flight was delayed for over 3 hours without prior intimation. We were informed at the take off time since the boarding hadn't even started.
Request some one to urgently take this up and get back to me at the earliest otherwise will have to go for escalations because i need to be compensated for all the damage done to the goods and the callous attitude of the customer complaints team.
