Spice Jet Airlines — getting call letter is fake or real

Recently received a fake call letter from "spicejet limited co." saying that my resume has been selected and that i have to pay rs. 9950 as security deposit.
Date of incident - 4 september 2016
I called the number given in the email and the guy confirmed what the email said.
