We had wtitten on [protected]@spicejet.com on 7th February but we did not get any unique number for any response to our email since then.
We flew Dubai from Mumbai on 1st Feb flight number SG 14, PNR - UDPHUJ. On arrival at Mumbai 0630 hrs and after waiting for 45 min for our luggage, we were informed that our 6 bags were off-loaded in Dubai itself. We were not alone, there were 20-30 passengers who did not get their bags. The person who was giving the information was extremely rude when passengers asked for the reason for missing bags. Instead of responding to the concerns of passengers, he kept on arguing with them.
We were then given some forms to fill with bags description, house address, contact details etc. We were told that bags will be delivered within a day. We waited for 2 days and did not get any calls, no one answered the calls at the airport. We had to send a family to the airport . We had business travel so we couldn't go ourselves. In the form, this person was authorised to collect the bags on our behalf.
The family member had to wait at the airport for 3 hours and was told there was only 1 bag out of 6 bags that had been identified. Rest of the bags were untraceable. 1 bag we got was broken. The staff was completely ignorant of our concerns and continued to misbehave with the family member when asked why the bags are taking so much longer.
We again went to the airport the next day to collect the remaining 5 bags and this process again took 2 hrs.
So much harassment is completely unacceptable.
WE WANT A COMPENSATION FOR ALL THE TROUBLES, EXPENSES TO GO TO THE AIRPORT, TIME SPENT AT THE AIRPORT, BROKEN BAG. Was this information helpful? |
