My name is Anitha Sesetti. I am writing this email in regards to refund of my Spicejet tickets (Pnr No. : J5LQSB) I have bought a SPICE Flexi fare ticket which enables me to receive refund and a low cancellation fee for 5 passengers aged 74, 70, 70, 47 and 21) which I have cancelled 3 days ( 6th July)before my travel due to COVID. I have done an RT-PCR for myself(47) and my son(21) (Australian Citizens) as we live in Australia and wanted it for health insurance. I have emailed customer care on the 7th of July requesting for the refund. I have taken Rapid Antigen Test for the remaining senior citizens as could not take them outside for a test.
I have submitted the documents also. But I was only refunded a part (Rs 2310 amount out of Rs 20, 615. I have emailed the team case number 10049100. I did not receive any information. I have spoken to customer care and she put my case as priority and said to wait of a week. It has been 15 days and yet no reply so i wrote to Nodal Officer and requested you to kindly look into this matter. The Nodal officer replied me back that they can give me only vouchers with specific conditions like vouchers will be issued under my name and have to use it by 180 days and that only for myself and my son as we submitted the RT-PCT test documents.
i have emailed them back saying the vouchers are of no use as I have no plans to come to India for another 2 years.
