Spice Jet Airlines — Refund for canceled air ticket | |||||
I want to raise my voice against #spicejet . I booked a ticket through my debit card at Indira Gandhi International Airport ticket counter and at the same place it was canceled on Dec 10th. The gentleman sitting at the counter asked me to call and give my bank details at #spicejetcustomercare which I did right there, he then informed me that the amount of Rs. 19, 249 would reflect in my bank account within 9-10 working days. Which didn't happen. I checked their cancelation policy that says if you book a ticket through debit card then the refund reflects within 15 working days. I spoke to Vikas the customer service executive who promised me I would get my money anyhow before Christmas and few of the executives hung up while I was talking, same was done by Vrijesh another executive this morning. When I didn't get the refund I spoke to a supervisor who told me refund has been processed on 26th Dec and the money would reflect in my account by 4th Jan as it takes 7 working days after processing. I still do not see the money in my account. When I called this morning they asked me to wait more and then hung up on me. My question is why are they not abiding by their own policies of cancelation?
