I booked a ticket on 19th of December 2023 for CCU-BLR flight scheduled on 21st of December 2023. I was already scheduled to visit doctor as my mother's health was not good. After visiting the doctor and within 2 hours of making the booking, I called the airline for cancelation and i was provided 2 options - either to go for a cancelation or to reschedule for other day. Since i was not clear with my mother's surgery date, I was suggested by the cx care executive to go for a cancelation with a promise that i will get a complete refund as the the cancelation was being done on medical ground. I chose to cancel and after a month of chasing the airline and being harassed, I informed that i will escalate to to DGCA and then they promised me a voucher for the refund amount. This is to be noted that they promised me refund in my bank account at the time of cancelation request when i contacted them at first but they are now refusing to provide a refund in the source account.
