I booked an up and down air ticket for myself and my wife on feb 2020 and the travel date was on april 3rd and 18th of 2020. The flight got cancelled from spicejet's end due to covid and it was confirmed that the full amount, Aed 2790/- will be refunded back to my account within 10 days.
Then upon my continuous followup, I came to know that the money will not be refunded, it will be kept as a credit shell upto 28th feb 2021. I wasn't able to travel in the meantime because of the pandemic. Then after several follow ups, I came to know that it will be refunded after march 2021 incase i couldn't use the credit shell. I raised the request on April 9th 2021 for the refund. Until today, august 08th, I haven't received the refund. Each time the contact team ([protected]@spicejet.com) is saying that there is a technical glitch or it will be refunded in 21 days. I am really disappointed with the service with spicejet now. It's been one and half years since my money has been stuck with spicejet.
Kindly look into this matter and solve the issue as early as possible.
