I had booked my flight for 15th of april 2020 from spice jet under pnr kyp5qm in the name of my daughter ms. Khushboo koul but due to extension of lockdown till 3rd may flight was cancelled and as per dgca guidelines the airline company will have to refund the whole amount of booking of the ticket booked during lockdown without charging cancellation fee. I made a formal request to the co for getting the refund of the cancelled flight but they have reverted back with the same remarks that shell credit will be created which can be used before feb 21 for the same passenger. I had booked the ticket in the name of my daughter as she was stranded alone at gurgaon due to lockdown otherwise we would not have opted for air travel. As such this credit cannot be used as we are not frequent flier. Kindly direct the concerned airline to refund the amount. Was this information helpful? |
