RE:PNR OH994X/SG. I broke my wrist from a fall 4 days into my holiday i.e.4th Jan23 in Mumbai. I had a trip planned to Goa from 5th to 10th Jan23. I immediately let spice jet know after going to the hospital that I needed to change the date of the return journey from Goa to Mumbai from the 10th of January to the 8th as surgery was planned on that day in Mumbai. The travel agent was not accommodating. She charged an extra circa Rs/-9000 for the change of date in spite of me sending all the letters and Xray's from the hospital to customer service on the 5th of Jan. I am trying to get them to refund the monies as it should never have been charged as this was exceptional circumstances. Every time I email them, a different customer service agent responds with nothing that is remotely close to a solution. I get fobbed off. I even called and spoke to one of their service agents who was so bad that I had to repeat my information at least 5-6 times for her to grasp. She promised me that since it was her that was forwarding the complaint it will definitely get looked into and will be prioritised. Its been 4 weeks since that call and nothing to date has been done. Spice jet customer service is the worlds worst. Their flights are notoriously late and the staff totally unapologetic. They should not operate as an airline in my humble opinion. I have tons of backup like xrays and other medical records to send but am limited on this platform.
