Spice Jet Airlines — regarding refund of the booking amount because of natural calamity

I booked air ticket for 8 members of family by spice jet from Delhi to Kochi for 02/09/2018. because o[censored]nforeseen natural calamity of flood in Kochi and after effects of epidemic, It is just not possible to travel with elderly people. I made umpteen requests for refund of total amount towards cancellation of journey.
It seems spice jet management has resorted to totally unethical business practices for cheating the customers blatantly.
I think that, its high time when DGCA and ministry if Civil aviation should step in and pass on the instructions to spice jet to refund the amount without further delay.
