On 21st July 2021, PNR - ZY9N2P Was scheduled, from AHMEDABAD
to BAGDOGRA VIA DELHI.We enquired in advance about the SPECIAL PROVISIONS AMID COVID 19 . AND no special instruction was provided to us, nither through text message, Mail or verbally !!
But when we reached AHMEDABAD Airport, we were suddenly informed that RTPCR TEST FOR COVID 19 WAS REQUIRED !! ( as per the rule of WEST BENGAL GOVERNMENT ) . This rule was introduced 2 days after we booked the ticket, and no information was provided to us regarding the same. HAD IT BEEN INFORMED TO US EARLIER, WE WOULD HAVE ARRANGED IT !! AND WE HAD TO PAY A HEAVY AMOUNT OF RS 4000 PER PERSON FOR THE SAME !!
AFTER REACHING DELHI WE FOUND THAT BOARDING WAS ALLOWED TO ALL ( PASSENGERS HAVING AND NOT HAVING RTPCR TEST REPORT BOTH) !! NEITHER ANY SUCH CHECKING WAS PERFORMED AT BAGDOGRA AIRPORT.
We informed SPICEJET EXECUTIVE AT AHMEDABAD AIRPORT, THAT WE WERE PROVIDED WITH THE FIRST DOSE OF VACCINE !! BUT THEY HAD DENIED ALLOWING BOARDING !!
SINCE THE JOURNEY TOO WAS ESSENTIAL, WE COULD NOT AFFORD TO MISS IT !! SO WE HAD TO FORCIBLY PAY FOR RTPCR REPORT
SINCE THE MISTAKE WAS NOT FORM OUR END, WE REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE REFUND THE TICKET FARE AND TEST REPORT CHARGES Rs.8000 .
IN DELHI AIRPORT (SPICEJET BOARDING POINT ) WHEN WE ENQUIRED REGARDING THE SAME, THEY VERIFIED IT THROUGH THEIR SYSTEM AND FOUND THAT REALLY NO INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED TO US REGARDING THE SAME !! THEN THEY ASKED US TO FILE A COMPLAINT REGARDING THE SAME !!
BEING SO REPUTED COMPANY WE DID NO EXPECT SUCH TYPE OF INCONVENIENCE FORM SPICEJET. IF THE SAME SERVICE WOULD BE PROVIDED, THEN PEOPLE WOULD MIGRATE TOWARDS OTHER COMPANIES !!
