I booked for flight from Dubai to Calicut. Initial time was 15 December 7:55pm. Then I got a message that it is departing early by 55mins. I came to airport at 3pm just to avoid worries. But they told me flight departed at 12:55. Which is 7 hours early.
So I went to office and they told me they have informed through email. No I didn't receive any mail from the spicejet. The staff searched my entire email. He even checks my personal email and messages which is not cool. Then I asked them to give me next flight. Instead they booked next day flight for me. What about my day? They didn't provide me with any accommodation or food. My entire day and next day also gone. I had to spend one more night in a costly city like Dubai. I am not a person who works in Dubai. I came here to visit. I lost 2 days salary pay and I had to live in Dubai for one more night. They didn't pay me nothing.
I had to take leave in office on thursday and friday. Also I had paid additional for the window seat in my initial booking. They booked me the side seat. Rescheduling flights with 7 hour gaps is not at all accepted. We are booking evening flights for our convenience.
This has happened to me in spiceJet before too. Now I can't stay silent. If you didn't provide me with the compensation I would never ever book in Spicejet and will start to move legally.
I need a full refund + 1 day accomodation and food cost in Dubai + My 2 days salary compensation.
