I am writing this complaint and am expecting to be taken extremely seriously regarding the issue at hand. I had booked my flight from Chennai to Mumbai for the 5th of April, 2015 on the 19th of February, 2015. A day before the flight back when we were travelling through South India, I received a call of from the spice jet Customer care casually "informing" me that my flight was cancelled. Their solution was to either get a full refund (which I have not got yet) or rebook via Spice jet on the same day at 5:55 AM! This is RIDICULOUS because my flight was originally at 7:45 PM! Mr. Mohamed Yunus from the customer care even agreed that flight was cancelled because there were not enough passengers on the flight! I must say that I had heard a general feedback in the market of Spicejet being an incredibly pathetic airline, especially in the midst of competitive and efficient airlines lie Indigo, but after this experience I have suffered and learnt for myself that SPICE-JET AIRLINE LACKS INTEGRITY. I strongly recommend that this airline must be abolished, as they are not right for the service industry when this is the way they treat their customers. Informing people at the last minute about a flight cancellation so that they have to immediately rebook tickets 3 times the price is pathetic and abysmal service. When there is a problem, the airline must provide feasible solutions. Spice jet offered a flight at 5:55 AM which we were unable to make it to as were not even IN THE CITY! I have travelled around the world but never have I seen this kind of service, and the tragic part is this seems to happen so often with Spice jet that it is considered a consistent character trait of the airline. No wonder customer care people and complaints boards are so casual regarding consumer escalations! Spice jet's lack of integrity not only cost me more than three times the price I paid for this pathetic flight, but it also cost me a precious day when I was supposed to be on holiday, and this is something I will never forget. I expect compensation from the Airline as not only has it caused me mental stress but due to it I have suffered financially as well. A mere refund will not do and its high time Spice-jet stopped taking people for granted. I have already lodged a consumer complaint so hopefully you will be hearing from us very soon. A note to Spice jet, its obvious the airline has no value for people's time and no regard for customers in general, but they also seem to lack the general manners which are needed to remain in the business they are in. I LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY THIS AIRLINE WILL SHUT FOR GOOD, ESPECIALLY SINCE AT THIS RATE THAT DAY SEEMS TO BE VERY CLOSE. We customers have something great to look forward to.I had to rebook my flights and I have incurred a damaging amount of Rs. 12000 plus for two new tickets, thanks to your airline. But j guess this must be an issue you deal with everyday as you are in the habit of cancelling your customer's flights and I have started to sense (like my colleagues and friends) that this is probably a strategy too. We don't trust Spicejet to do any good for anyone, and I expect to be compensated for the amount I had to incur over the already paid amount to your airline, as there really is no one else to take responsibility for this but your airline. Do not expect people to take the fault for your absolute inability to perform.

I received a mail from your end on 03.04.15 that flight SG-215 (PNR-BYZWXQ) flying from Mumbai to Trivandrum on 10.04.15 has been rescheduled. I had booked this ticket on 9th September 14!! Based on your mail correspondence when I enquired with customer service I was informed that you have stopped operating Mumbai-Trivandrum route & that the flights operating on that route have been cancelled permanently. This is highly surprising as you have mentioned "Rescheduled" in your mail which is misleading!! I find it highly disturbing & surprising that this information was provided to me a few days before the scheduled flight date & that too when I called up your customer service. The information about route cancellation should have be proactively provided by you well in advance. This is a serious lapse of service at your end. I have booked the following flights for Mumbai-Trivandrum & return with you: 1. SG 215 (PNR-BYZWXQ) dated 10.04.15 2.SG-216 (PNR-O7CK8J) dated 28.04.15 3. SG-216 (PNR-UDKGRX) dated 06.06.15 I presume that since you have stopped operating this route, all the above flights will be cancelled as well. Not only have you put the customer under severe inconvenience by cancelling the route altogether, you also have not informed the customer about the cancellation. I had to call you to understand about the cancellation .I would not have received this information had I not called. Such kind of pathetic service is not expected from an organization like yours. As you know that you have cancelled the flights with a very short notice of so called "Rescheduling" & this being peak season for travelling, rebooking tickets again would be a very expensive affair. Your irresponsible & negligent act will cause undesired mental, physical & monetary inconvenience to me for which I seek appropriate compensation from your end. This compensation should include: 1.Arrangement/Compensation of alternative flight for all passengers from Mumbai-Trivandrum & back as per our travel schedule. 2.Interest cost incurred on the flight booking from the period of booking i.e Sep 14 to Apr 15 3.Monetary compensation for mental & physical inconvenience caused. 4. Monetary compensation for waste of my time corresponding with your customer service & mail. 5.Complete refund of my booking money. I would also like to highlight the indifferent attitude of your customer service executive which adds to the unprofessional approach of the company towards customers . Your customer executive cut the call in midst of my conversation in spite of my request to continue the call seeking resolution. This reflects very badly on the attitude of your organization towards customers. I had booked the flight tickets for an important event at my native place well in advance & because of your mismanagement I am stuck without an option to reach on time without incurring an exorbitant amount of money & inconvenience. Is this the way to treat customers??? Service oriented industry like yours should take customers on priority before anything else but that is totally missing in this case!! I have not received any reply to my mail dated 03.04.15 since 4 days.Nobody picks up in customer care!I have tried calling atleast 100 times now in last 2 days! It is highly disturbing to see such acts from a reputed company like yours & I hope that necessary steps would be taken from your side to resolve the issue & provide compensation as demanded above.

I had booked a ticket from Vishakapatnam to Hyderabad, for 13th April 2015, scheduled for departure at 9 AM. The flight has since been rescheduled to depart at 6:45 PM. I had a connecting flight from Hyderabad to Mumbai at 6:15 PM by Jet Airways. With the reschedule of the Spicejet flight, I would not be able to take the connecting flight from Hyderabad. I have raised the issue with Spicejet, but they haven't given me a viable solution. I would like to demand a compensation from Spicejet in lieu of the inconvenience caused, apart from the refund of the ticket offered by the airline.

My name is Sunil Kumar. I booked a ticket from Makemytrip with booking ID - NF[protected] and with Spice Jet PNR number -Z3R4NY. On April 3, I got Email from Makemytrip saying that your booking has been confirmed for Spice Jet flight on April 5 at 19:35 PM. (see previous Email) Today, I called Spice Jet for enquirer about my ticket. They were saying that flight has been cancelled 1 week ago. They informed Makemytrip and sent an Email/SMS about flight cancellation but I did not get any Email/SMS/Call/ either from Makemytrip or SpiceJet expects an SMS of flight re-schedule of 1 hour ago. I called Make my trip customer support regarding this. They were saying that re-schedule of flight depends upon Airlines. Airline should take care of this. SpiceJet Customer support was saying that they had informed Makemytrip. I don’t know how you guys informed each other but I did not have any notification of cancellation. Why did Makemytrip send an email of ticket confirmation day before yesterday if the flight has been cancellation one week ago. what I understand here that I paid for booking a ticket of today’s flight. I did not get any notification from either from Spice jet or Makemytrip of flight cancellation. I have to go to Bangalore today and I need a ticket of today from Delhi to Bangalore either by Spice Jet or Makemytrip. I will not pay any extra money either by a new ticket or cancellation charge. Makemy trip customer support was asking me to book a new ticket. Why should I suffer by cancellation of existing ticket and a double amount of new ticket. Regards, Sunil Kumar [protected]

Dear friend, I was trying to book tickets from Delhi to Bangalore. on website http://www.spicejet.com/ I made payment using credit card, payment went through and booking failed. I was afraid to try again. There customer service is so bad, it is more than week they have not resolved. Bad parts there customer service asking questions like CVV/expiry date makes me feel the ethical issue as well with employee of spice jet. Why do they need cvv and expiry date. God save spice Jet and their employee

Myself Shivakumar Sudalaimuthu want to lodge a complaint on spicejet for cancelling the flight SG 401 without prior intimation to the passengers. This caused highly inconvenience with loss of energy and time. When we reach the airport expecting for our flight, the spicejet executive told us that the fight has been cancelled. We asked the spicejet executive 'why have you not informed earlier'. They said the SMS and E-mail has already been sent to us. but we have not received any such SMS or E-mail. We came to know that the flight has been cancelled only after we reaching the airport. This is our PNR no: REL32R. One of from us is a senior citizen who could not walk, We carried her all the way from home to airport to catch the flight. We are highly disappointed with their service. Kindly do the needful in lodging the complaint.

I have booked my flight ticket to board flight SG 422 for travelling from Hyderabad to Mumbai on 6th Aor 2015. On 31st Mar I got a message from the Customer care that my flight stands cancelled and I need to contact the Customer care to book another flight with the airliner. I have called the Customer care on 31st Mar and 1st Apr but there was no personnel to attend my calls. Hence, I had no option but to book my ticket with another airliner. After this horrific experience and the helplessness, I just wanted to know if at all the airliner is going to refund the money for booked ticket and if they give in how many days. I have visited the site and while trying to cancel, It said that "Dear customer, since your flight has not been cancelled or rescheduled by 90 minutes or more. please modify your booking through the Manage my Booking section". I booked tickets from Delhi to Srinagar in September 2014 for travel in March 2015. The flight was scheduled to depart at 8:40 AM on March 29, I completed the web check-in on March 27 and had the seat numbers etc. issued to me. 12:09 PM on March 28 I recieved an sms that said that my flight is changed to SG160 to cater to summer schedules. I called the helpdesk and was told that the flight is full and that I do not have any flights available. The earliest they can offer me is April 4. This has caused huge losses in cancelled hotel bookings and it seems like a fraud run by Spicejet to siphon off money from unsuspecting customers causing them mental hassle as well as financial losses. Request you to take action against them.

Since then I have been trying to contact the Spice jet Customer Care but there is no response as result I am left in the lurch. I have no information on the alternatives to the cancelled flights SG-223 and SG-224 for 30 March, 2015 and 03 April, 2015. I have already wasted a lot of my time and energy trying to contact Spicejet. Kindy do the needful so that I get information at the latest on this so that I can plan and manage my trip properly. I booked round-trip tickets for my travel to Coimbatore from Chennai (23rd of March to Coimbatore and 25th of March to Chennai). The only reason for booking those tickets, despite my friends warning me not to, was an offer that was in place on the day when I booked the tickets. As expected, I got an e-mail from Spicejet on the 15th of March stating that my flight to Coimbatore has been cancelled due to operational reasons. I booked a bus ticket to Coimbatore for my journey. I was hoping and praying that my return ticket to Chennai should remain good and not get cancelled again. God did not answer my prayers! I got a call from a Spicejet representative on the 24th of March (few hours before my journey to Chennai) stating that the flight to Chennai has also been cancelled due to "Operational" reasons. I am not mentioning the trouble that I had to go through to find an alternate way to reach Chennai. I have two things to say to the SpiceJet team, 1. I know that your company is going through crisis, that doesn't mean you should let your customers share your burden. 2. WHY THE HELL DO YOU ANNOUNCE OFFERS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE INTENTION of letting the customers benefit from it? I WANT MY MONEY BACK! I WANT IT NOW! Why should I wait for 30 days to get my money?
