I travelled from Amritsar to Male (26th Aug 2021, SG 9321) and Male to Toronto (27th Aug 2021, YU 641). Both the flights were chartered by SpiceJet. On arrival at Pearson Toronto Airport I did not receive my checked in baggage. I have sent multiple mails to SpiceJet fro which I get only automated replies(attached). I have mailed to EuroAtlantic also for which they have replied and kept me updated about the steps being taken to trace my two checked in bags. They have also said that the responsibility is solely on SpiceJet since they are the ones who chartered the EuroAtlantic flight. I have no baggage and I am spending money unnecessarily on things of daily needs. I have also requested SpiceJet to send me the PIR form so that I can claim insurance for my lost baggage. This has to be done within 7 days.That means I have to file the claim within 24 hours. I have no response from SpiceJet on that either.
I don't understand how they lost 'some' baggage because some people have got their luggage and some have not. Also, if they have lost it, why can't they send me the PIR form so that I can claim insurance. You must be aware that the claim needs to be filed within 7 days!! Please send me the form. This urgent.
