My mother had been keeping i'll from past 5-6 days. When the doctors in my area failed to treat my mother well, i took my mother to action balaji hospital in paschim vihar, new delhi. After repeated consultations with the doctors in private opd, condition of my mother didn't improve. On 24th september 2017, i took my mother to er room at around 7 pm as it was sunday and private opd was closed. My mother was treated and was sent home even though i requested dr. Gautam, cmo, to admit her in the hospital.
He said that "aapke kehne se admit nahi karengey, hume jo lagega ussi case ko hum admit karengey" which means "i'll not admit her on your words, only when i feel right would i i admit your mother". He assured us that these injections were enough to make my mother feel better.
After three hours at around 10 pm, my mother again started vomiting, and her condition got worsened. I again took her to the action balaji hospital emergency room. I wanted to talk to dr gautam, but he was busy, and i went to dr. Monika, cmo. She was rude from the start, tone and language were insulting to say the least.
I didn't react and i went to my mother's bed. The bedsheet was dirty, i requested dr monika to get the bedsheet changed. My mother then tried to sit but the bed moved a bit. Dr monika was near to the edge of the bed so obviously she reacted faster and hold the bed. At precisely that movement she said "bed toh pakad lo" which roughly translates to "hold the bed" in most ridiculously insulting tone. Then i asked her that since she is near, she could hold the bed. She lost her temper then and started shouting saying "i know how to shout too". But mind you, she was already doing that. And then out of nowhere dr gautam came running saying "oye, kya h be". His posture was so aggressive i thought he might hit me. And then dr monika was even more encouraged to say whatever she seemed fit saying at times "ab chilla k dikha" which means "shout now". There were many other things she said. I folded my hands in disgust to make her go and asked her to look after my mother. Seeing my folded hands, her ego finally satisfied she walked away. When other doctor asked her to see my mother, she refused.
Is this the level of the doctors of balaji?
After all the aggression and humiliation, i felt mentally harrassed by this incident.
And again my mother was not admitted, injections were again injected and were sent home.
I would have been happy if my mother would have felt better. But at 5am, she again felt the same.
Such level o[censored]nprofessionalism and downright criminal attitude of these two doctors have made me question the level of action balaji hospital. My family has always trusted action balaji hospital for every major and minor disease we have suffered from. And these two doctors destroyed that relationship in an instant.
If well educated and slightly better off people are subjected to such harrassment, how do these doctors treat poor and illiterate is anybody's guess.
I have filed a written complaint to the hospital, but i haven't received any communication from the hospital in this regard.

My father satish wadhwa was admitted to balaji action hospital yesterday morning (25- may) for prostate surgery. He has submitted his insurance documents to tpa panel which was issued from mediassist (Appolo munich) which was a corporate policy.

He was allotted the room and all tests were started. Around 1 pm in afternoon they were asked to vacate room as their pre-auth approval was rejected by insurance company as per the hospital officials. I called up the mediassist and it was confirmed that there was no pre-auth request sent for cashless admission from hospital.

My father was wandering for 3 hours from here to there with syringes in hand as no one was responding and his health condition was very bad. His tests were stopped in between and he was discharged on the grounds that his cashless admission is not approved by mediassist. It was a false statement as no request was sent and in morning tpa executive didn't checked and informed him that this particular insurance company was not on their panel.

He has to come back home 70 km away in distressed condition and hospital has charged rs. 17000/- also from him. He was not in condition to pay that amount.

This is a clear cheating and fraud to the patient. I will raise this concern to your hospital board members and if needed will take legal action for this physical and mental abuse.

Hospital generated total bill- Rs 90112 Insurance company Rs 75112 I was to pay difference of Rs[protected]=Rs15000 along with copayment of Rs 75112 is Rs 15022.40. Total amount paid by me was Rs 15000+Rs 15022.40=Rs30022.40 But hospital charged me Rs 33752.00 when I asked to return extra amount, they refused my task. This is not jus a complaint but a request to Balaji's management from a helpless daughter: My father recently undergone stent surgery in this hospital. Due to that a clot introduced in his brain. Its is causing a lot of problem to him. He is getting hiccups from last 2 weeks but doctors are not capable enuf to treat that. He is not able to sleep from last 2 weeks. Anyone please telme how will he recover if he will not sleep. We are not in the condition to take him to another hospital. N here doctors dnt even talk to you well. I request you please tell us if you are not able to treat him. You hospital reputation is not more than life of a family. It beg you for this. Please atleast let us know the condition he is in.

I would like to share what mentally harassment we have faced in the hospital. My Father In Law was admitted in the hospital on 20th June 2013 because of high Sugar and stammering in his voice, We take him to an emergency and the doctors on duty referred him under Dr. Rajul Agarwal (neurology doctor) , my Father In Law was admitted in ICU for three days under his observation , After that he shifted to the ward , After fourth day of admission...

I very much agree with all said above for this hospital cum hotel . they only attract patients only by outer exposure but actually there is a grave yard inside it for every patient . there is no difference between a hospital and a hotel, both are interested to make money by any means . i lost my beloved wife in the age of just 32 years due to carelessness of illiterate bihari doctors . here i dont want to expose about all those bad days which puts me at backfoot. Only in simple words i want to share that my wife which was healthier than me suffered from intracerebral hemorrhage. The same day she was admitted to ICU and her MRI was done but the doctor told us that they had to reverse the blood and she was put on ventilator.On the second day doctor called me to the ICU and said that there is no chance but we can take a chance by operating the same.For the sake of my love's life I said ok. As per the doctor who had operated her had told us that the operation was successful.But as per the neurologist her condition is still critical.She remains on the ventilator for 12 days & having suffered from cardiac arrest on the 11th day as per the death summary report which we received from the hospital. But on the 12th day she again had an cardiac arrest which she cant resist. Nobody cared to inform us that she suffered an cardiac arrest. Even today when you visit the same neurologist he clearly tell you that she dies because of swelling in the brain. these are some different statements on different days by illiterate doctor named as " Rajul ". NOW U CAN GET CONCLUSION YOUR SELF ABOUT THIS HOSPITAL . It is very hard to believe that my love passed away.

so please please avoid this hospital i[censored] really love your loved ones

On 07-oct-2011 i had launched a new complaint against Action Balaji Hospital.

But still i have not received your response from the concern side.

Kindly help me on this and do the need full.

My last complaint is as follows dated 07-oct-2011:-

I Dilip Kumar father of Baby Gitanjali. She had hospitalize (Date of hospitalization in action balaji is 19.06.2011) due to fracture on mouth. This case had moved on reimbursement. But as per details on the discharge summary company has not given the full amount due to EXCESS BILLING AMOUNT BY THE ACTION BALAJI HOSPITAL. The details are as follows :-

A bill of Rs 26209/- cash paid by us to the hospital.dt-21.06.2011
But company has reimburse 22429
Deduction Others 3780.


And,
next bill of Rs 5500 but reimburse by the company 4563
Deduction in
1) OT charges 275
2) Professional Charges 550
3) Others (admission charges) 200

Star Health and Allied Insurance co.ltd has claim the bill charged by the Action Balaji Hospital is a Excess amount of Rs.4805/- .

Kindly prove the Star Health and Allied Insurance co.ltd. about your bill that your billing amount is not a excess amount.

I want the balance amount either it paid by the hospital either by the company does matter whoes fault is this and who is making fool to the client.

Else i will move further step to the higher authority or court for this fraud.

I would like to take your kind attention on the fake advertisements and promises of Action Balaji Hospital in Paschim Vihar in West Delhi. I would like to alert you that please don't go for any type of treatment in Action Balaji Hospital by recognizing their outer exposure and other inner facility. As, we have become prey of this hospital and My father is now death.

My Father is suffering from heart problem but he came to know about this only one month earlier from his now his death. He is admitted in hard command ICU in Balaji Hospital and informed by doctors Arya & Mangla and there is water in lunges after their angiography and so he would be treated by putting stents in the heart. There was some injuries also during putting stents that take my father in very critical condition.They give the ventilators without our permission ,So My father's condition is getting worse day by day after putting stents. But no better treatment was given by doctors of Balaji. Except this, they put him on ventilator. They kept my father for 15-20 days and after that, my father very critical stage & now his death.

This is the only reason for the death of my father. The doctors are also very rude. I am requested to pl. given the better treatment & take the action against these doctor .They could not understand the doctor- patient relationship.

MERA PATIENT MASTER SONU (04 MONTHS) AAPKE YAHAN 07.12.09 ADMIT THA. JAB USE ADMIT KIYA GAYA THAT TO USKI CONDITION STABLE THI.

AAJ(15.12.09) AFTER ONE WEEK HE IS SERIOUS, JAB HUMNE PATIENT KO SHIFT KARNE KI BAAT KI TO HAME PARESHAAN KIYA GAYA.

REASONS.

1. PATIENT KI CONDITION KO DEKHTE HUE BHI USKE LIYE AMBULANCE PROVIDE NAHI KI GAYI. HAME KAHA GAYA KI HUM LAMA PATIENT KE LIYE AMBULANCE PROVIDE NAHI KARTE. ARE JAB AAPKE DOCTOR ASHISH NE YAHA TAK KEH DIYA KI HUM CHILD KO BACHANE KI KOSHISH KAR RAHE HAIN(ISKA KYA MATLAB NIKALA JAYE KI CHILD MARNE WALA HAI AUR HUM USE WAHAN MARNE KE LIYE REHNE DE.

2. JAB HUMNE APNI PRIVATE AMBULANCE KAR LI TO HUME PATIENT KI X-RAY FILM NAHI DI GAYI. AS PER GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 2002 WE PAY FOR IT & THAT IS OUR PROPERTY(YE KOI MLC CASE NAHI THA JO AAPNE HUME XRAY FILM NAI DI.

3. HUM CHILD KO APOLLO HOSPITAL LE KAR AAYE TO THEY ASKED FOR X-RAY FILM. BECAUSE OF THIS PATIENTS TREATMENT SUFFER, AB JAB TAK NEW XRAY FILM NAHI AATI HAI TAB TAK PATIENT KA TREATMENT SHURU NAHI KIYA GAYA/

4. APOLLO HOSPITAL KE ICU KA EK DIN KA BILL 10,000/- RS HAI(JO HUME SIRF X-RAY NA MILNE KI WAJAH SE AB HUME YE BILL BHARNA PADEGA.

MUJHE SARI X-RAY FILMS WAPIS DI JAYEN, AB WAISE TO UNKA MERE LIYE KOI USE NAHI HAI FIR BHI I NEED THEM.

I WANT COMPENSATION & ALSO WANT ACTION AGAINST THE HOSPITAL, TAKI AAGE KISI PATIENT KE SSATH AISA NA HO.

I would like to highlight poor & unreliable medical services of our capital New Delhi. I had taken my mother to Action Balaji Hospital, Paschim Vihar, a reputed hospital in West Delhi with all modern facilities, on having some complication a couple of months back. She had a bout of blood oozing out along with cough. On arrival she was immediately admitted in ICU of the hospital though at that time she had gone there on her foot & fully conscious with no other problem. After about eight hours & another bout of same complication as above, the doctors at the ICU put her in ventilator & sedation. For next two days she was kept in same condition. In the meantime I had to sign a No. o[censored]ndertakings so that the hospital and doctors be safe in any eventuality & I was told that they could not diagnose the disease in spite of several tests conducted on her. After that she was taken out of ventilator & sedation. In another 24 hours she completely came out of sedation & again became quite normal talking to me when I went to meet her. During the above period the doctor told me that her pulse & BP was quite normal with little fluctuation though they did not allow me to see her case paper. After nearly six hour suddenly I was told that she had another bout of above mentioned complication and she had expired of that.
In the above sequence of event it is amply clear that she had died of not getting any treatment as even after three days the doctors could not diagnose a cause for the complication she was suffering from. During my short stay at the hospital I saw quite a few people died at the hospital. I was also had bad experience about doctor in terms of relationship also. The doctor was quite rude and repulsive in nature though nowadays so many training & seminars are held for improving doctor-patient relationship. The big Pvt hospitals in Delhi has only become business houses with doctors as their salesman. May I do anything against the hospital for deficient services.
