I actually bought 259 rs of mutton mince yesterday..today afternoon I opened the packet and I got very bad smell and I observed that the mince has got rotten... I don't have bill now..and as a single parent of a kid it is impossible to go to the shop and give a complaint about this issue..I'm a regular customer of starbazar..how could they give such a bad quality item?

    Dear customers please read my issue as it will make you all aware .I am a regular customer of star bajar it is my second time that is why i am raising complaint .they have seprate bill section for express counter but though they make bills for more than 10items .if we as manager they give bad words and say dont shop over here if you have problem.please customers dont go to star bajar outlet in your life better go to hypercity or big bajar and reliance store or more stores. Star bajar korum is the worst bad dirty service, no manners at all bloody #### i am frustated standing in queu for galf an hour for3 products. Dont ever shop in star bajar you will get bad words inreturn .

      We bought 2 packets of popcorn from star bazaar, on mrp, which turned out to be expired. we tried calling them, but there was no response. so we reached out at them through e-mail. they assured us that an employer at star bazaar would come at our house to look into the matter. but they stopped responding and no action has been taken from their side.
      we are shocked to see that such a reputed store can not only keep, but also sell off expired products to its customers. nor did they bother to look into the grievance of their customer.
      we seek appropriate compensation for this grievance which has been caused to us.

      i am attaching the photos of the product and the expiry date as proof.

        I visited star bazar at Korum mall in Thane And did shopping of gift articles worth INR 800 and when I requested for gift packing, I was told by the cashier to go to customer care department and they would do the needful. The customer care guy was very rude and was not ready to accept the articles for gift wrapping and kept on saying we are busy, it will take time. After continuous request, he agreed to keep the articles and pack after sometime. On requesting for a receipt/token, he replied, i[censored] r so worried, wait here till the packing is done?? Is this the treatment that a customer is supposed to get?? Worst experience.

            Such a disgrace @StarBazar...
            I want to bring this incident to everyone's notice:
            I was a regular customer of STAR Bazar and bought Raw chickpeas.
            After cooking and during my meal I realized that there were worms in it. It was just a day after I bought I cooked and found this (it was not kept at my house for long for you to claim that it was not there in the store).
            I took the stock to the store a week later and Store manager agreed to the mistake, and asked me that I should settle for the refund of the amount.
            But this is about more than just a mere refund. I had consumed dead worms and next week I was not feeling well. I took OTC medicines, but it could have damaged mine and family's health.
            The Bangalore store manager contacted me and spoke to me that they are sorry and someone from Mumbai branch will speak to you.
            Nobody called back for a month and I visited the store again and reported this issue,

            There after a M/s Sushmita from Mumbai Branch called up and spoke in rude manner.. very unapologetic, very un-empathetic and tried to accuse me of false charges.
            The above product was purchased at Star Bazaar, Andheri west, under cash memo no. SLF01$[protected] dated 10.04.2017. The product was tagged as Rs. 150.00 discount. However, the billing was done only with Rs. 100.00 discount. The bill was made by cashier Animan. The purchase was made ar around 09.42 p.m. The customer name was Prabha iyer.

              On 02.01.2016, i purchased items worth 4313. As per scheme i should logically get 2 movie tickets @ 1 coupon worth rs. 200/ for every 2000 billing. But they have given only one. On 10.01.2016, i tried to register in the site http://starbazr.Bicityexperience.com and to my surprise syntax showed 'last date for the registration is over. Please retry with a valid voucher.' though validity is up to 31.01.2016. Yesterday on registering complaint at star bazaar, akurdi, pune they checked and issued another ticket. This ticket too shows the same thing.

              Double fraud. 1 ticket given in place of 2 and that ticket is useless. It is not the question of rs. 200/--, but didn't expect from companies with good track record.

              Hope you will do justice if there is merit in what i wrote.

                The billing staff asks if i have star bazaar card or not, i didn't have the card and what the staff did infront of me was eye opener and i don't know how many customers loose points like that, at the billing counter there was lady and what she did to every customer whoever doesn't have the membership card was added our points which i would rather let go waste but the employee was taking advantage of that situation and adding those points to her card, imagine how many points she will be having in her card, anyways when i confronted she didn't have answer for that and told that anyways you didn't have card so i added those points to mine and more over i wanted to complaint it to their website which is not opening at all. what a pathetic company and after sales experience, zero and the location was bangalore, H.S.R layout, sector 6

                  I had complained about stones in peanuts and saabudaana purchased at star bazaar Andheri-w, mumbai .Its almost a month and there is no response from your end . Dealer's approach is very casual . I have kept remaining product with me as evidence . Due to stones in above mentioned products me and my husband have got dental problem as it has damaged our teeth .Now before taking matter to concerned dept I want to know what have you decided about this complaint . Its a serious matter . expect an early response from your end .

                    I myself and my sister are regular buyers at star bazar at Andheri. As we both. buy lot of provsions. which entitles us the home delievery. Uptill last month they used to accept the bags and promptly deliver to pur place. No compplaints. Today when we approached delivery counter attendants they refused to accept polythylene bags of oil, ghee pet bottles etc. saying that it may get and return to us.I explained them it has neen delivered till the last month and now what is the problem. In fact we are ready to give ourNOC in writing if they are damaged. They did not listen. At this point we could not return also as we had already paid the bill.Finally I had to carry things myself which was a major portion of our purchase. I am a Senior citizen and it was too heavy for me. Name of the desk attendant is Deepak. I asked him to show me the rule to which he replied ot is a order from above.I am thoroughly dissapointed by this. Most are the food items and in any case have to be handled carefully.Normal care is expected and suffiecient. Our Baniyas also delievering these items. Why cant star bazaar who have better facilites. I request the authority to look into ot and take promt action

                    Star bazar at Andheri- w, the counter of readymade food items, ex- non veg s/w, are really pathetic, l don't think they know the difference between continental n lndian meals because they put chaat masala in the cont sw, pls help us for the last Caterers, they were just fabulous, and the non veg quantity n quality both were just excellent, so much so that we use to ask them to make extra s/ w to be packed for children in schools, the kids n youngsters, all came to star bazar to eat non veg items, not to eat bhelpuri, or panipuri which you can get at every corner, I m very sorry to say that some one is trying to push his eating stuff in there, which is very sad, this way u are trying pull the Tata name down...so my humble request to the management is to please bring back the old caterers back and keep up the good work n restore our faith n confidence back in u .

                      I bought mutton from star bazaar on 20th june 2015 and when i reached home and opened it for cooking i saw that they had 3 price labels one above the other and the 2nd one is having a different packaged date(19h june) there was one more inside which i dint check. They are selling old meat with new date.

                        I bought chicken drumsticks (the marinated type which you need to fry at home) from star bazaar orion mall, bangalore on wednesday 24th June 2015. They assured me that it is freshly prepared. When i got home and tried to cook it, it started giving a very foul smell, like rotten fish and i had to throw it all out. It was worth over Rs. 100 worth food item Please refrain from buying and using any food items from star bazaar meat section as these are very old and can get someone seriously sick if consumed.
                        Worst place to buy any meat products. 9 out of 10 times you would get rotten items. I am not sure they ever get a fresh supply

                          From: Raman V Kutty Sent: Thursday, March 19, 2015 11:21 AM To: 'Sudhir.[protected]@trenthyper-tata.com' Cc: '[protected]@gmail.com' Subject: THEFT OF MY HELMET FROM THE PARKING AREA OF STAAR BAZAAR VARTHUR ROAD ON 17/3/201 BETWEEN 1900 hrs TO 2100HRS Dear Mr.Sudhir, I would like to bring to your notice, (you being the head of the security arrangements for the Star Bazaar) an incident which happened in the Parking area of your Varthur road Star Bazaar at Bangalore - 560037 on 17/3/15. As I am a regular visitor of the Star Bazaar for my various domestic requirements since its existence in this area, I & my son visited on 17/3/15 also and made some purchases. Before going to the shops I parked my CBZ Bike in the parking area as has been doing at earlier occasions and after asking the security whether it is safe to keep helmet also there. On his advice I kept the helmet after tying it with my bike. On our return with commodities purchased, when me and son went to the parking area to our utter disbelief, we found our helmet missing from the bike. We came to the stall about 7.30 PM and returned within one hour about 8.30 PM. On this incident we called your security and informed him about this to which he has shown his inability to do anything and kept standing as a spectator. On my continuance insistence to call the security Manager, one person namely Kiran has reached the spot and he also shown his inability to do something on this. Since both these people could’ t help me on this issue, I wanted an incident on this matter to be lodged and waited for half an hour more for the Shop Manager namely one Davinder ( as appraised by the staff) to come to the site. He also told that nothing can be done on this saying that the parking there at owners risk, . On this I requested him to check the cameras installed there to which he told that it is not working and he cannot see it then . But I made him to write an incident report dated 17/3/2015 showing the time of theft as between 1900 hrs 2100 hrs. My feeling is that I lost the costly Helmet because the Star Bazaars security was not foolproof, as they were still allowing bike riders without helmet to enter in the parking area and even though there cameras all round and most of them are not in working condition as a result, while the m riders on their return are taking somebody else’s helmet and just vanishing from the scene under the very nose of your security people who are standing there like stooges. Hope you will see to this incident and do something to arrest such incidents happening and at the same time to come up with some remedy on this loss. Needless to mention, if such things are continued like this and the Establishments is washing off their hand from the responsibilities, then the public will lose their faith in such a Big Organizations Entity like Tata leaving only option with me to ask for friends and colleagues in the elsewhere to refrain from venturing to Star Bazaar in future or be wary of such thefts. I sent above mail but it was rejected after confirming receipt by the addressee. Its totally irresponsible act on the part of the authorities.                               None one from any Big shopping Mall gonna solve your queries... Every one is money minded people only.. till they get money they are your slaves.. After once it goes to their end customer are slaves to them... Its not only in Star Bazaar but n all BIG Bazaar it happen: " Big Bazzar, More, D-Mart, Reliance Fresh " etc... So Customer you have to be so alert before buying any products, , , 1) Compare MRP price and their Label Price. 2). Check the Mfg Package Date. 3) Product which has Offers may have less quality / poor quantity in volume... last one is the most important part... Check for Bill and Product.. Whether it mismatch or not after that You Pay for the Product... If cashier denies so Stop all his process don't allow him to go for next customer... ask his manager to speak with U and get your rights... As once your pay for it.. You will never get return back of your money or any offer discount... Customer are Deadlock in situation when they pay and come out of outlet...

                                Had shopped for around Rs.1200 on 2nd July 2014.Stood in queue for 45 min.Bill machine has got some problem.They didn't have Courtesy to send us to other counter. We suggested them to move us to other counter or find some soution.But no luck. They didn't value a customer.We had child with us and was getting irritated. We kept all the shopped goods there only and return back.
                                We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

                                  On 6th December, I went to purchase Cake at Cake shop at Star Bazaar at 12.00 noon. I told the counter girl that I wanted 2 pcs cake of item no 7594. She told " please tell the name of the item" . I went and found that it was pastry and conveyed her. I paid money towards price i.e.Rs.100/-. While packing, it was found other item of same price. I pointed them and told " please pack item no 7594 only" . I showed them in side the show case also. Then also they were no convinced . They started discussing among themselves as if I was the culprit. With utter disgust, I told the " I am not interested to take any item, u can keep with you" . After some time that boy came and handed over the desired item to me. It is due to the untrained, unqualified staff at the counters. They are poor qualified, poor knowledge and slow too. I faced similar problems earlier and lodged complaints . Then I got call from Mr. Ayub . second time I faced similar complaints and called Mr. Ayub in his mobile, but he did not response. Hence today I thought of calling Mr. Ayub, but as I know, he will not response the called, I did not call him. The cake and fast food counters are empty because they face heavy problems during purchase of the items. The counter sales man/girls are too slow, do not understand any thing, sometimes computer is too slow, Printer is not working. Once the item Code is told, every thing should appear on computer. Hence I request you, to train the staffs well . Or face closure. Thanks.

                                    Star Bazaar prints more that Last 4 digit of credit card, when Credit Card is used at Star Bazaar outlet (Seasons Mall, Magarpatta). As per the bank following the rules, only last 4 digits are getting printed in the acknowledgment when we swipe the credit card. (xxxx xxxx xxxx 1234) But in case of Star Bazaar, front numbers are also getting displayed (1122 33xx xxxx 6789). When I asked Manager at Star Bazaar about that same, he told that he will inquire about that with IT team and immediately went away from there. I would like to mention that it comes under SECURITY ISSUE. Requesting Star Bazaar management to take this on high priority. Regards, Gaurang

                                      Hi i purchase all session shoos from star bazaar on last Sunday 16-06-13 ,in a week shoos sole are broke however when I went to customer service department told me that the has be star bazaar own product could not retune or refund .i also like to teal you that its is never written on bill or shoos counter that this product is not under warranty or non-refundable product, also in customer service counter only vegetable and other bakery item are not retune. That way never purchase product of star bazaar.

                                        every foreign product here is without price tag and name of importer... the retail consumer shops here charge exorbinant rates ... no one cares about it ... i request concerned department to look into the matter and do needful as soon as possible,

                                        Although i read in news that star bazaar has started accepting sodexo when i gave sodexo on 26th jan at star bazaar at skywalk they refused to accept it saying that they dint receive instructions yet to start accepting it again.very poor coordination for such a big retailer!!
