I am the holder of policy no. P/700016/01/2023/036231. I had already sent the details of my child to their staff in order to add my baby's name in the policy. But it has not been added until now. Their staff didn't inform us to send the details through email, he told me to send through whatsapp. So I send it in whatsapp, all the details were sent to him on 7 March 2023. The baby was admitted in hospital on 14 August 2023. When we contacted the staff regarding claim, he said even though the baby's name isnt added, we can claim through reimbursement process. We did that but the claim was rejected. Now they are saying that claim was rejected because baby name wasnt added. I had also mailed the company to add the baby's name but the process has not been yet done. Also, the staff is not attending our calls.

    This is senthilvel. My policy number is [protected]. I raised a claim on 15/Jun/2023 and I submitted all the original bills on 28/Jun/2023. The claim amount has approved on 24/Jul/2023. I spoke with the customer care persons five times and 15 days before they raised a ticket (ticket number 7884634).
    But I haven't get the amount yet. Every time they are telling you will get the amount by this week. Please help me to get my amount.

        From the above, one may kindly note that Star Health and Allied Insurance Ghatkopar, Mumbai Br. Manager – Mr. Shivram Nanak Pal has not used words like: Please, Kindly, Thanks, Thank you etc. His tone is very rude, impolite and commanding! Star Health and Allied Insurance Ghatkopar, Mumbai Br. Manager – Mr. Shivram Nanak Pal says “Come in Branch and Collect”; “Not Possible” etc.
        I have never come across such impolite and rude manners from a service sector. Even Income Tax Dept people are more Polite and Courteous even after being Government!!!
        I hope this communication goes to somebody who is Senior in Position to Star Health and Allied Insurance Ghatkopar, Mumbai Br. Manager – Mr. Shivram Nanak Pal. If not please send me the contact details of the Senior/Superior!.
        I am very very unhappy with Star Health and Allied Insurance Ghatkopar, Mumbai Br. Manager – Mr. Shivram Nanak Pal. Since I will have to do business with thim which will be very very difficult, I have to think of alternatives!
        No wonder Star Health and Allied Insurance AGENT MR. JAYAN SHANKAR is not giving me any service. As is the KING so are the subjects!!
        I have requested Star Health and Allied Insurance customer care people to send me a hard copy. But the thing I don’t understand is: every time they claim that the Policy copy (we have policies for me and both my parrents!) is sent by fulfiller, it never reaches us. And every time we have to struggle like this!
        Is it too much to expect a phone call from some one who is superior to Star Health and Allied Insurance Ghatkopar, Mumbai Br. Manager – Mr. Shivram Nanak Pal to discuss future course of action?

            Request for Removal of PAN from IRDA Site

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I am writing this letter to request the removal of my PAN from the IRDA site for Star Health Agent as I have resigned from my position in the company. I was working as a Star Health Agent for your esteemed organization, but I have now decided to move on and pursue new opportunities.

            I would like to inform you that my resignation has been accepted by the company, and I am no longer associated with Star Health Agent. However, my PAN is still showing on the IRDA site for Star Health Agent, which is causing confusion and may hinder my chances of getting a new job.

            Therefore, I kindly request you to remove my PAN from the IRDA site for Star Health Agent as soon as possible. It would be greatly appreciated if you could expedite this process to avoid any further inconvenience.

                Hi Team,
                We have ported our 6 years old policy ( United India insurance Ltd.) to Star
                Health and Allied Insurance on 20-Sep-2022 with all PED covered ( mentioned in policy already.

                Now we admitted the patient ( Madan Singh ) to hospital on 27.4.23 at Sarvodaya Hospital Sector 8 with difficulties ( mentioned in Discharge report and after the treatment we requested to discharge our patient,

                But as the TPA team asked us that please submit the lumsum amount of bill because our claim was rejected due to the reason Non Disclosure of Pre Existing disease.

                now i would like to ask the question to Star health that if the policy is ported from current insurance so now it is company job to fetch & check each and every past claim record from the last insurance company.

                but now they are saying that this is violation of clause mentioned in policy the policy .

                apart from this claim rejection they canceled the whole policy so i would need the help so that the policy should be revived and the claim which is rejected need to provide through reimbursement.

                  I paid 25000per year in this company.recently i claimed insurance for papillary carcinoma in thyroid gland.dictors suggested thyroidectomy which costes 177000and they have approved only 68000which is only 39%of the bill to be paid.Premium amount is huge but insurance service is utter waste of money.they event don't respond properly to calls.keep asking us to call others instead of providing solutions.very very disappointed with the service

                              I am writing to bring to your attention an incident that occurred on August 2021 at Suyog Hospital, Nagpur. Santosh Chand, the Vigilance Officer of Star Health Insurance, came for an investigation of patient documents and created misbehavior with the front desk staff.

                              When our receptionist asked Santosh Chand to show his identity details, he created a nuisance and behaved in an unprofessional and aggressive manner. His behavior not only caused inconvenience to our staff but also caused distress to our patients who were present in the waiting area.He has filed wrong information at star insurance companty to affect the image of suyog hospital and unfortunately company has taken strong unethical decision to black list our hospital. We have recently faced black listing of our reputed institution by other private insurance companies due to this wrong reporting.Hence we have decided to expose this matter to bring your attention about the actual incidence happened in August 2021.

                              We understand that your company has strict policies against such behavior, and we believe that the actions of Santosh Chand were unacceptable and a violation of your company's standards. We kindly request that you investigate this incident and take appropriate action against Santosh Chand to ensure that such behavior does not occur in the future.

                              We would appreciate it if you could keep us informed of the outcome of your investigation and any steps taken to address this matter. We value our relationship with Star Health Insurance and hope that this incident does not affect our future interactions.

                                  The subject's claim was rejected by the Insurance company saying the Patient is normal and no admission was required. Whereas I have presented Doctor's (DR Kavitha P- Bangalore North Hospital) Justification letter, even after the Insurance company not willing to settle the claim (Fair enough).
                                  The insurance company provided the senior doctor's number in the rejection letter to discuss the rejection @ Senior Doctor at ([protected]), but no one picks the number.
                                  When trying to reach star health Grievance No[protected]it gets auto-disconnected).
                                  when am trying to get help from Bangalore Grievance (Mrs. Usha [protected]) she is on sick leave i.e[protected] @ 10 am, so she is not available.
                                  Please, Help Me, I paid for the service, if am not getting the desired service, then it's as good as not having health insurance.
                                  Please return back my original documents and policy cancellation procedure. I cannot run around you guys, you guys taking advantage and just fooling around. Openly looting the customer in the name of insurance.

                                      Yesterday I bought a health plan from Star health insurance. My policy no. P/700019/01/2024/000563 in name of my mother Nirmala Devi. They told me terms and conditions differently but when I read the documents sent by them, the information is changed. Like I told them Pre-existing disease but in documents it is stated that no such information is declared. Now I feel that they try to trap me in their fraud. So due to trust issue I would like to get refund as per rules.

                                        My uncle Ganesh K, 57 years old is a long time customer of Star Health Insurance. He had renewed the insurance for a period of 3 years in June 2022 and a standing instruction was provided to deduct from the credit card. 2 Payments were successful and without any information, the payments stopped going out. Mr Ganesh has his Glaucoma surgery scheduled and the insurance desk at the hospital informed that his policy is cancelled. This came as a shock to him as he was not prepared to pay for the operation. He was distressed and under lot of stress due to the same. His relatives stepped in and helped him with the money for the operation. This is highly unacceptable that without any reason or intimation, his policy was cancelled.
