Regarding Star health Insurance:
Intimation No: CIR/2022/161127/3040348

I've submitted a claim on 23rd August with all documents, however, the investigation forms and medicine receipts were not carefully examined. Some of them are considered, others are not even in consideration for reimbursement.
Total claimed amount: 13340.
Considered claimed amount: 10, 000
approved amount: 5500

There are many discrepancies at their end in evaluating the claim.

#1: 2400/- deduction from final bill: PFA - the documents confirmed that 2400/- is deposited to the hospital.

#2: Investigation and diagnostics: the approved amount is just 1950 which is taken from the Indoor patient bill. The other amount is 1800/- which was spend on the test and was not taken into consideration (the soft and hard both is submitted for all investigations)

Here is the bill of 1800/- spent on the PPE kit, RFT, CBC, and chest PA view. Why is this not considered? All the related reports are submitted.

#3: Medicine bill: based on their report, the total claimed amount is 2676 and the 1444 is not payable due to the below reasons::
GLOVES, MASK, CANNULA, FLAMIGRIP, SET, BETAKIND NOT PAYABLE - I totally agree with this.

However, the claimed amount for medicine and the bills I've submitted: 4190.89
6 medicine bills of 4672 and 1 return receipt of 481.11 = 4190.89/-
Attached all the bills for your reference (physical copies were also sent):
The question is why just 1 bill was considered and not others?

PS: I've not received any DD for the approved amount as well. The final settlement was without my consent, is not accurate.

Very important note:
The hospital (Asarfi Hospital, Ballia) where my spouse was admitted is listed as a cashless hospital in starthealth website, unfortunately the hospital denied any such relationship from starhealth and I had to pay them instead of a cashless facility.

    I'm akanksha ..I have been taken treatment of teeth .the doctor didn't give me extract information .after I had my braces my teeth coming out .I asked him as i'm worried he asid I need to teeth extract I said you didn't said he making excuse I said but you didn't remember ..sir I 'm person who scared seeing blood. After crying for week and ready for this I got teeth extraction with that he did feeling of my upper teeth that is just redundant I didn't know at that becoz he give some injection to numb (so didn't feel anything )after some days I asked him he just said he don't know . I can't even tell my parents I don't want to make them worry ..

      This complain is regarding my health insurance policy which I had ported from Oriental Health Insurance Ltd company to Star Health Insurance company. My previous policy renewal date was on 30th August 2021 so I started my process one month in advance so I contacted Mr. Prakash Mahabre who is my finance consultant. He advice me and ported the policy through Mr. Vasudev Narvekar NJ Insurance I got softcopy of policy papers on 25th August 2021.

      Upon going through policy papers and bringing to their notice for not including my Pre Existing Diseases, they have taken time by sending forms and questionnaires. After I understood their delaying tactics and motive of not including Pre Existing Diseases, I immediately decided to cancel the porting of my existing policy and same I have informed to the company through their email address [protected]@starhealth.in on 7th and 8th September, 2021 and also to respective persons involved in it. (Mr. Prakash alias Mr. Ramchandra Mahambre Insurance consultant and Mr. Vasudev Narvekar, sub-Broker, NJ Insurance Co. Ltd.).

      After so many request on email and telephonic conversions with them regarding the same, their intension behind not returning my money not known. So please do the needful and help me in getting my money as I have to pay the previous health insurance company to continue my existing policy.

            This is Randhir Kumar, Husband of Patient Rekha Kumari,
            Star Health Cust ID :[protected] and Claim No : CIR/2022/231114/2611263.
            As per Doctors advice Patient was admitted to the Hospital with SpO2 91% and HRCT THORAX 8/25 on 10th May 2021.
            Then After It was found that Patient was suffering from COVID Pneumonia. After 11 Days of treatment patient was discharge from the hospital with SpO2 97% and HRCT THORAX 15/25 on 21st may 2021
            The Doctor who was treating the patient had confirmed that it was a seroius case and needs to be admitted as soon as possible.
            Therefore as the Doctor recommend we did the same.
            But Star Health insurance company rejected our claim. Every detail was found true and correct. Still they didn't approve the claim.

              This is in reference to multiple mails regarding the hospitalization of my grandmother in Nanavati hospital for a a hip replacement surgery under Dr Pradeep Bhosale orthopedician with Star health insurance company. The total hospitalization expenses apart from pre and post operative charges were 325000 rupees. We had an insurance policy of Star health insurance for last 13 years of 200000 rupees but the final claim amount issued to us was only 120000 rupees which is is 80000 rupees less then what we had expected. Inspite of repeated requests and emails to Star health insurance company we have not received any positive response and we wish to escalate this matter to you.
              Please do the needful at the earliest and oblige me by helping me and let me know if any documents required from my side.

                Sir iam a star health insurance customer i was admitted to PSG hospital due to covid.april 19th to april 26 2021 .I give all the reports the company through an executive to star insurance company.I migrate from bajaj health insurance past three years bajaj customer there is no issue. But i moved to STAR health insurance .claim not clear covid is a power disease.I spend hospitalization rs 60000/-they told me the claim was cancelled.I am totally disturbed.will not get the amount i moved to consumer court level.

                    Star Health And Allied Insurance, This is inform to you on 4th july 2021 my brother was fell down the stairs. He is admitted Apollo hospital gwalior. he is having star health policy number - P/161123/01/2021/026356 we have file the claim but claim has been rejected by insurance company due to alkohal linkup. and my brother did not take any alkohal at the time of incident. I am surprised in all medical reports and investigation not anywhere written for alkohal linkup. so i need your clarification why claim was rejected. kindly re investigate this case and approve the claim. if my concern is not resolve i will take legal help regarding my claim settlement. if need any clarification call me at - [protected] or mail me at - [protected]@gmail.com

                      Dear sir/Madam,

                      Im S.Uday kiran resident of india.And im from Hyderabad.
                      I accidentally fell at my home on 26/7/21 i felt severe pain in my left shoulder and a little dislocation in my left shoulder which i relocated my self in pain . Since the pain was severe i got to consult a near by hospital (ARCHANA HOSPITAL) at Madhinaguda. Doctor asked me for MRI reports and after further evaluation of MRI he found there is bankarts injury and ligament tear and need to undergo “Shoulder Aurthoscopic Surgery”
                      Which is my i need to go for my insurance(STAR HEALTH INSURANCE) claim.when the hospital billing department sent all the required documents for claim they intitially approved the claim due to which doctors proceeded further for surgery.

                      And the surgery was done successfully and i was about to discharge that immediate next day after surgery.And suddenly hospital billing department says that i “your claim has been rejected due to long standing injury” which is not a long standing injury .Even doctors also certified that he has no past dislocation history as per Reports.

                      I tried to call the customer care and my insurence agent aswell but there i got no proper response from them . I even asked for a call back from concern personal or doctors team who evaluated my condition to be a long-standing.i even wrote main to the grievance department and still I didn’t get any response.They are not even showing any proof that my condition is long standing

                      I have been stuck here since 4days without getting discharged .And hospital management is asking me to pay all the bill and go for reimbursement for which i have no funds .

                      This insurence company is worst in responding to customer and insulted me, and they are torchering me without responding and approving.
                      My agent was also said that your documents are all clear to be approved, i dont know why did they reject your claim .He said that he also raised complaint from his end .And after that even he is not responding my calls and messages .

                          I have claimed 60k for corona home quarantine treatment on covid kavach policy... But they have approved only 10k, and they said as per policy only 10k is allowed for home treatment...

                          I don't understand, no one response properly from customer care side...
                          No information about 10k settled amount for home quarantine in terms and conditions

                            I have submitted my claim documents to Star Health on May 27th 2021. After 30 days, they rejected my claim mentioning 'RTPCR report is missing'. I have provided HR CT film with the report which says Patient is Covid +ve with an infection of 52%. The treating Doctor suggested us to admit the patient into Hospital. My father had undergone a full week of COVID treatment for the dates[protected] to[protected] from the Dreamland Hope Hospital Nizamabad. Patient had given 6 doses of Remdesivir (COVIFOR from Hetero) injections as well during the treatment.
                            I have submitted all the documents such as Lab Tests, Medical bills and HR CT films to the Insurance Company. But they rejected the complete claim of 2.3 lakhs for not having RTPCR report. During the peak Covid time in April, In Nizamabad, all the Labs said that, it takes 3 days to get the RTPCR report as they need to send the samples to Hyderabad and get the report from Hyderabad. So, to avoid delay we consulted the Pulmonologist and where the Doctor confirmed that the patient is infected with COVID by the blood test and CT scan reports.

                            Even after clearly stating everything, they Insurance claim team had rejected it.

                              Star Health And Allied Insurance rejected the claim due to pre-existing disease but patient was not found having pre-existing diseases until he was admitted in hospital. The disease hypertension was assumed to be having since 2 years but there is no proof of having the disease since 2 years.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,
                                I am Mohan Salunke Policy no. : P/151118/01/2021/029393, Claim No: CIR/2022/151118/2584205, I was covid positive from 28 Apr 2021, I was quarantine from 28 Apr to 8 May 2021 but yet suffering to fever, cough and loss of appetite, then i was hospitalized to 8 May as per doctor suggestion.
                                I was submit my file for claim reimbursement on 24 May 2021, company rejected my claim with reason not quarantined (I was quarantine from 28 Apr to 8 May 2021) and normal oxygen level.

                                As per telephonic discussion with customer care I have sent the Hospital letter on 5 jul 2021 in Pimpri Pune office and mail on 7 jul 2021 on support @starhealth.in

                                Please settle my claim as early as possible.

I received a verification call on 1 at july. I am in office i am not lift the call after that I call so many times to the number there is no response.Next I call to star health insurance regarding on status for every week they told it is in still process then I told about verification call they told no problem you will receive repayment on 14 July they told me I call on 18 th July about the status now they told me a query had been raised you want to send letter from treating doctor stating when allvitals are not normal and use of randsilver 2 complete set of indoor case papers with vital chart.previous in head office I submitted all the documents .now they told you want to submit the documents .this is the situation i am facing from 40 days there is no response from star health insurance about customer.still they told it is in processing
