dis is aishwarya. Yeah as u said srisha's voice was'nt suitable 2 sing dat song, despite dat she got a choco shower b'coz she was a MALAYALI. Yes thr is a partiality always fr mallus in vijay tv i've been noticing it since b4.y dis kind of partiality? dnt try 2 identify a person by their region or race.mallus r quite racial plz try 2 see all contestants as INDIANS n not as malayalis or tamilians or whtever it is.most of the time i notice dat contestant srihari is gobbling the lyrics or singing smethg irrelevant or meaningless right frm the beginning of the season. Chitra mam who always finds fault in other contestants is not saying anythng fr Srihari(If it was sme1 else he/ she would hv been eliminated) plz accept ur dat u r partial.In tha last super singer(for seniors) SONIA was selected as the 5th finalist it was "a bolt from a blue" fr evrybody. similarly gabriella was gvn the best child award or smethg like dat in vijay tellyawards. y was it gvn 2 smeother child? gabriella was'nt dat much superb or popular.

erode mahesh was trying 2 cross his border dat day during wild card round. thr was nothng serious gng between shalini n the judges bt he tried 2 to act too much.The judges themselves were very polite bt who is he 2 poke his nose suddenly. nobody has any right 2 hurt any of the contestants.if they r working fr the channel, r they ur slaves? it was too too much dat day n it irritated me. he kept frowning @ shalini. He is overacting, i dnt knw wht he's gonna achieve by dng dat.by dng so is he gonna get any promotion or anythng??? plz try 2 behave urself, yhe whole world is watching u.

In spr sngr the female contestants r smetimes gvn glamourous dresses.Keep in mind dat its just a singing competition n not a fashion parade or a fancy dress competition.Also try 2 avoid over make up. is it gonna help any of the contestants in any way??

I am a doctor in a corporate multispeciality hospital, with all the up-to date facilities.
I am really ashamed to see Neeya naana programme on doctors done by gopinath, with no sense of what he is doing.

1. if I see a patient and not doing the right investigation - and if there is cancer or infection I missed because of that - I will be in court and sued just for not doing that investigation. Your comments on the credibility of the clinicians work and the time we spend with our patients is beyond your immagination. Think about the sleepless nights thinking about the one paitent whome we operated and what could have been done better and next day get a relief - seeing the patient had done well with my treatment.

before speaking or commenting on such things just play it once atleast.
GOPINATH if you dont trust the system - if there is a problem for you - where will you go - I am sure you will get a treatment abroad with all your illspoken money - dont dare to see any honorable doctor in TAMILNADU.

For your kind information test for tuberculosis...?what test do u mean? u mean the sputum test? sputum test can be done only for a patient who gets sputum when thay cough..a normal person who is getting master health check up cant produce sputum.he can only spit saliva...first understand what is master heath check up and then speak. master health check up is done for a normal person for screening common diseases prevailing in our country or for which the person is at higher risk of getting it...do u know how precious service tamilnadu doctors r doing in rural and urban set ups compared to other states... this can be seen by drastic reduction in mortality and morbidity rates in TN. Do u know how many doctors have got dreadful infections and even died of many infections got from the patients they treat...? its a sad part that the baby has lost the sight...yes...but y did mr. gopinath brought that issue when a debate is based on master health check up...? it doent make any sense at all...do u know how many lives r saved by doctors every day...? y doesnt mr. gopinath talkabout that...? 24/7 doctors have responsibility on their patients and working hard in even the remotest villages and hills of TN by risking their lives with a salary of just 30, 000.itsnot for this megere salary they work ... do u know how many health hazards a medical person faces in this profession...? without knowing a single thing about medical service dont just sit and critisize by watching a TV show mr X...? u sd go to places and certain states in our country where no basic medical facilities r nt avalable ...or sd visit countries like UK or US then u, urself talk to mr gopinath regarding the sevice u get here...

This show is so irrespectful and not to mention downright stupid. Mr.gopi...I understand u are not a doctor and u don know the first thing about any investigations. And I observed the show...ppl against doctors were so damn indecent...questions were asked and claims were made but doctors' weren't let to talk...They were interepted and yelled at! There was a guy who asked why don u cover angiogram in a 3000 rs master health checkup! Master check up covers non-invasive screening of non-communicable prevalent diseases...and doctors do not put the price on investigations. FYI angangiogram is an invasive procedure not done routinely, am pretty sure that person took a master health check up without asking a doctor how it is of help to him. Ppl are not like machines, we can't order complete analysis from head to toe...where do u get this idea from? About the random blood sugar talk...We do that to save ur money and an unwanted overnight fasting. ...ofcourse we know ur diet alters the results that's y it is called random blood sugar...taken at any point of time irrespective o[censored]r diet and the cut off value is 200! If at all its more than that. ..u will be asked to do the fasting, ppbs Hba1C...If not u don have to do unnecessary tests, only if those tests turn out to be elevated u will be started on treatment .And the issue about money and health...We all are ready to give free consultation but still tests are indispensable part of diagnosis. All the physical signs aiding to diagnosis were actually for a provisional diagnosis, u certainly need tests to confirm...will u be willing to take life long medications just because of a doctor thought or u wanna get evidence of the provisional diagnosis? There are many hospitals running in loss*am working in one such hospital, are u ready to talk ur way into funding them? If the drugs, labs, scans are available free to the patients. ...We would be happy to give our time and knowledge to the society. All the questions about the tests u are asked to do should be asked immediately to the advising physician. ...it's ur body u should ask questions and get answers i[censored] are not satified get a second opinion. Repeat test are very important in follow up of the patient and to evaluate the prognosis. ...eg.platelet count in a dengue patient, daily urine routine in a renal failure pt...and lots! Yes a test done in any lab is not acceptable, i personally will not accept any lab results...There are labs in every street...and really not every lab does a grt work. ...I need a dependable result to treat u...is that hard to understand? Before u talk any topic do ur research. ...and am sure research about medicine is way out o[censored]r league...so don open ur mouth.

Then i dont know why you want to critisice private hospitals.. money is meant to decide things.. i[censored] r done a free test in GH. Why did not u go to GH?? Answer is simple quality things will be made cheaper only if government does it cheaper.. kit of diagnostic ser is not given to hospitals by government free of cost.. they have to purchase it and do for patients. So they have to cgarge for the patient only.. Dont find fault with the treating doctor. Its the fault of the system. If like in foreign countries everything is done to patient free of cost with good quality, these arguments wont arise. For that first pay taxes, select your politician correctly, then comment on doctors.
Everyone on road cannot be granted a mercedes benz car by government. Every one wishes to get benz, similarly everyone wants first class treatment but without spending money. Its the fault of people. NOT DOCTORS.

these dont know how much we risk our lives for the sake of patients. at times after operating on a case of emergency rta we come to know that the patient is reactive . how many hiv hbv positive deliveries are being conducted risking our lives.Will dat gopinath dare to come near those patients. Definitely gopinath will be getting a higher pay than the doctors who work 24*7 . These patients are ready to spend 500 n 1000 in tasmacs, movies n other entertainment but not for the sake of their own health. These things will definitely have a negative impact on the people in the rural areas n they will refuse for an ultrasound n babies are likely to be born with anomalies. Psudomonas infection is a deadly hosp aq infection n god only knows who will get that infection, blaming the doctor for that is real nonsense n moreover the way the lady narrated the incident, i really felt like slapping her. The loss incurred in unbearable but blaming the doctor is really bad.

If he have guts let him do a live show as in puthiya thalaimurai and face direct questions from the doctors. this gopinath who was once selling crap in the streets of chennai has suddenly found himself among the showbiz elite and has seen some money. and now out of greed he wants more and more and for that he is crossing certain limits which he is just unaware of because he is a very average person and not the one he tries to portray of himself. this is not a healthy sign for him and his downfall has started, may be back to the streets of chennai again, who knows! my advice to gopi is dont keep jumping too much, settle or you will be settled by the same guys who lifted you up.

All doctors are against Gopinath and Vijay TV. Writing letters to CM Cell and criticising the whole episode telecast.All these doctors are only looking at their own welfare, reputation and role in the society. Did any one of these doctors here took note of the kid who lost both eyes because of negligence of a doctor? The mother of the kid was holding the baby and cried. Why are Doctors not writing to CM Cell to close the hospital were such negligence happened? Why are Doctors form a team to help the kid get the eyes back? Why are Doctors not forming a group to report the culprit doctor to the Indian medical association? Doctors, if you are not doing all this. All this years of studying Medicine is a waste. Accept criticism and try to change it to positive. Do something constructive and prove it to Gopinath that Doctors community care for this society rather than cribbing.

You must be joking. Sure you can come to a provisional diagnosis based on examining a. Patient but at the end of the day do YOU want robe treated on that basis?
And btw you should know -the moment the patient is unwilling forany single test -IT IS NOT DONE -PATIENT AUTONOMY IS still valid.
Please do be sure to mention to your doctor that you don't want any tests done for any of your own family when it is an emergency.

And master checkup is a screening tool -used on healthy individuals looking for the EARLY signs of lifestyle diseases and other problems. But PLEASE go ahead a get the govt to stop it - because it would create more sick people who can thank you for their diseasewhich caught at such a late stage

Could not understand doctors are get angry? They could not tolerate their guiltiness when a person boldly cracked the truth in a public show. Anyone can assure that doctors are not doing such things as mentioned by Mr.Gopinath? Of-course not all doctors are culprits but majority are culprits and business minded. Accept the fact and change yourself.

in my experience the cost of MRI scan including doctors commission rs 8500/ but if the doctor specifically mention that he/she does not require commission the cost of MRI scan is Rs 2500/-. nearly 75% of the cost goes to the doctor as commission. this is the main reason for lavishly recommends for scan. this is one of the profession which does`nt have any accountability.thanks for vijay TV for tarnishing the other face face of this professionals. hats off to Mr gopinath

Really the show has corrupted the minds of the people.
Do u even know what is USG? What is Sputum-Sputum- AFB? What is Angiogram? U don't even know the meaning and u dare complain against the doctors.
A lady was saying that her son was bald bcoz the doctor made her take an Ultrasonogram(USG) during her pregnancy. Ultrasonogram uses ultrasound which is a non-ionizing radiation and it is mandatory for every pregnant woman to take atleast 3 Ultrasonogram during her pregnancy to assess the correct expected date of delivery, that the baby is not having any chromosomal and physical abnormalities and to assess the growth.

And in the Neeya Naana show, Gopinath told this as an example of how unwanted investigations are done. Now, if any pregnant woman is refusing to take an ultrasound, who is going to care for the baby? Neeya Naana ? Or Gopinath? Or Vijay TV?

It is better not to talk than doing harm by talking.
If TRP rating is more important than the general welfare ( which is supposedly the aim of the show), surely it is not worth it!

We will talk about money minded doctors if Mr.Gopinath is gonna work for free. And I hope t complaints are taken seriously

I am an intern working in a govt hospital in Chennai. We don't get any money from patients but we still slog day and night to get x rays, scans and blood tests for our patients. Many of the investigations are necessary to treat the patients effectively. There are doctors who are unethical but most have only the interest of the patient in mind. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing an sick person walk back home healthy. I personally know Mr Anthony and Mr Gopinath and it saddens me to see them involved in spreading wrong information. An ultrasound can detect many anomalies and save lives. These kind of medical information may be hard for a non medico to process
but I assure the whole world that we doctors have your well being in our mind always.

This show was downright stupid and does not address the main issue. The reason why most doctors prescribe 'all tests' is a simple fact that they are indeed incapable of judgment and assessment of a patient walking in to see them (compare this with doctors who adviced you a few decades ago), as most so called new age doctors have come passing out of spurious colleges under the garb of social revolution that has been unleashed by Dravidian movement in the last 50 years. Look at the pathetic quality that we have in the recent block of Doctors, why even Engineers, architects et al..because the social revolution has not left any corner untouched! Did you read news item few months ago on failures of all 1st semester students in all subjects across 50 colleges affiliated to prestigious universities in TN? Aren't you aware of the recent trend of some colleges sending in their 1st year students to their own XII std Schools and 'arrange' for picking up bright students with promise of 1st Sem fee waiver etc" Even the 1st sem student who organised for this arrangement gets some fee waivers for his next sem?? That's the pathectic quality of education in TN today and so why blame the quality of doctors/engineers etc. TN has become a place where merit has no meaning and these issues are only bound to follow.
Coming back to Doctors, it is simply lack of knowledge and competence that is driving them to ask for all tests in the hope of finding some genuine diagnosis with the help of possibly some meritorious doctor sulking in a corner. As long as this issue is not addressed at the grass roots, we can keep conducting many more Neeya Naana, but both o[censored]s (Neeyum Naanum) are destined to fail!
