1. I had a loan/financial relationship with the respondent, Stashfin. However, to date, I have not received any proper communication or final demand notice from them regarding any pending dues.
2. On 21/8/2026 I received a sudden lien notice from Kotak Mahindra Bank stating that an entity called "Arbitrator Stashfin" has instructed the bank to place a lien of ₹*** Order No: STFIN*****) on my account.
3. I was never served any formal arbitration notice, summons, or hearing intimation prior to this order. The company proceeded with arbitration proceedings entirely without my consent, knowledge, or participation.
4. This is a clear violation of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, specifically Section 21 (which mandates that arbitration proceedings commence only upon service of notice to the respondent). The order appears to have been obtained ex-parte (behind my back) without giving me a fair opportunity to present my defense.
5. Upon contacting Stashfin's customer care, I received no satisfactory response or a copy of the arbitration award. They have refused to clarify the breakup of the amount or withdraw the lien.
6. Even though my current balance is ₹**, this lien will freeze any future salary or credits I receive, causing severe financial hardship and mental harassment.

Grounds for Complaint:
· Lack of Natural Justice: The respondent obtained an arbitration order without sending me any prior intimation or giving me a chance to contest the alleged dues.
· Violation of RBI Guidelines: Arbitrary imposition of a lien without following proper pre-legal recovery mechanisms (such as sending a 30-day demand notice under Section 13(2) of the SARFAESI Act, where applicable).
· Unfair Trade Practice: The respondent is using a coercive legal tool (lien) without fulfilling the basic procedural requirements of consent and notice, causing undue mental agony and reputational damage.
