as mentioned in the subject line Worst service provider (br: ADB Akola) I have seen across my life.
Its hard to complaint against such reputed bank but its true due to senior employee of the bank who don't even know the business language and literally come to office to spend the day instead of work.
Unfortunately its my HomeBranch and i have to spend whole day in non-moving Que (Q includes senior citizens who may not have physical capacity to do so) for simple transaction like money transfer, i complained about it to the said branch manager but its of NO use...
being an employee of one of the top IT company i request there must be appropriate and simple escalation matrix made available for the common people (most of the customers from rural area) to insure the prompt and timely work quality.
It is must to at least maintain the reputation of the bank.
Hope this compliant get noticed.

    Against my saving bank account in SBI, Sahakargram, Kandivli (East) Branch, I was issued one ATM card by the erstwhile State Bank of Indore 15 years back. This I got replaced by SBI ATM card subsequently as bank was taken over by SBI. However, every year the Bank deducts charges for 3 ATM cards - cards which were never issued to me. Last year these cards were blocked by the Bank so that excess charges are not levied. Yet, this year again I am charged for 3 cards despite the fact that the Bank record shows the wrong ones as blocked. When i complain, i get only one answer - the computer has made the error! They fail to understand that computer has no brains - what you put inside, comes out.

    Secondly, the Bank's issues cheque books with 50 leaves against our requisition for 25 @ Rs 100 despite . their website indicating that 25/50/100 leaves are available.. Presently, as per RBI mandate, CTS-2010 compliant cheques are to be used hereafter but the Bank is charging the customers full charge of Rs 100! This I feel is not warranted as no other bank has charged and customers are forced to obtain because of RBI's mandate.
    SBI needs to be more customer friendly and not harass them for petty and avoidable errors committed by the Bank.

      Hello Sir,

      I am writing this e-mail with the last hope of getting my hard earned money back from SBI.

      On 15th Jan'13 i was trying to book a return flight of Indigo Airline from Delhi to Goa via Yatra.com. But due to the failure of online transaction no booking could be done.

      Few days passed I found that an amount of Rupees 40,460 INR has been deducted from my SBI account. However no online booking was done with any airlines via yatra.com due to non payment from the concerned SBI account. Yatra have sent a written confirmation of the same as well.

      Refer the Account/Card Details used for trying to do the booking:

      Everytime I call State Bank customer care they open a fresh ticket and after few days just close the ticket without giving any solution of the problem. Last ticket which was closed without proper resolution was : PO[protected].

      I request your Intervention in this matter as I am not getting any support from State Bank Of India.

      Being a woman of 57 years of age and suffering from heart problem, its not feasible for me to run from Pillar to Post.

      Please think of a middle class customer for whom an amount of 40,460 INR is very big.

      Expecting a positive and Immediate action from you.

        SBI — COMPLAINT ABOUT MY CHEQUE CLEARENCE

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I Santosh Kumar Soni s/o Sh. Ram Ganesh Soni r/o F- 2/76 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar sec - 3, Madangir New Delhi - 110062 have an account in your bank SBI in Dr. Ambedkar Nagar sec-3 New delhi - 110062.A cheque from the PF office Rs 12567/rs has came for the clearance in my account number [protected] on the dated 12/03/2009 but only 10000/rs has clearance on my account after my investigation and communication with PF office i found the entry was wrong and short of rs 2567/ in my account after my communication and complaint 2567/rs has been credited on 06/04/2009 in my account when i find by myself who will be responsible for that I faced so many problems .I am a educated person so i able to find out my loss what about the illiterate and ciniour citizen those people have faith in SBI bank.
        Please give me the suggestion and take the action for above complaint soon.Because I am going to take the help with RTI

            I am regular user of SBI credit cards.

            As I pay regularly to SBI bank then too again and again they are charging me over limit fees.

            from last two month they are charging over limit fees and one over limit fees of INR 500 is shown in unbilled transactions , means they are again planning to charge over limit fees in next month.

            Being from a middle class family, paying INR 500 unnecessarily is very big burden for me.

            Kindly instruct SBI to reverse all the extra charges charged on my SBI CREDIT CARD.

            But , they have charged me over limit fees in the statement generated on 17/12/2012.

            Kindly instruct them to reverse over limit fees of INR 500 so that it can reflect in statement going to generate on 17/01/2013 .

            I am regular user of SBI Credit card, I always pay partial or full payment towards my out standings.

            From last 2 - 3 months, SBI charging me unnecessary fees named as over limit fees.

            I registered complaint last month also, after that complaint they reversed over limit fees of INR 500 but

            in VERY next statement i.e generated on 18 MARCH 2013 SBI AGAIN charged me OVER LIMIT FEES OF

            INR 500 IN next statement.

            Resulting in a very high amount, Being from a middle class family unnecessary charge 500 is very big amount for me.

            Kindly instruct SBI Credit card to reverse OVER LIMIT fees of INR 500 charged on my account in statement

                Sir, I have opened a Defence Salaray Package (DSP) A/C in SBI Chomu (Raj). My A/c No is [protected]. My monthly salary is being credited in this a/c only on the monthly basis. I have been issued new Pass Book and a sum of Rs 102/- have been deducted for the same. I tried to speak to the officials/Manager on this aspect but no satisfactory reply is given by them instead advised to close the a/c. May I request yo to look into the matter as, as per MOU signed by SBI and the Indian Military such services are to be provided free of cost. Regards.

                  Unethical business practices by State Bank of India, Karvenagar Branch


                  I alongwith my wife and father are customers of State Bank of India, SNDT branch, Karve Road, Pune. There was a banner outside SBI Karvenagr branch that 'Lockers are available'. Since we wanted a locker in SBI, we went inside the branch and met the manager there. My conversation with her goes like this


                  Manager : How many FDs we have in State Bank of India.
                  Me : Not in this branch but we have FDs amounting to Rs. xxxxxx in your SNDT Karve road branch since many years.

                  Manager : No.. this is not sufficient. We have a list of people who have FDs of more than 12 lakhs in our branch.
                  Me : Since we have accounts in many different banks since many years as that of with SBI, we have FDs in various banks.

                  Manager : Then tell me when you are shifting those FDs to my branch
                  Me : Why to break and shift these FDs in your bank since we are also customers of Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra since many years

                  Mnager : We are here to do business so we require FDs if you want locker in our bank.
                  Me : But locker is a Service provided by your bank and why it is like that for getting this service I have to keep something in your bank? and I am a customer of SBI since many years (about 15) and I have FDs in your other branch

                  Manager : No but those FDs are in other branch not in my branch.
                  Me : But its the same, I am a customer of SBI for 15 years and how can you discriminate like SBI branch 1 and SBI branch 2. So its like saying if you are staying in Maharashtra then you are Indian national and if you are staying in xxx state then you are not Indian. Does it matter in which Branch of SBI I hold account?

                  Manager : Then you have another alternative, we have a SBI Life insurance policy where you have to pay 1 lakh per annum and you will get covered for next 10 years by insurance and you have to pay premium of 1 Lakh only for first 5 years. Also I assure that you will get about 12% returns after end of maturity period.
                  Me : (After looking at the poster of that Insurance plan displayed in her cabin) Oh is it unit linked?

                  Manager : Yes but you will get a good NAV at the end of maturity so its not like that you will loose your money. At least you will et 12-13% returns.
                  Me : I am not interested in such type of talk like If you want to get Locker then you have to buy this or that. Just tell me whether I can get a locker here as a service by SBI?

                  Manager : No then we have long wait list of people, you can come and ask in the month of June and if any locker is available then you may get it.
                  Me : I said to manager that I dont want business like this and dont want locker here.

                  Now my questions are :

                  1) Does SBI prmmote such unethical business practices?
                  2) If they hve HIDDEN agenda of telling people to shift their business from other banks to SBI and in turn they will do a MERCY of giving Locker service.
                  3) Does providing a locker fits in scope of business of SBI then why such give and take policy?
                  4) Is a customer of SBI at one branch is also a customer of SBI in other branch? If thats not the case.. then shall a person open multiple accounts in SBI in different branches to avil different services? Is it legal?

                  I would like to know answers to above questions, if possible. I strongly condemn such a business policy and I request authorities to look into this. Please note that all this communication with manager is verbal and so she is at no risk of law proceedings UNLESS any PROOF is available. So these things will continue forever hahaha.

                    I got one message from SBI stating your application is under process. Then next day under online status of SBI credit card they mentioned

                      To register for SMS alert firstly visit your branch with your original ID proofs Along with the photo copy of the same ID proofs. Write a letter or application addressing the Br manager requesting for change of account type from student to general (if not done so ) also mention to put request for putting hold for 500 Rs . And also request for SMS alert in the same application. The application can be written on the bank of the photo copies to save paper for the world and save space for the bank. It is MANDATORY / ness airy to visit your branch and prove your IDs also it is nessary to convert student AC to gen AC as student AC don't get ySMSes technically. You should give at least one strong proof like PAN, ADHAR, VOTE CARD (score 99 each) etc any one of these along with other address proofs like ration card, tele bill, current bill will suffice along with the previously mentioned strong proofs. Only submitting ration card or electricity bill (score11 only) or both WILL NOT DO as these are weak proofs. There is a score system for each proof in State bank . Never disclose ur AC no and cell no on public web sites.

Insist on providing BCSBI rules in Telugu all your rights (HAQU-LU) are provided in it.

                        I am writing with the concern of fraudulent transaction of INR 17000.00 (Seventeen thousand rupees) from my account on 10-Dec-2010.
                        It has been more than 2 years and 3 months since the response is awaited from SBI and Banking ombudsman.

                        Please see the transaction details below;

                        Name of the customer: Deepak Sharma
                        Name of the Bank: State Bank of India
                        ATM from where the fraud was done: SBI Colony, Old Palasia Branch
                        ATM ID: S10A[protected]
                        Date of transaction: 10-December-2010
                        Time of transaction: 18:02:12
                        Account number: [protected]
                        ATM card number:[protected]
                        Amount withdrawn fraudulently: INR 17000.00
                        RBI ombudsman complaint number: [protected]

                        I raised a written complaint to SBI on 15-December 2010 asking for a resolution but the same was not addressed within the stipulated time hence the case was escalated to Banking ombudsman(No response received).

                        With reference to the video footage (ATM 1) provided by SBI, it is evident that my ATM card and pin was not used for that particular transaction (transaction details mentioned above). My sister went to withdraw funds from the Old Palasia branch ATM at 18.00:27 hrs. There were two ATM machines in that ATM room. When she inserted the card in ATM 1, she received a message o[censored]nable to process. But she had not entered the ATM pin number. So she moved to ATM 2 machine and withdrew Rs 500.00. Immediately, after my sister moved to ATM 2, a person went to the ATM 1 and withdrew Rs 17000.00 at 18:02:12 hrs from my account. Looking at the footage I received from SBI, it looks like the ATM 1 session remained active and that person withdrew the amount.

                        Some things which I would like to bring to your notice
                        1. If my session was active on ATM 1, how did my second session get activated on ATM 2 at the same time?
                        2. There was some kind of a technical error due to which my money was tricked and withdrawn by the person.
                        3. A FIR was lodged immediately after the incident. But in spite of all these SBI has not helped in providing ATM 2 video footage.
                        4. There was no investigation carried out by SBI to know about the person who committed the fraud.
                        5. There was no security present in the ATM, to keep a watch on such persons who commit fraud.
                        6. Bank has shown negligence in keeping the security of the customers.
                        7. In spite of continuous follow ups for the past 2.3 years through mails, phone calls and personal visits, SBI has not shown response. This clearly indicates that SBI does not stand for its customers

                        It is certainly a mistake from State Bank of India and as a customer I have every right to question SBI since they have neither heard me nor provided any resolution.

                        I request you to investigate this case thoroughly and provide proper resolution.

                        With lot of hope and faith I expect a positive response from your end.

                        My self wasim khan and i am residing in nihal vihar ( nangloi ) - 110041 , my issue is my saving account is with Bank of india and operating more then one year , i have issued one account payee cheque in favour of Hdfc bank limited but that image instead of hdfc wrote self and withdrwal amount 66,000/- after correction vide ch. no. 40 and 41 as soon as i got mail from bank immidiate i contact but bank manager not co opating with me due to that i log complain and draft the complain secondly i am demanding pls ch.the video clips of that person so that i will catch u but bank manager not entertaing me after that i will log the complain in near police station ..

                            i s.kumarraj made a payment for appsc laboratory service and subordinate service recruitment in sonapur branch, at lbs branch, mumbai on march 2nd 2013. But the apspsc website shows that check the entered challan number or journal number is correct or not contact the branch but now am in pune. the last date for the applied post is march 4th. please find my correct journal number or challan number on or before 4th march 2013. my challan number is [protected] and jounal number is[protected]. my challan number is [protected] and jounal number is[protected].

                              usually i was using sbi debit card to purchase train tickets through irctc . From yesterday when i click to pay it is not being accepted . and sending the message " u were trying to use sbi debit card payment gateway and the transaction could not proceed due to denied by risk.
                              we regret that the payment for the transaction ,under reference no [protected] was not authorised by yours bankers and hence we are not in a position to process the booking "

I want to avail over draft facility but there are not proper guidelines available in the branch and when I complained to SBI customer care they transfered to branch. How the branch avail this facility when he do not have guidelines? When I complained to GM office Bhopal through e mail ,still now there is no response .Please help us.THANKING YOU.

                                I had a Business loan in SBI, Venkatagiri Town, Nellore Dist. I have cleared my loan amount on 13th of April. But I submitted my property documents as security for that loan.

                                I went to Bank many times and asked my document to bank officer. But they are not respond correctly and postponed day to day. Still I am not getting my documents.

                                  I had deposited the amount of Rs seven hudred only at the ICICI bank at Sion branch, Mumbai on 9th august 2008. By mistake on the slip of deposit form I had written my accont no. in the column meant for the credit card. I had visited the branch at sion and explianed them but the branch people are saying that I had put my money in the credit card and i dont have the credit card. I have a debit card.                                     its has been 10 days i am running up and down to open an new joint account in State bank of India at AAU jorhat. as iam working in the army its so hard for me to request and make an outpass certificate daily moreover its not possible to make daily leaving my duty, they just told me whenever i go to the bank your form is incomplete bring this certificate etc,,, and the next day same comment and the staff tell me that my wife should be there and they need to see her signature in present so the next i went with my wife again Bank manager was not there and the person who tell me to come tommarow was also not there ,, i went and ask to one of the staff then she reply that its not possible to open an new account in there absent ,.and again she told me to come tommarow.. and i know if i go tommarow the same reply i am gonna get from them and its not easy to carry my 3 month old baby with my wife going to the bank daily leaving my Duty ... its my request please try to know other problem... don just order and close there problem without solving ..iam not gonna mention the name of the person who just fool me daily . please confirm me with my email address if the branch says that they are ready to open a new joint account .. my email address is [protected]@gmail.com and my mobile number is [protected].

                                      My card no is [protected].
                                      When I applied for this card they said its an life time free card which I cross verified when with SBI customer care peoples. First year they reverted back the annual fees. Now again this year you slapped annual fee to me. Several times I requested to cancel my card if it is not a free card. But never canceled. When I was not interested to take this card SBI peoples made my life hell by making frequent calls day and night. Really I never interested for any card with annual fee or joining fee as I am using ICICI, Citi Bank cards with no annual fee for last 5 years. And I was satisfied with them. Then why I should take a card with Annual fees of 750 + tax. As your SBI peoples promised me that this card is lifetime free card I applied for it. Please help me in this regard.
                                      All cards I am using regularly and paying in time with no controversy.

                                      Last year also I requested the same by calling customer care. That time they reverted back the amount and same person promished that next year I wont get any annual fee. If I'll get any fee just need to call customer care and they will revert back the same. If you have any recording facility you can listen my conversation.

                                      Please consider my case and do something as the annual fee is very high for me. I cant afford that much high amount as annual fees.
                                      Please try to check the peoples who are making false promises to customer 's in your customer care department and also the franchies given by SBI Cards dept.

                                      SBI — annual charge

                                      i had taken sbi cr card .the agent told me that there will be no charges applicable on this.but after 1 month they had charged me annual bill charge.i called them they told me that it is yheir mistake.but when my card is renewed they again annual charge is leived on me.when i talk to them they said that my card is chargeable thay cant do anything.thae are just looting the people
                                      by giving falsy statement and offers before purchasing cards.
                                      I fully agree with the complaint, even I'm a victim of the same illegal method adopted by SBI.
                                      I am a centrall goverment employee, SBI credit card execuitive ,confirm me life time free credit card.But after completion of one year there are asking me to pay annual fees.When i contacted customer care cell, they told me to waiver 50% of the fees. But my question is why should i pay a singly penny, when i was told initially that the card will be free for life time for centarl goverment emplyees.
