Please note, I face the following problem with SBI Card. I need it to be redressed as soon as possible.
I have an SBI Credit card and I make moderate transactions with that. I am not a profuse buyer and I like to pay off the dues in time. The credit card was made auto debit linked with my SBI account no - [protected] (Kolkata, Lake Twon Branch). Now, as I have never used SBI card beforehand, I am being cheated with the following manner.
1. One person suddenly called up to provide me with information regarding CCPP (card protection !!) facility and despite declaring himself not as pushy as a slaesperson, when I denied that I did not require the said service, he kept on insisting me and finally wooed me with ready deduction of Rs. 1500.00 for a year!!
2. My billing cycle is 15th of each month and the payment is scheduled for auto-debit on 4th of next month. In my June, 2012 statement, I received one SMS indicating (I still have the sms in my mobile) that auto debit has been successful and I have no dues left. After one week (in between there has been no mail or SMS communication whatsoever), a person from Delhi called me up and advised that I did not have sufficient balance in my bank account and therefore, i have to manually pay off the dues and a late payment charge Rs. 500 will be applicable!!! I immediately called up customer care and promised to pay off the dues, but also reasoned them that there should not be any late fine as it is because of their fault. I was not intimated. They revised the Rs. 500.00 and I was releived. But, when the statement came, I saw, Rs. 492.33 has been charged for Finance Charge,. Rs. 104.11 has been charged for GST (god knows!!) and Rs. 350 for dis honour of payment. Please note, this is all on the Rs. 500.00. So, I got Rs. 500.00 late fee charge credited but Rs. 946.44 debited unauthorised!!!
3. When contatced SBI CC, they were yelling at me as if I was asking money from their own pocket!!! As if Rs. 500.00 was given as a gift to me and Rs. 946.44 deduction is very justified and I can not get it back.
Through this esteemed forum, I would claim the money immediately and ask the SBI card authority to immediate cancel out Auto Debit facility within a week's time. All of SBI card people reiterate that it is not possible to cancle auto debit. But, at this era of technology, I know this is frivolous and lame excuse.
Finally, I must say, SBI card has disappointed me and I wish to withdraw the service. Request all of you SBI card guys, please stop harrashing people who trust on you and please educate your CC personnel so that they can talk to customer.

This is to inform you that I have already settled my outstanding of Rs. 31000.00 vide SBI Account no.[protected], Card No.[protected] dt. 30.07.2009.
But still showing in CIBIL. Not yet receive any NOC.
Please send the NOC to my mail.
I am request you to kindly get rid of from CIBIL list. I am waiting for kind response.
