Updated by Swetalin At branch of the SBI bank they refused to take complaint stating it's a third party App and Google Pay didn't take the complaint saying as it's a third party app, they can't do anything. Flipkart also told me to contact the bank.
Then I lodged online complaint on online SBI with case number 63035046 on 21st August, 2021. I was promised to get resolution in 15 days as they have filed a chargeback against the beneficiary / merchant bank.Long time passed no resolution. I even mailed the complaint details to my branch manager or gm.[protected]@sbi.co.in, but no help. In the mean time I contacted Flipkart too, one time they asked for transaction details and bank details to send back the money but later changed their stance saying as payment was not confirmed I have to contact bank.
Then again I filed another complaint at online SBI with case number 65888691 on September 18th, 2021. The resolution came was that beneficiary / merchant bank rejected the chargeback saying that service/good was received by the customer. Which is clearly not the case. I have neither received the product nor the refund for it.
When I tried contacting Flipkart regarding this without helping me they are just telling me to contact bank or Google pay but aren't doing anything regarding the fact that the merchant lied about the fact.
Google Pay still says that it isn't in their hands to do anything about it. Online customer care executive of SBI are telling now that I have to go to bank or contact Google Pay. Basically just saying random things and not helping.
Now I don't know how to move forward with this situation.
