    This is bring into your kind notice that I m having saving a/c [protected] in the name of Shakeela Bano,I dropped chq in drop box in SBI Chaman Ganj Branch on 27th April’11.
    Branch conerns are denying for credit not received till date even denying that chq was not dropped in chaman Ganj Branch,Kindly see the matter on serious note .

      i have my saving account in sbi and usually i used debit card for transiction. but now last two weeks i have a problem , whenever i used atm card machine reject my card because of wronge pin, but i used correct pin.

      this bank if famous for bad behaviour in our society.
      not any staff wants to works or talk easily they want only to broke the chair.
      when ever i went to bank they talks only their home and family comminication. and when i request to do any thing thenthey became to angry with him they work like a pressure cooker when its held up they stop.

      SBI does not have a CVV number for Debit cards as far as my knowledge goes. Only Credit cards have CVV numbers. For Internet transactions, you need to activate the Net-Banking at your SBI branch.

      My account was being started at Hyderabad Branch, on Sep 15,2008.I have transferred my account to chennai last month as i transferred to chennai.Last week they have debited 5000 rupees from my account stating that they have not debited amount of 5000 rupees on feb 8,2009.I like to take action as soon as possible.It s not a small amount to be left.Shame on SBI.
      SBI, and BANK OF INDIA...debit cards... does not have CVV No...

      but debit card of amn amro, axis bank, icici ...have CVV No.
      I am holding an SBI debit card.

      SBI debit card doesn't have a CCV number as far i am concern. It is my request please tell me where can be the CCV number written on the card if I am confused.

      I want to know the expiry date and CVV number of my SBI atm cum debit card. Without these details it is really a big problem to purchase stuff online. Some one plz help me out with this !
      Merchant site must support maestro card payment option.If merchat support maestro card.U simply put 19digit card number.no need CVV.expiry date of card.After click Payment button.The page will be redirect to 3D secure page.Then 3D secure password Send to your mobile number registered in SBI ATM.Then u type password send by SBI and complete ur transaction.But Most of Merchant currently does not support maestro card.
      Reply - i also wanted to pay online for FMS, DU entrance Exam via online payment gateway...but SBI has ended my pursuit...now, i'll have to pay thru Demand Draft...SBI ATM cum Debit Card which mostly comes with the MAESTRO logo doesn't have a CVV number attached to it...also, the customer care people are not able to resolve this issue...they are not even able to tell the Expiry Date of the CARD nor they can provide the CVV number...on the contrary, ATM/Debit Cards of smaller scheduled banks such as Bank of Rajasthan are linked to VISA card & have a CVV code;also, the expiry date is clearly mentioned on the card itself...SBI is answerable to the nation if it claims to be "A Banker to Every Indian"...

      yes i agreed with you, last week i had drawn 7000 rs at chennai ATM all of 500 rs notes . One of the 13 notes one 500 rs notes was burnt at the right corner of the rs note. Immediatly i asked that branch asst.manager he said irresponsible sentence i lost 500 who can take action.

      To proceed online fund transfer via debit card, Verification Code (3-digit Security code) is required.Normally you can see those codes on back side of the debit card.But most of the SBI Maestro ATM cum Debit cards does not contain such 3-digit Security code.So it is not possible to do online transaction by using such cards.So please replace your Maestro cards by visa card or master card and do online transaction.

        dear sir,
        i, anu t p is holding an account no: [protected] (a joint account with my wife manju menon) at sbi, cgo complex, lodhi road, new delhi.
        presently i am serving as deputy commandant at silchar, assam.
        on 27/04/11 at 1640hrs, i requested to withdraw an amount of Rs. 10,000/- from 2nd SBI ATM silchar bazar ATM ID S10G[protected] with my SBI ATM card no:[protected]. unfortunately vide TXN NO: 3769, only Rs. 500/- was disbursed. but Rs. 10,000/- was debited from my account. thus the disputed money is Rs. 9500/-
        immediately i registered a complaint with sbi customer care vide AT [protected] on 27/4/11.
        unfortunately till date only an amount of Rs. 500/- is remitted to my account on 10/5/11. thereby the disputed amount remain to be Rs.9000/-
        however i again registered a complaint with the sbi customercare vide AT[protected] ON 14/5/11.
        again on enquiring with sbi customer care on 24/5/11, i was intimated that i should contact my sbi branch ie sbi, cgo complex, lodhi road, new delhi.
        sir, i humbly request you to look into the matter and get the amount of Rs. 9000/- reimbursed to my account at the earliest.

          Dear Sir,

          This query is regarding the cheque no.203939 dated 18/12/10.

          I deposited this cheque for 579 Rs to UPSEB,but it bounced back despite having balance in the account.This is not the first time it has happened and is causing lot of inconvinience to us,as everytime the cheque is bounced,we have to pay the penalty.

          This is totally unexpected beahviour and bank should be held liable to all the losses that are incurred to the customers.

          Please look into the matter and revert with a legitimate response for the same,also provide the workaround for such problems,so that it does not happen in future.

          This complain has been taken up by the bank authorities,and there is no action from their side till now(its 6 months now).We expect a compensation for the mental trauma caused by the State bank.

          State bank knows that it is not the customers fault,still they are not taking any action.

                    To the manager of SBI ,
                    We were trying to book a ticket online on www.cleartrip.com. We filled up all of the informations needed. When it came to the payment's page we were told to enter our card number and other details about our card, we did the same and then clicked on "BOOK". The page took a few minutes to load after which it showed that our card is not "Verified by Visa". Then we called the customer care. "Getting a chance to speak to your customer care representatives is like getting a chance to speak to God !" We finally got that golden chance to speak after 18 minutes. We went to the homepage of State Bank of India card, which is www.SBIcard.com under the supervision of our first customer care representative. We were told to make an account first & then go to "Verified by Visa". We signed in, saw our account & went to open the option "Verified by Visa". In page no. 1 out of 3 we were said to enter our card no. and password. We did so but the next page did'nt opened showing that either our card no. or our password is wrong. We again called the customer care . They were not able to help at all . They were sending 6-digit passwords which they called O.T.P(one time password)which were of no use. Like this we wasted our whole day (30/05/2011). Our card was once locked too when we were 'trying' under the supervision of your dear customer care representatives.We last tried till (31/05/2011, 10:45 a.m).Yes our card is now unlocked but this bank should be ashamed of it's customer care service, & I hope that this bank will rectify itself.

                        SBI HELP CENTER IS FAILED TO PROVIDE BETTER SERVICES TO THEIR CUSTOMER.AND THEIR EMPLOYEES NOT HELPING TO THEIR CUSTOMER. HERE THE BANK DOES PARTIALITY WITH THEIR CUSTOMER BECAUSE MANY CUSTOMER ARE NOT RICH AND BANK PROVIDE FAST SERVICE AND HELP TO THEIR RICH CUSTOMER. SBI BANK EMPLOYEES NEVER THINK ABOUT THAT THE CUSTOMER IS OLD AGE AND NOT EASY TO DO EVERY THING.

                            Sub: Complaint against not giving clear visible entry on PPF account pass book twice by staff (required for submission with form 16) and rude behaviour by Branch Manager when requested for help.

                            Sir,
                            I had opened a PPF account no. ([protected]) at SBI Yamuna Vihar Branch on dated 04/07/09 for taking Rs. 70,000 per year benefit related to income tax also for high interest rates on saving.
                            On dated 23/09/10 and 27/10/11 my father (senior citizen) had gone for deposited Rs 40,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively in my PPF account. As per some facilities of same day entry my father requested for entry both days but your staff on duty refused with excuse printer not working.
                            On dated 22/11/10 my father again came at bank for entry, it was done but overlapped with previous entry . On request many time and waiting it was done on next page again but with very disappointing way.

                            At the time of submission pass book entry with ITR 2010-11. I had faced problem due to
                            Overlapping and I had given explanation during submission. Though I had faced problem but I had not taken it seriousely.

                            On dated 05/05/11 and 18/05/11 my father gone for deposited Rs 49,000 and Rs 21,000 respectively in my PPF account. As per some facilities of same day entry my father requested for entry both days but your staff on duty refused with excuse printer not working at counter no-3 on dated 05/05/11 and counter no. 2 dated 18/05/11 respectively.

                            As usual on dated my father came at bank on dated 22/11/11 for entry pending due to excuse printer not working last time. This time entry was done but it was overlapped with previous entry, for this he had to wait 45 min for coming his turn. When requested for again printing on next page staff at counter no.2 refused to do though it was not visible easily also overlapped with previous entry. On confirming the name he refused to tell his name.
                            Due to last year overlapped entry issue I had faced problem during ITR filling. Therefore my father approached Branch Manager for some help. Instead of helping him he without seen the pass book properly used words (Jaa Jaa theek hai entry time kaharab mat kar).
                            I request to please take necessary action in this regard why they are not doing clear entry which is required for submission with ITR and refusing entry on same day. Specially guide your Branch Manager How to deal with customer (especially senior citizens) and what’s his job responsibility. Also please update my passbook with clear and visible entries and check weather printer was not working as per records or just excuse given by staff.

                              My name is YHHV swamy.I have come from Bheemunipatnam, Vizag district to Hyderabad on official trip. I have withdrawn Rs.20000 from SBI ATM Haridwar Hotel of my original account of Andhra Bank, Bheemunipatnam 531163. I have received slip for first transaction Rs.10000. Next transaction slip for Rs. 10000 is not received. ATM ID is S[protected]. I have made another transaction of Rs.5000 from the next ATM. For this transaction of Rs.5000 i have neither received money nor slip. When I tried to remove the same amount at Andhra Bank ATM DHMS, Koti I found that the amount exceeded to withdraw this day and shown the balance as I have withdrawn Rs.25000. Hence I reorded a loss of Rs.5000. Immediately I told my wife to inform the same to my Andhra Bank Branch at Bheemunipatnam 531163. They have told to give a request letter to look into the matter.                               I K. Ravi Kumar having a Saving Bank account no [protected] in State Bank of India, Chirag Ali Lane, Nampally, Hyderabad, since last 2 ears

                              on 27th of July 2010 at about 7.05 pm, I had tried to withdraw Rs. 10000/- from SBI ATM situaed at Miyapur (Above Valantine Cafe) Hyderabad. The transaction is processed but i have not received cash nor customer advice from the machine. But when i checked my account balance in another machine at the same ATM centre Rs. 10000/- was debited from my account.

                              I have filed complient will all details in my brach, but still not they are not responding, Can ane one help me to get my money bank..

                                  My father has deposited a cheque in my SBI ac on friday in SBI Khagaria branch. Cheque that was deposited, was of the same SBI branch. Now even 3 working days have passed cash hasn't been credited in my account. My account no with SBI is[protected].

                                  This is not the first time. This happens almost every second month. The behavior of SBI employees in KHAGARIA branch is highly unprofessional and they take everything for granted.

                                  I request you to take appropriate action so that this doesn't happen in future.

                                    Before one month I applied for SBI platinum card.
                                    She promised me that with in 10 days she give me a platinum card. And after one month sbi send me a gold card. my father was upset when he was in canada. when TIA madam told me that with in 10 days she will give me a platinum card,otherwise she will send him to canada. I have my father's medical report , He is in full depression. sbi is responsible for it.If my problem is not solve,I will take other steps.

                                    I had a SBI credit card for I have regularly paid my bills. One such bill I recieved in Sept 2006 amounting to approx Rs. 5500/-, which I paid by my SBI cheque within the due date. In the next months bill I saw that the cheque payment which I had made had been accepted. This was corroborated in my bank passbook statement where the same cheque no. and amount had been debited to SBI credit card. But surprisingly in the next months credit card bill I found that payment of the same chque was stopped. I asked the bank which promptly said that payment had been made SBI cards. The credit card company however refused to listen and started harrassing me and my family. I subsequently cancelled my card but they continued to send me statements with late charges and fines. I wrote them letters with photo copies of my bank passbook attested by the bank manager but to no avail. Recently 2 collecting agents arrived at my doorstep. When I showed them my bank statments they proffusely apologised and left. 3 weeks later I recieve another letter now from a law firm in Delhi threatening me to attend a 'Concilliatory camp' for an 'out of court' settlement or face legal action.
                                    Please advice as to what I should do. Is there any use going to the camp? Will they stop harassing me after that or should I engage a lawyer?

I have deposit a Locl cheque on 06.03.2008 but it could not clear till the date if a local clearance will be done in 10 or 12 days then how we expect a good service from you. You will receive the same within 7 working days." But till date I have not received any card.
                                    I applied for SBI Credit card in 2006. Company did not send me any credit card. They are sending me its statement regularly though I haven't RECEIVED SBI Credit CARD. I had told them to cancell it. Later I received a phone call that it had been cancelled. But till date I am receiving Monthly Statements.
                                    I complained them via email, telephone, but ... things are not changing.

When they gave me the card they told me that its a free credit card --free of charge with no annual fees or any thing.but surprisingly every month the company is sending bills, i hacve used the card twice for Rs, 200/- for puchase of petrol & instantly i have deposited Rs 200 by cheque where as Rs 200 is to be paid by me towards the use card that has been made dead sinces in the month it was issued in favour of me how ever i want to availe the credit card benefit if your company per meits me.lastly i am ready to pay Rs 500 (rupees five hundred only)to settle the matter,

                                    SBI — Late night SMS

                                    Dear sir,

                                    I have got a SMS from SBI about something of their product discount at 2.30AM in the late night.Immediately I call the No. given in the SMS [protected] . The customer care officer told that they had not given the SMS.I told them to not send me SMS in the late night.After disconnect the number I got the same SMS from same No. at 3.30AM and another at 5.50 AM.
                                    What do I do .How to stop this kind of malpractice? Where do I complain for this for punishment of the concerned personnel?

                                    Hi, I have a SBI credit card which has really become a cheat.                                     hi rbi&all, i have taken an sbi card in my mothers name ([protected])and i used by getting supplementry card. the transactions is good . after few years the card has blocked and i payed minimum dues. but once i got away from my home for 1 years .the collection dept has ade several harrassment to my mom and collected lots of money. when my mother retired from work she asked all banks which we using to make settlement. all banks like SCB, American Express, HSBC has done properly except SBI. the collection persons says pay minimum due then we bring settlement. likewise my mother paid more than 5 time in an amount of four thousand something, but every time different people coming for coll. and says the same as pay minimum and gone through with money. after i came back i refused to pay minimum only settlement.they asked to bounce the check. meanwhile we have full money from my mthers retirement has gone in several works, so i take care to pay the settlement after 3-4 months 2 persons came from bank and make settlement of 71000/- rupees. i asked to put in 5-7 inst. they refused.so i paid 1st inst of 23666/- and another 2 same amount in future. i know its a huge amount but i thought we can make any arrangements and finish it, but unfourtunately i cant prepare the amont and the chegue bounced. after three months 1 person came from bank and asked i said its a huge amount thatsd why we cant pass the check put it same balance in 5-6 shots, he went saying i will talk to the bank.after this one person named karthik came on the end of feb'09 and said u have 47, 550/- as final settlement . i said i have 35, 000/- now balance in 2 months please bring settlement letter. he went and bring the letter as same amount with five bills regarding he made payment to the bank instead o[censored]. the amount he paid totally is rupees 24640/- and bal 22910/- pay to the bank. i really want to close without giving any trouble to my mother, b'cause my father has got attack three times and my mother has worried for his treatment. so i have paid 10, 000/- cheque and 15, 000/- cash to that person in march. after i spoke to my friends abt this settlement they said ask him to get detailed letter. i called him and spoke to him says please bring detailed letter, he says no problem and finally with my arguement, he confessed to bring. after that he called me on may asking abt the pending . i said i will finish it fully by next month pls bring proper letter. then he came by 30th june with the letter shows all payments and that 12910/- on the same day. i said i have only 5000/- so i will give u cheque on 7th july pls give me the letter. he refused saying that the cheque payment will not reverse your account and i will come on 10th and take that 5000/- from me. i given i mean of he having letter. but after 1 month that means 13th aug another person came named hari says u have to pay 34550/- . iam shocked and i explained all. but he never talking about the person who collected and he simply frieghtening me that i will put your mother in police station. so i finally decided to contact directly to the person in bank today(19/8/09). now he saying he will finish it in 25000/- and he need balance 4910/- immediately. pls consider my case and do favourable to me. all this for mother who need not suffer anymore from this kind of people, take needful actions.

                                    SBI Credit Card — Non receipt of transactions made by SBI card against my LIC policy

                                    Dear Sir/ Mam,

                                    I have enrolled my two LIC policies[protected] &[protected] for easy bill pay facilities through my SBI credit card.

                                    I receieved the statments of Feb in which payment has been made by SBI against my policy having ref. no R05923 & R05924. On crosscheck through LIC online facility there is no record of such payments against my policy as shown by SBI.

                                    I am in dilema since i have to pay the card bill but not sure about its payment. Response from SBI customer care is also not justifiable.

                                    Kindly assist in this regard.

                                    This is to inform that sbi credit card transaction could not be considered. as it was used twice for ets reporting.As already we paid the fee to ETS ,that merchant had deducted the amount through credit card details.
                                    so it wud be double payment for us to pay the amount .This was done on mar-23 to SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY,EDWARDVILLE and April-27 for georgia inst of techonology.As we didnot ordered the merchant to use the card , he had done the payment.As we already paid the original amount , why should we make double payment?

                                    I am getting calls/letters on regularly basis from SBI credit cards saying that you have pending bill payment of Rs. 13k approx.

                                    I have never used SBI credit card in my life, when i asked them for the transaction for the bill, they say some insurance premium to be paid.

                                    Pls help me for the same, as they say that i have to atleast pay Rs. 5000 for full and final settlement, but my concern is why should i pay money?

                                    Its really a big fraud which is going on by SBI, i have to lodge a complaint against SBI for harressing me.
                                    SBI BANK HAS ISSUED ME CREDIT CARD STATING IT TO BE FREE FOR LIFE BUT WHEN I RECIEVED THE CARD FIRST IT CAME WITH A CHARGEABLE ADD ON CARD WHICH I WAS NOT AWARE OF AND SECONDLY IN THE FIRST CALL I GOT FROM SBI CUSTOMER CARE JUST THE SAME DAY OF RECIEVING THE CARD THEY TOLD ME THAT I WILL BE LEVIED AN ANNUAL FEE OF 500/- IN CASE I DONT SPEND 50000/- ANNUALLY. I FOUND THIS TO BE A COMPLETE CHEATING ON SBI PART AND I ASKED THE PERSON CALLING THE PROCEDURE OF SURRENDERING THE CARD, HE TOLD JUST TO CUT BOTH CARD IN TWO HALVES AND TO DROP IT IN ANY SBI ATM AND I DID THE SAME.                                     Recovery agency talk with me and at home in bad and wrong language and harassment time to time, they are calling me and at home on any time like early morning , noon, and late night also.

                                    Above reason my family and me are very disturb and facing mentally problem etc.

                                    So we request to you plz look into the matter and do the needful.

Even though it is showing strange amount of Rs. 79000/- something as my outstanding. My last month's outstanding were only Rs. 5295/- and I dot want to avail this loan offer.                                     When I visited the maruti show room to pick my CAR after servicing, One sales representative told me to take Maruti/SBI card free to earn point on CAR servicing and part replacement, After two week I got the Credit SBI credit card Card NO [protected]. I was told initially that this card is free and later on I got a call that there are some hidden charges involve. I got the statement for paying the charges also. This is a cheating of SBI credit card division. I tried to contact the toll free numbers but no one is picking call there.

                                    I had given a compliant on debiting my SBI Credit card with Rs 1495/on account of CPP assitanceSome officials contacted me to enquire about the compliant and many messages came, I did not respond to any one.But on 12th a message came stating that your password has been changed.On 13th April from 1.02 AM to 3.02 Am 12 debits of amount ranging from Rs366 to 1436 was booked with my card number under www.irctc.com.As it was night I could not notice the message.NO PAN number is given in the message.Again at 9.44PM another amount of Rs 750 was debited to my account towards bharathi airtell limited.I immediately cotacted your SBI executive and blocked the card.
