SBI Card — Not Renewed Credit Card

My credit card no. is [protected].There is credit balance in my credit card.What a pity that i myself is a permanent employee of state bank of india for the last 29 years.

      my card has been blocked for the last eight months,I have paid the dues in the given time frame and also some interest that was applicable.as per the records I still have odd 350 INR due which I was not aware of ,tried to contact the babk for the same but it always goes to the call center and they themselves dont know whom to contact further.
      i am an NRE and need to use the credit card abroad on a regular basis,Pls do the needful of sending me the account details to my residence and also send a representative to collect the cheque.
      Kindly activate my credit card.

        Hi,

        I hold a savings account with SBI ITPL Campus Branch, Bangalore, and today morning (13th April 2011) I notice that they have used Auto Sweep and debited Rs.50,000 from my Savings account on 12th April 2011 without my knowledge and permission.
        I need this money and SBI has no authority whatsoever to touch my money without my persmission.
        Please let me know what is the procedure, and i need this money to be transferred back into my savings account at the earliest. This is causing a real headache, as no one picks up the phone at any of their offices.

            Recently I was trying to add a beneficiary to my SBI internet banking a/c, I came to know that SBI has introduced a new rule which for me sounded like a completely illogical idea. This rule says that the beneficiary's a/c will be activated after 16 hrs, once the approval is done. Now The point that I am not able to understand is why will a person wait for 16 hrs for an a/c to get activated and then start transfering the money, instead he/she can visit the branch and transfer the funds. Now a days banks are trying to provide thier customers with the fast and better facilities and in such a competative environment I really don't understand why SBI want to slow down a process that too in internet banking. If anyone from SBI is reading this please try to understand that with this new rule you people are not gaining any profits, instead you people are annoying your customers by troubling them b introducing such non-sense rules.

            Yes Himanshu you are correct, Even I faced the same problem. If I have to transfer money in emergency & SBI online service asks me to wait for 16 Hrs. What is this!!! I just frustrated with this online SBI. They should stop this online what is no use. really wasting our time by saying online SBI.

              Respected Sir,

              I am having SBI Saving Account in your Branch vide A/C No [protected]. Sir, I went to the ATM of ICICI Bank, Prashant Vihar, Pritampura Dehli to withdraw an amount of Rs.2000/- on 09.04.2011 at about 15.00 hrs. After processing of ATM options with my ATM Card I had choose the withdrawal option and amount mentioned Rs.2000/- after one minute, Cash has not came out and the print slip came out as Transaction Declined, unable to process. Then I again tried to withdraw the amount of Rs.1000/- and successfully withdrawn. After withdrawn the amount I checked by saving bank account balance and I shocked that Rs. 2000/- which had not received at ATM was also debit in my saving bank account. Hence, I request to your kind honour that please enquire in the matter and credit the amount of Rs.2000/- which was not received by me at ATM.

                Just I would like To request Execuitive of SBI Delhi to Vist SBI Brach Nand Nagri,
                As a ordenery custemer & meet the staff & branch Manager For any Short Of Probelm, Then You will Come To Know How Painfull is Having A/c. in This Brach.

                Any How, My Problem Is that my SB A/c.no.[protected] .my Transaction password Blocked in january 2011, since then i have visted many times & made request in aplication to Branch Mnager As wel as the Internet Banking Officer.
                but i hvnt got my transaction pass release or re issue till date,
                in few days i will going to closed my a/c. from this Branch. but any athority of sbi can do some thing for this branch,then it will help yhe many a/c holder of this branch in future .... thanking you.......

                  Would like to bring ur notice that i have Opted personal loan fm SBI (Goregaon branch) in May - 2004 for the tenure of 48 months and have issued PDC and same has been debited to my account as well and i thought that everything has been cleared and sorted out.

                  In 2010 when i have applied for home loan i came to know that my name has been updated in CIBIL by SBI for not clearing the dues, I got a shock of my life (because i have never received any letter or call from bank)then also i have visited the branch and cleared my all the dues and taken a letter fm bank.

                  Now i have applied for loan then again came to know that my name is still appearing in CIBIL report.

                  SBI is one of the largest bank in India is having such kind o[censored]nprofessional & unethical working culture approach and harrasing their customer.

                  I may be small customer for SBI but my experience with Bank is horrible and not going to deal in future with bank nor going to recommend.

                    MY SBI CAR LOAN BEARS NO.[protected] from Main Branch ,Bellary , in March 2010. The rate committed as per paper advt was 8% in 1st year , 9% in 2nd year , 9% in 3rd year . In 2nd year they have unilaterally raised interest rate to 10% giving an SMS, which , the field officer suggested to ignore. But since the system shows rate as 10% , I cannot ignore it. I am aggrieved to get a letter dated Feb 2011 in end March 2011 , asking me to submit a no of documents that I had already submitted.

                    I have been said that for 1st year rate of interest will be 9%. on second and third year 10% and then floting but now they applied 10.25% at first year saying that scheem changed from 14-feb-11 your sanction letter is of date 8-2-11
                    As per loan agreement it was 9.25 % for initial yr and next two yrs with 10.25%, but it has been observed (Loan A/c no :[protected], from day first bank calculating 10.0 % and now it is 11.0 %, Location : Auranagabad, Maharashtra

                      Since July-2009 i am using the above mentioned account. I have to apply the pass port i dont have any "address proff". So i went to SBI Branch on 08.03.2011. They are asked present address proof.

                      But i am having My Present Employee ID Card and At that time i am showing on Company letter head as mentioned my present Address By authorised person in company. I am working the present organisation. Since Two Years.

                      I am having the only the above mentioned address proof only. i don't have any other address proof.

                      now wat can i do.

                            I tried to withdraw Rs.5000/- from SBI ATM (ID S10A[protected] at MVP Double Road, Visakhapatnam using my maestro card of Indian bank at 18.35 hrs on[protected]. A message " your transaction is being processed, please wait ...."appeared . after an abnormal delay, the screen of ATM went blank without delivering the cash / printing the transaction slip. Immediately it prompted for a fresh transaction after deducting Rs5000/- from my S/B Account! .

                            I lodged a complaint in the register available with the Security Guard and to my branch of Indian bank

                              Sir,
                              I have been told by the Sbi Credit card agent that a minimum of Rs.1, 75, 000/- credit will
                              be given to me but after issuing the card it was only a meger Rs.28, 000/-and the rebates
                              reward points all differ from what the agent said to me. Hence I did not
                              activate the card till date. And that I want to cancel the card with immediate effect. How
                              can I do it as all the toll free numbers provided in the letter sent to me are giving only the
                              information about the card and not allowing to speak to the caller. Kindly help me out if
                              possible.

                                I was trying to pay the Star health insurance premium by using my sbi maestro debit card but my effort was rejected by maestro card by showing as your request could not process as your mobile no is not registered with us. register your mobile no at any sbi atm/branch. Then I register my mobile no at a sbi atm and received a paper slip where it was clearly written that mobile registeration succesfull. Record no 525.Then I tryed again to pay the premium . This time also I received the same answer. Again I register my mobile no at another sbi atm and try again to pay my health insurance premium by sbi maestro debit card but cant pay as same answer received from maestro card secure payment system.Please help.

                                  Before going to the main story let me introduce myself in a nutshell.

                                  Now we can enter into the story.

                                  I needed a Credit Card for some online transaction. As I always prefered services from Nationalised Sectors so SBI was my first option. Roaming different branches in Tollygunge area I finally discovered that South Kolkata bound Credit Card dealing personnels are available only in Jadavpur University Branch. I visited JU SBI Branch three times and get astonished that the rpresentative, Mr Prokash of SBI Card was very irregular to attend his duty. Trying for consecutive three days I got the person.

                                  I was told that a minimum sum of Rs 20,000/- is to be deposited as Fixed Deposit in SBI to get a SBI Credit Card. I also noticed an advertisement which in a tricy way had an expression that FD and Credit Card are coupled. As I was in need and had nothing to loose having a FD I opened one such with a sum of Rs. 25,000/- on 13th December, 2010.

                                  In the evening on that very day I received a verification telephone call on my mobile from their Kolkata office and another from Gurgaon after one or two days. They provided an Allpication Number[protected] and an appeal for a processing time of 21 days by SMS. In 2nd week of January, 2011 I tried to track the status of my application from SBI Card Website. An automated message was generated saying that it was then under process and I could further enquire into the same after 5 days if I wish so.

                                  After listening three times to that "5 Day Story" I sent ultimately a mail on 23rd February, 2011 for clarification. At the same time also knocked Mr Prokash stating the recent position. He then asked me to apply for it afresh. According to his suggestion I did it on February, 26th, 2011. By that time their Customer Service Executive Sajitha replied on 3rd March in connection to my mail, dated[protected].

                                  The message was - "At the outset, we regret to inform you that as on date, we would be unable to accept your application for the SBI card. We would like to assure you that our business decision for not accepting your application for the SBI card has been made in good faith and is certainly not indicative of your credit worthiness."

                                  The game was repeated again with my second application having all verification formalities like address, phone, occupation etc etc providing an application number[protected] and a 21 days processing time. After a gestation period of 21 days I checked the status online. After having two "5 Day Stories" I finally got an automated message on[protected].

                                  It was - "We regret to inform you that your SBI Card Application could not be processed since it does not meet our policy. We thank you for your time."

                                  Being a bonafied tax payer and an Indian Citizen I have every right to know the following facts -

                                  1. What sort of problem was there to provide me a credit card?

                                  2. What sort of business relation is there between SBI and SBI Card?

                                  3. Why SBI displays such tricky advertisement that imposes a coupling between FD and SBI Card?

                                  4. Why SBI Card uses the SBI Logo?

                                  5. What criteria do SBI Card follow to issue a credit card?

                                  6. Why SBI allows SBI Card Personnels to promote their business under SBI's premises?

                                  This may be treated as press release for awarness of future applicants and to attract the attention of higher authorities.

                                    I have submitted a written request to update my UK mobile number on 4th March in person. My signature is verified and I was told that it will be updated immediately - but never happened.

                                    When I raised a ticket (652018) regarding this, I was given a reference number EHS[protected] and I was informed that my request is pending for approval and they asked me to mail - mailed on 25th March from my registered email ID . But I didn't get any response.

                                    I'm in UK and need to access my account through internet banking.

                                    For the above reasons I don't want to transfer money and maintain the account which has no way of access when in abroad.

                                      on dated 06.04.2011 i was went to state bank naharpur branch for cash deposite when i reached the counter the counter's banking person said your account is out of delhi so you had not deposit here and in bank a notice was on the wall out branch accountholder deposit his money to Bhagvati telecom budh vihar i want to know whose this person and what is the gurantee that our money is safe in another bank when i ask bank security he is authorised person
                                      when all the branch in core banking then why branch not deposit other's branch account . you had not heared to us so i have a last way to close my all account of sbi because you are unable to do somthing
