Iam credit card holder o[censored]r bank bearing card No.[protected] from last one year.In the month of june 2010 i was recieved PHONE message STATING THAT YOUR CREDIT CARD HAS BEEN BLOCKED TO AVOID MISUSE. from the begining i have not defaulted any payment till today and also in the month of june entire outstanding is been cleared in one installment.Therefore i request you kindly restore the credit card immediately and oblige. Further in this regard i have requested above the same through e-mail but so far no action was taken in this regard.

    on 18.07.2010 at 7.05 P.M. used my ATM for getting balance inquiry its shows correctly as per my passbook but on 7.19 P.M. I used same balance enquiry where it shows Rs. 7,000/- has been withdrawl after going through the procedure such lodge a GD at the local p.s. and contacting branch manager but no heed pay in this matter.

    My name is Rupinder Singh. My accpunt number is[protected]. My Card Number is [protected]. I withdrew Rs.10, 000 but the slip shows balance ai if the withdrawl is Rs. 20, 000.
    Prior to withdrawl the balance was Rs. 72, 000, I withdrew Rs. 10, 000 and the slip showed Rs. 52, 000 as balance instead of Rs. 62, 000.

      i am having credit card no.[protected]. I am not received the statement by post I am receiving sms on my mobile. Today I received the sms that if you have not received the statement kindly sms the code. Since two month I am not receiving the statement and I am sms to 56767 the pin but the reback reply that sent the correct PIN. Kindly dispatch the bill immediately and the card is not activated since the receipt of my card.

        My name is Reghunathan.T.S
        Made an enquiry for SBI rail card.
        Self received a call from [protected] today morning from your Executive and stated that You will charge Rs.500/- for the first year and from second year onwards I will have to pay Rs.300/- only for which I also agreed.

        Today (04.08.2010) afternoon your executive from Chennai came to my office and collected all the required documents.

        But to my surprise I got a call from[protected] today evening and your Executive informed me that i have to pay Rs.49/- per month in addition to the annual charges, whih is a new information to me.

        Why each Executive is giving different informatio making the customer misguiding.

        Hope you will action on Staff giving faluse information.

        Even no acknowledgement of application is given to me; Hence I am not able to give the application referance number to you

        Awaiting to hear to proceed further.

              Subject: Arbitrary EMI Recovery on SBI Home Loan
              Reference Loan Account No[protected]

              Dear Sir,

              1. It is to bring to your kind information that I have obtained a SBI Housing loan of Rs 35,00,000/ (Thirty five lakhs only) vide Arrangement letter- SBI Home Loan dated 26.03.2009 (Loan account No[protected]. My home Branch is SBI Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, New Delhi.

              2. At the time of loan sanction, the EMI for the first year was fixed at 8% i.e. 36001/ and it was expected to be revised from May 2010 in accordance to the prevailing State Bank Advance Rate under the clause as specified in para 4(b) of the arrangement letter. However, the revised EMI by SBI has been enhanced arbitrarily to Rs 41,154/ w.e.f May 2010 and the recovery of the same has commenced w.e.f 20th May 2010. (Statement of linked SBI SB account No[protected] attached as annexure 1)

              3. The matter was brought to the notice of Shri Sagar Sharma, Branch Head of my Home Branch at Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan New Delhi. While the matter was under discussion, SBI RACPC deducted second EMI in the same month on 27th May 2010 (refer attached loan account statement as annexure 2). Aggrieved with the financial situation, I visited RACPC on 7th Jun 10 and inquired about the incorrect EMI calculation and also double deduction of EMI in the same the month. Inspite of having spent half a day in the bank, I was not provided with any reasonable response to my complaint and was told by the dealing officer “not to expect anything favourable from Bank as they have no time to attend to complaints”.

              4. Having failed to get any response from RACPC, I had approached Mr Sagar Sharma and he advised me to e-mail the issue of incorrect EMI for taking the up matter with RACPC. Accordingly, a complaint was sent to the Branch Manager on 09 Jun 2010 followed by another on 30 Jun 2010. Copies of my complaints are attached as annexure 3.

              5. I have pursued my case with Shri Sagar Sharma continuously for a period of 08 weeks; however, neither have I got any relief in the matter nor was any justification given for exceptionally high interest rate on my home loan.


              Finally in response to my SMS dated 30 Jul 2010 on his mobile No [protected], I received a reply from Shri Sagar Sharma, Branch Manager SBI which is reproduced for your information please.
              “Sir,
              As discussed before i had forwarded the case to RACPC, New Delhi, headed by AGM. Whatever follow up that had to be done
              from my end i hve done,rest is not under my control. I am sorry
              for the inconvenience caused but discussing the same thing again & again with me can bear no fruit.

              6. It is obvious that the new EMI (Rs 41,154/) is calculated contrary to the latest guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank India vide its circular number RBI/2009-1-/390 dated 09.04.2010 under reference DBOD No. Dir. BC 88/13.03.00/2009-10 addressed to all Schedule Banks on the guideline on abolishing BPLR system and implementing Base Rates for the calculation of Interest on loans. Under the para xi of the ibid RBI Circular on Transitional issues, I am eligible for the revised EMI calculated against the base rates.

              7. I am a retired Army Officer and have done recognizable service to the Nation. I am a Gallantry Award Winner and have risked my life several times for the safety & security of the people of this country. I am deeply hurt to witness this thankless attitude of SBI RACPC New Delhi and strongly condemn their conduct. It is astounding to see that in a country which is having growth rate of 8.5%, there are such incompetent and insensitive bank officials paid out of public money.

              8. I consider this arbitrary increase of rate of interest on loan as an unfair practice adopted by the State Bank India in the shadow of non transparency. It is therefore, I have lost faith in the systems which have been adopted by the State Bank of India for Indian customers and would strongly consider moving out my balance liability of home loan for takeover by any other better Nationalised Bank.

              9. In view of the aforesaid, it is requested that the case may please be inquired to bring out the details o[censored]nfair play in fixing new EMI on my home loan. It is also requested that the case may kindly be redressed within 10 day of the receipt of this letter positively by 14th of Aug 2010 failing which I would be constrained to seek legal intervention from The Reserve Bank of India.

                Well I was robbed on a train to Delhi and have a bank account with SBI in Bangalore. I was told that unless I have my account number or card number the contact centre would not be able to assist. Well I am in Delhi with my bank account in a Bangalore Branch. I have no money, no phone, no bag (which means no card or account details). Am I expected to sprout wings fly to Bangalore and get my card and account details so that I may then PHONE SBI and inform them to block my account transactions!!! Whats the point in having a contact centre at all if they are not able to assist in times of dire need??

                SBI — inability to use the card

                Why i am not able to make mayment for rail ticket through my card.
                I lost my sbi atm card dated on 1st aug, 2009 around 5 pm from bigbazar shopping complex while shopping at kolkata (baguihati). In this connection I already blocked my card through customer care and lodged a comlain to local police srtation. Will be highly appreciated if you can isuue a new card to my following addrress...

                  just like the ONE ABOVE ,in a year this SBI -STATE BANK OF INDIA POSTED MANY ADVERTISEMENTS BY LURING THE YOUNG ENGINEERS LIKE ME to loose the MONEY .What these banks are doing is ,ONCE AFTER THE FINAL DECISION OF THE CANDIDATES FOR THE PARTICULAR POST ,they GIVING THE ADVERTISEMENTS IN NEWPAPERS ,DAILIES,WEBSITES.Their plan if ,especially the SBI -CHIEF plan is AS a bank give loans to Business People with out security ,anyway they are not going to pay back ,AND FIND A WAY TO SORT THESE OUT by giving advertise like this ABOVE.So they asking 500rs for every candidates other than SC/ST,however persons like me fall on bc category ,have to pay 500RS for the registeration and they send out the hall ticket ,exams will happen.Thats it ,,end of story ..you people wont get any reply back from them ..like wot happened to your exams,or your exam results.
                  IS THERE ANY TRANSPARENCY IN THOSE EXAMS ,SAY like the one in all india competitive exams.Why cant they post the every single candidates marks ,what they scored in from the written exams..(u know wot they never do this,if they do so ,they have to answer many many a persons LIKE ME..)..They know that how to srew MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE,especially technically qualified professinals like me..
                  So WHAT I SUGGEST IS THERE HAVE TO A WATCHDOG-LIKE THE ONe what it is already there in europe and america.So better we can even report to them ,LIKE THESE THINGS..
                  However ,till now ,THE DATED REPORTS OF SBI -STATE BANK OF INDIA ,SAYS THAT THE BUSINESS PEOPLE ,WHO GOT THE LOANS FROM BANK have to pay them back over 400/500 crores alone.Anyway those SHADY BAS***** not going to pay the bank back,thats why the BANK CHIEF ,knows how to sort these out ,thats why with in a year THE ADVERTISEMENT LIKE THIS ,GOT collected atleast 50 to 60 crores indian rupees with out hastle by the name of JOB OFFER .So now you can guess !!!! whats the difference between the other private companies who were cheating the professionals by collecting the advance payments like THESE!!!!!!!!!

                  So better PROFESSIONALS STAY OFF FROM THESE ADVERTISEMENT SAYING PAY JUST ..JUST ..(500 RS ) for exam fees /..why cant they do it free for every one ...........if they really desperate for professionals ..why cant they do it FREE EXAMS for the JOBS and better release the marks scored by every single candidates ...FULL TRANSPARENCY ..at any cost they wont do it..
                  BETTER STAY OFF FROM THESE THINGS ESPECIALLY THE NATIONALISED BANK -STATE BANK OF INDIA ..AND OTHER NATIONALISED BANKS...

                  I was recharging my Dish TV account through www.dishtv.in online recharge services but my trasaction wa failed and when i have taken mini statement of my sbi account it's showing 270 rupees less from my available balance and it's showing POS PRCH how can i get my money back in my account please do needful

                      This is regrading the mental harrasssment and threatning calls from SBI credit card recovery people.I am paying my regular minimum due towards SBI credit card, but even at slight delay in payment, the recovery agents are harassing by continously calling me.This is really getting irksome, irritating and disturbing to my family.
                      Please look into this issue and provide the necessary procedure to avoid this problem.

                      It is happening with me too. They really are creating troubles. I am getting calls n number of times in a day, even if we give some updates that we will pay at xyz date etc. When we oppose or show our frustration about this to them, they ask very unprofessionally "To aapko samajhna chahiye na ki due date se pehle payment karna chahiye, payment nahi karoge to call karenge hi karenge". I believe some day they will even show their shamelessness by start giving slangs. Considering their overall nature, I think they can also go to court and ask to hang us... VERY VERY VERY FRUSTRATING

                        Refer to below pasted letter cheque of Rs 770.00 were released from my end and that was confirmed by SBI officer we will release NO DUE LETTER .

                        Also to update Compliant to that effect also has been send to SBI Vice President office Mr Ajay Bharti , seems he is also not go thru the submitted complaint . After that several correspondence letter were send from my end but till date nobody bother to take initiative to check the facts and close this long pending issue.

                        Also to share " Till Today " my self is getting telephonic calls from SBI TEAM for settlement and as per them amount has been come up approx.
                        Rs 11000.00 due to late payment charges levied by the SBI without checking the facts.

                        Request you please look into and arrange to close this also arrange to release NO DUE LETTER and also advice your team not to call in this regard.

                        This is reference to statement Received dated 08.01.08 in which total
                        amount DUE were showing for Rs 4734..26 And May month Statement received dated 08.05.08 Amount DUE showing Rs 3535.90.

                        For Your Information in JAN.08 month Cash loan on Phone for Rs 30,000.00
                        offered for which EMI amount confirmed by Telecaller executive Rs 2900 approx. for 12 Months over phone , on that EMI amount only Cash loan offer were accepted by me over phone.

                        When pay order for Rs 30000.00 were received that was containing Covering
                        letter in which amount of EMI were mentioned for Rs 4370.00
                        for 12 Months Interest Rate Rs 14 %.

                        As amount of EMI confirmed for Rs 2900.00 and on letter received EMI amount
                        mentioned for Rs 4370.00 . In difference of amount in EMI pay order for Rs 30000.00 NOT taken by me and returned to SBI BANK duly CANCELLED marked on the same as per discussion had with SBI officer.

                        The update for Cancellation of issued Pay order that was informed to your
                        Customer care & Fraud Department team as well over phone In the Month of
                        JAN.08 only on receipt of pay order.

                        Also due to NON payment for Rs 30000.00 EMI , Late Fees also Debited in
                        the Feb.08 onwards statement where as pay order no taken by me and Credit
                        of Cancelled Pay order of Rs 30000.00 given in the statement dated 08.05.08
                        only after regular follow up at my end.

                        As regular follow in this regard after telephonic discussion with SBI Officer amount of Rs 770.00 were confirmed by them for total due amount as DD amount and other charges related to this were taken care by SBI team and also updated that NO DUE LETTER would be released upon receive of cheque of Rs 770.00 .

                        Hence accordingly payment were released vide Chq No 308951 dated 20.05.08 for Rs 770.00 as per confirmation given/received during telephonic discussion with Customer care officer as a Full & Final payment for card amount DUE.

                        As mentioned above cheque has been released and said cheque also has been cleared from my Bank, but NO DUE LETTER which were confirmed same is still not received my end. Also getting statement along with late payment

                        Please look into and arrange to credit amount which has been Debited Due to
                        amount charged for CASH LOAN OFFER and THE INTEREST and LATE PAYMENT CHARGES in Next statement.

                        Looking for your revert in this regard.

                            Sub: ATM mall functioning during Cash With drawl – Cash not disbursed - debited from my Savings bank account complaint regarding:

                            I have savings bank salary account in your branch with account No [protected]. On 02.04.2011 at 12.58 hrs I have withdrawn an amount of Rs15, 000/- from the ATM (ID NOS10A[protected] located at NRSC (National Remote Sensing Centre) Balanagar campus and the cash was disbursed.
                            At the same ATM, Soon after completion of first transaction, I tried for Rs15, 000/- withdrawal second time. During the machine counting time the power went off abruptly and the cash was not disbursed. I notice that there was no back up power to that ATM machine. I waited there for some time and rushed to SBI, NRSC campus branch, reported the problem. They said since the account is at Secunderabad branch asked to me to complain at Secunderabad branch.
                            Then immediately I rushed to Secuderabad, SBI main branch from Balanagar and gave the letter of complaint to the ATM officer Mr.Mohan at 13.45 hrs on the same day. Also I called and phoned up to the Toll free no[protected] and booked the complaint through Mr.Harshavardan .The complaint number has been registered as AT[protected].
                            Now I observe in my account the Rs15000/- has been debited and it is not reverted back even though the cash is not disbursed by the ATM machine. Since Sunday & Monday are the closed holidays, I could not do any communication with the bank. Hence I request you to kindly arrange to revert and credit to my account the debited Rs15000/- which is causing much of mental agony for no fault of me.

                              SBI is bank Run on reputation !! its hard to digest illegal loan money recovery from illetrate wife of dead husband ..even though she does not comes into picture ..rude & dada giri behaviour of bank manager & still no action has been taken by higher authority

                              Smt. Kusum Devi (complainant), W/O Late Sunil Singh stays at the above mentioned address with her two sons and a daughter. Her husband died on 10th Sep’2008. He was an employee of Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. She had opened the SB A/C account after 6 months of her husband’s death. The opposite party, State Bank of India, Talcher debited the entire saving (Rs. 3,83,000/-) of Smt. Kusum Devi from her saving bank account without authorization on the pretext that her husband had taken personal loan. The complainant was not a co-borrower in the loan agreement.

                                I withdraw 20,000 from SBI Bank ATM in Ghandhi Nagar, Near Jawhar Nagar, Hyderabad branch and next day morning I draw 6,000 from HDFC Bank ATM, Musheerabad and when i went to diposit in HDFC bank there the cashier said that one of your 500 note is stamped as fake note. Then i said that i withdraw the money from the ATM's only why should i get this fake note, He answered me like no fake notes come from our HDFC bank and I checked with SBI also they said we cannot do any thing with this issue. So my question is how to complaint on this issue, and where to complaint and who are all involved in this fraud.
                                Definatly some one should take responsible for this fake currency. A common man can not identified or in hurry he can not check with the notes come from the ATM's are fake or not. If the cases increased then no body do transactions from ATM.

                                I also have same incidence on 29/04/2011 i received very dirty note of Rs 1000 from ATM Mandleshwar branch & bank assistant manager Vrindavan Mahajan refused & telling lie that we don't pace such notes in the Machine. I made complaint at customer care service ([protected]) & got assurance that bank will replace this note after one week. i am very sad by this incidence & bankers attitude towards there customers.
                                MY FRIEND WITHDREW SOME AMOUNT FROM ICICI BANK AND GAVE IT TO ME. AFTERWARDS I WENT TO DEPOSIT IT IN SBI DUM DUM, KOLKATA ON 26/07/2014 BUT THEY TOLD ME THERE IS FAKE RS500 NOTE IN IT BUT DID NOT DISCLOSE WHY IT IS FAKE. THEN THEY TORE THE NOTE IN HALF AND WROTE FORGE. OK I UNDERSTAND THE NORMS BUT WHY DID NOT THEY DISCLOSE THE REASON. AND WHERE HAS MY MONEY GONE?WE PEOPLE HAVE TO EARN IT AND THEY ARE JUST TEARING IT APART LIKE NOTHING. I FELT VERY SAD AND ANGRY. REGARDLESS I LOST MY MONEY THEY WERE YELLING AT ME AND TELLING ME YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED IT. HOW SHOULD A COMMON PERSON CHECK THE GENUINENESS OF A NOTE?? I MONEY JUST VANISHED IN THE DIRT.

Since then I had given at least 4 applications for my internet access for account but everytime when I tried to confirm - I got reply that your application was not recieved.
                                  Whenevr I visted to brabch its always chaos, crowded & no help at all.
                                  At last I closed my account there . Good Bye SBI Indirapuram.

                                    This is Namrata Jain having SB A/C No. [protected] with State Bank of India Branch Indira Nagar Kanpur. I had made two POS PRCH transactions each of Rs 5139.00 on 31.01.2010. Both the transcatios failed. Refund of one transaction bearing RE. No.[protected] get creditted to my above said SB A/C on 10.02.2010. However the refund of other entry Re. No.[protected] is still awaited.
                                    In this connection I had booked a complaint to SBI Helpline Lucknow (Complaint Ticket No. CC[protected]. They suggested that I must lodge the application for fefund at Home Branch. Accordingly I did the same. Furthur Branch Manager SBI Indira Nagar, Kanpur BRCD - 06824 forwarded my case on 16.03.2010 and on 13.04.2010. further I had also booked my complaint through email and fax on 17.06.2010 to Chairmen SBI, Customer service dept., Mumbai
                                    But still I am waiting for reversal of entry i.e. Rs. 5139.00

                                      I recently obtained in SBI Platinum Card and also gave them auto debit facility. I knew about this fraud of adding up insurance from the net. I instructed the agent clearly not to add insurance and also during verification I informed the person the same. To my surprise in the first statement they have added this . Though I lodged the complaint online no one cared to respond. I informed the agent but the statement has not been reversed. The bottom line is THE FRAUD CONTINUES !! . I wish I were in India to drag them to the court on their knees

                                        I have been sanctioned housing loan of Rs-20.29 Lacs to purchase a flat at Ranchi.
                                        02. I am working in Central Industrial Security Force (Under ministry of Home Affairs, Govt.Of India) (An Armed Force of the Union) and presently attached at CISF Hqrs, Patna. I have got a Circular issued from Directorate CISF Force Hqrs New Delhi vide letter No- F-15018/Cell Bank/Bill/2004-05/565 dated-22.07.2005(Xerox enclosed), stating that any member of the force taking housing loan from SBI will be entitled for 0.25% concessional rate of interest as well as waive from processing charge as per defence service package.

                                        03. In this regard I have submitted an application address to AGM, RACPC patna on 26.04.2010 but no positive response received till date .I also submitted an application address to GM, SBI Local Head office patna on June-2010 but no positive response received till date .


                                        04. I therefore request you that please allow giving me 0.25 % Concessional interest as per circular and waive of Rs.5000/- as processing fee.
