Hi,

I had got a call from SBI for a card saying since I am working for company "X". I get a card with no fees or payment.

I accepted the same, got a call a few weeks later saying I'll have to pay Rs. 500 as joining, so I told them no.

Inspite of doing so I have been issued a card and have been getting bills for the same.
in the first bill I have already been charged some GST debit for current Statement, have never used the card.

I called the company, I was told some one will get back, no one did.
I wrote a mail, got a reply with a ref no. and lost more servives and offers, mail enclosed below.

Its been a month from that and i have not got a reply.

I am very disappointed with the service with the Credit Card Division of your bank.

I was called by one of your promoting agencies and was told that, being an employee of company ‘x’ I am eligible for a SBI gold card which has no fees for life.

I accepted the offer and asked the company to send some to collect the details required.

The details were taken and the necessary documents were taken, after a few days I got a confirmation call. The person on the other side informed me that I was suppose to pay a annual fee of Rs. 500 if I don’t make a purchase of Rs. 50,000/ every year. I immediately asked them to cancel the card.

To which the card has been sent, two weeks back (18/9/09) I called the call center for cancelation of the card and I was told that someone will be calling me for the same. I have not yet got any call and have started getting the statements and reminders for paying the bill for an unused card.

I was also not told that there will be a joining fee of Rs. 500.

I want this card canceled immediately.

I am marking this mail to the RBI so that they know how the agents forcibly sell card and fool people to make sales.

    I was looted by this offer too, the scratch card declared me as the winner of Sandiego Polo club Wrist watch SR, I thought lets get it, only catch was pay Rs 500 towards some handling charges. I got the watch delivered in 45 days but what a shock of life SBI gave me. It was a Rs.10 watch whose minute & second hands were broken inside the watch & the clip of band was too broken. I am not worried of the money lost, but the trust & faith that was put to stake by SBI by using this cheap gimmick on we the sucker patrons. I am sure SBI is not much aware of this & should immediately look into this & help the duping of Innocent customers.

    I am also trapped by same gimmick. SBI should take some action. This is not acceptable, SBI must know this. This offers are comming via there source. They are circulating the offer with monthly statement.

    This is SBI's resposibilty that they should verify the article before sending to thier customer. I don't know what happened to those who got the other goods.

    I don't think this message will be read by SBI people.

    So now I have been sent a 2nd watch of same cost, so that I shutout on this Issue. I giveup on this shrewd modus operandi,

    In the end for them it was a expenditure of Rs. 20, but still to collect a booty of Rs. 480 from lacs of customers accumulates crores. I simply giveup on this,
    My mother owns an SBI credit card and she received a scratch card coupon from them.Upon scratching the coupon she came to now that she had won a San Diego Polo Club wrist watch worth Rs.3999.Upon calling the SBI executives she was told that the watch would be delivered to my house, after charging a freight charge of only Rs.500, which was indeed a very cheap gimmick by the SBI.When I received the watch I found that the not even worth Rs.100 and added to that, the watch was not in working condition and also one of the dial needles were bent. Now the credibility of SBI is at stake for having associated with such cheap rated companies.So the SBI has to take responsibilty for promoting such cheap quality items to people.I request the SBI authorities to take stern action on such people and arrange for a replacement of the same.

          always throws invalid password and user name

          i applied for internet banking account on 17/10/2009 . I got id and password on same day from bank. they said that account wll be activated within 2 days but still i am waiting for it.
          whenever i try to login on onlinesbi.com it says invalid username and password. sir please solve lt

              To The branch manager state bank of india branch-belthra road situated at belthera road balia Subject:-about the information related to the services of crop loan,kisan credit card under the RIGHT TO INFORMATION act 2005. sir, I Anand nath tiwari on the behalf of people of village narla,post-haldirampur,distt-balia want to bring your attention to the following point. our loan has been relieved under prime minister loan relief schem.when we applied for new loans then the referred officer's behaviour was inappropriate in following ways:- 1)he told us that our loans had been relieved 2)though i am a customer of the bank, i was asked for photo id,address proof and KHATAUNI-KHASRA 3)after providing the above stated documents,he sent a junior officer for survey of the authenticity of our documents and asked us to come to the bank after an authorised lawyer confirms to our documents(khatauni) for which we were assured to be informed when done 4)after repeated visits, the officer finally agreed to our documents and us to come and sign on the loan papers 5)we were made to sign some forms and blank stamp papers in the loan department situated on upper floor and were told that the forms would be filled later 6)even after 5 months from the signing of papers,we were told to come later for which they made an excuse of their busy schedule 7)and finally the officer refused to recommend any agriculture loan for the revenue village haldirampur,narla etc. with the verbal remarks that the village falls under chakbandi and there is no notification of dhara 52 under these circumstances I demand following information from your side. (a)has the village been excluded from the benefits of crop loan,kisan credit card? if yes then from which date and under what orders. please provide a copy of the circular b)what have been the reasons and circumstances due to which the applicant been devoid of the loan? (c)how were the loans provide int the haldirampur village while the chakbandi process?
              (d)was the information about denial or sanction of loan was sent to the applicant?if yes, provide a copy of the same.                 On[protected] i withdrew 20,000 rupees from atm in bhopal.but instead of 20,000 rupees only 13,000 rupees

                  Respected Sir/Madam,
                  This is to bring to your attention the sluggish, unprofessional and rude behaviour of employees of State Bank of India, Modi Nagar Branch towards its customers.
                  I have opened a saving bank account 3 years before, whenever I visit to the bank for any work (i.e. either it is related to net banking facilities or for the request of a new Cheque Book) they have asked me to come next day

                  Generally I found half of the counters are always closed or if open then they had mile long queues infront of them. Added to that the staff behind the counters left their desks at regular intervals of a few minutes for “refreshments”.
                  And if we need any information from them they (Specially Mr. Dinesh Kumar) always answer very rudely.
                  I have never found any manager in his seat.

                  After getting so much harassment and mental torture I have closed my account which was itself a mental torture for me as it took 2-3 days on the name of process.

Please call one of our customer service representative at[protected]." When I called your customer care, they said that the payment has not been received and hence no booking has been made. The customer care agent asked me to write an email to this address with my transaction details to get my money refunded after verification. Please make sure that my money is refunded as soon as possible.

                    Student/IIT MADRAS — Redirect problem after making payment

                    Hello,

                    Today (08/05/2009) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on yeswantpur express from chennai to bangalore on 9/5/2009 for myself. Unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

                    This is really embarrasing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount.

                    Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

                      I have submitted all the papers/documents for opening of a trading account with SBICAPSEC on the 6th Oct 2009 and from 19th Oct 2009 started sending a mail on a daily basis to [protected]@sbicapsec.com to enquire the status of my application. But not even a sytem generated acknowledgement mail was sent. A cmplaint was also lodged to [protected]@sbicapsec.com. Only on 24th Oct the company sent a mail (the usual system generated mail) but no concrete commitment as to when they would resolve the issue. The TAT (turn around time) for other companies in the same line of business is max of 10 days. I now, for the benefit of unsuspecting victims of SBICAPSEC, advise all prospective clients to avoid this company.

                        Hi,
                        I am totally disappointed and frustraited by the customer services extended for SBI Credit card Customer care. I am a SBI credit card holder (Card no [protected]), and even before I started using the card an SMS informed me that a bill of Rs 275.75/- is due on my card. I called the customer care no 39 02 02 02 and the automated response system increased my frustration. It did not allow to interact with any of customer care representatives. After verification it only gave two option of 0 and 1. The 1 option was not working and there was no option to talk to custimer care executives. I called up the no for 5 times and the result was same. Then I called up the lost card option and requested the representative to guide me to the currect department, he did guide me to the automated response which I was trying for such a long time and no action was taken to solve my queries.

                        I am wondering is this the manner in which SBI Credit card division treats its customers ? Is this the procedure not to allow customers to directly interact with Customer care Exc and keep them puzzled with unwanted IVR system options ?

                        I am making one thing very clear, I am not going to make any payments untill and unless all my queries are answered. Please do the needful to update your customer care system. Also be aware of the fact that with this quality of services that you are extending to your customers will not keep SBI among the forerunners in the banking sectors to claim that it has the so called largest banking network in India.

                        FYI : I am going to circulate this mail to all my well wishers so that they don't fall in the trap of SBI Credit card.

                            I am an SBI customer with account no.-[protected] since november 2008 from Technopark branch.But presently working and staying in new delhi.

                            On 16th of march 2009 a debit sweep of rs 18000 was made from my account no. to deposit account no.-[protected].This deposit account is not showing up in my deposit account list in internet banking.I think this deposit account is virtually non existent and my 18000 rupees...

                            You Were Trying To Use sbidebitcard Payment Gateway And The Transaction CouldNot Proceed Due To PY20006-Invalid Brand..
                            this error is coming up when i tried to pay through my sbi debit card.
                            what should i do?

                              i having demat ac. with sbi ...ac. no . ESI90219....I GETTING problem in funt lien . when i trying to do FUND LIEN .its coming like e broking registration is not available. thats why i m not able to do online trading i have this problem from starting when i opened new account.

                              I tried sending 5 or 6 mail for 2 weeks to fix this problem, there is no response let alone solving the problem. I called mumbai office and already spent 300rs on calls, no use. My sincere advice is to open Demat with private brokers a they atleast give u response as your important to them unlike govt sector. I want to escalte this problem to SBI, but couldn't find any details.

                              Ask for damages and the damages should be deducted from the salary of the officer responsible for delay as per Hon. Supreme Court Order: JT 1993(3)-SC-33 (non-vicaracious liability).

                                Dear Sir/madam,
                                My son had taken an educational loan from State Bank of India, Main Branch, Palghat for his MCA course with self and wife as co-applicants. Now the loan is about to close by next month. For your information, we had taken an amount of approximately 1.6 lakhs in 3 instalments spreading over 3 years. An amount of about 2.3 lakhs (approx) had already been repaid by us. According to the bank officials, still we have to pay still Rs. 50685. kindly give your valuable suggestion to the following

                                1. Is it possible to get any deduction from of the balance amount. If so to whom should I approach?
                                2. According to the news paper reports, Central Govt had decided to write off the interest of the education loan – during the period of study. Will it be applicable in this case. When approached AGM it was told by him, that they didn’t receive any official orders regarding this.
                                Kindly give your valuable advice in this matter.

                                  we are working in bangalore recently my company announced opening salary account for sbi bank.my office near one brach office is there now going asking the procedure they not respectly speaking after five day again go to bank submit the proof every thing is correct even address proof and working address and all document.but that bank people not accepted.it will take long time i book online complaient no respons.that bank manager also not respectly speaking.if i go he will angry what to do.

                                    I had lost my SBI ATM/Debit card on July 2005 after which I filed a GD in nearest police station and submitted a written letter to my branch informing the loss of card and also applied for a new ATM/Debit card. After 4 years, that lost card is still active. SBI did not deactivate my card as of yet. Charges for the same is still being taken off my savings account.

                                    Now comes the most dreadful illegal side of State Bank of India. After card loss and application for a new card, they issued me a fresh ATM/Debit card. SO, now I have 2 Active ATM/Debit cards in the same account and in the same name. SBI is taking charges for 2 active cards from my account.

                                    I visited branch many times, they only ask me to call at the cards division since they say that branch cannot deactivate any card: why didn't they tell me about this when I submitted the complaint with GD? The branch is of no use - they didn't tell me while I filed the complaint. Now after repeated calls to cards division which is at another city, they're asking me who can we verify you? God! How to handle this dreadful illegal aspects of SBI?

                                    Is it legal to issue another card to a customer in the same name and same account? My account is with State Bank of India Southern Avenue Branch in Kolkata (branch code is 1505), they completely failed to help me in this issue. My lost card is still active (no loss of funds, thank God) but I am paying for 2 ATM cards. How many more years do I have to keep paying for this fault of SBI's?

                                      I Sukumar Subba serving in CRPF presently in Jammu and Kashmir have a savings account ([protected]) with SBI HASIMARA code no-1447 dist- Jalpai guri, West bengal

                                      I heve used Jammu and Kashmir Bank ATM dated 21/11/2008 at about 1050 HRS for withdrawal of Rs.5000/-, I tried to do the transaction for only 1 time but did not happen. But when I checked my bank statement Rs. 5000/- was debited out of my account.

                                      Suddenly I approach the nearest J & K bank and inform the same, they advise me to contact with my SBI Branch. Then I complained to my SBI branch on 26/11/2008 and I also met with SBI branch manager Hasimara on february 2009 during My Leave,after this SBI Hasimara delivered a letter addressing to J&K Bank Branch SKIMS SOURA SRINAGAR J&K dated 03/03/2009 for verifying cash in their ATM and remit excess cash tas credit in my account.
                                      But J&K Bank refuses to this and inform SBI Hasimara for contact with NFS (National Finance Switch) for settlement of disputed ATM txn vide thier letter No JKB/SKIMSS/MISC/2009-447 dated 21/03/2009.
                                      Both J&K Bank and SBI agree that a mistake has been done from their side, but no one is helping me out & blaming each other for mistake.
                                      I have running from post to post and contact telephonic ally to get the matter resolved but nothing has happened till date.
                                      SBI not responding about this matter after its occurs more than 11 months.

                                      I am serving for the Nation in the High sensitive areas of Jammu and Kashmir so I may not get time for complaining again and again.
                                      So I humbly request you to look into the matter and take action for back my money.
