Sir,
This is to bring to your kind notice that the undersigned had deposited Rs.45,000/- in my Saving A/c No.[protected] on 8th September 09. I had withdrawn Rs.25,000/- through ATM in Sector-26, Branch. On 9.9.09, when I went to withdraw Rs.20,000/- from ATM near Reliance Energy Office at Sector-24, Noida, i had given the commands through the ATM for withdrawing Rs.20,000/-. After waiting for 2-3 minutes, when the money did not come out from the ATM, I had given cancellation command but the ATM did not respond. Since I needed the money, I rushed to the Sector-26 ATM but there I was given a slip throgh the ATM that there were insufficient funds. I was shocked to know this. Then today, i.e., on 10.9.09 I went to the Branch at Sector26, I was informed by the concerned employee that I had to bring my Pass Book and then only they can clarify where the money has gone.
In my wife (Mrs. Kiran Garg's) account, i was told that only Rs.3,000/- are left whereas the status is as follows (as on 8.09.09)
Earlier deposited money Rs.5,000/-
FDR Deposit Rs.1,10,000/-
So the total amount = Rs.1,15,000/- I got shifted Rs.45,000/- from Mrs. Kiran Garg's account [protected] to my SB A/C[protected] and again on 9.9.09, I got Rs.25,000/- from my wife's a/c. Now i am told that the net amount in my wife's account is only Rs.300/- So my wife's a/c is fully reconciled while in my account, from earlier Rs.45000/- I had withdrawn only Rs.25,000/-. So there is a net loss of Rs.20,000/- to me because of your Reliance Energy, Sector-24 ATM. Since I had given the command of withdrawing Rs.20,000/- so there are two possibilities either the amount did not come out or the amount came out after i left which may have been taken by some customer who came later.
You are requested to kindly see to it where my money has gone so that I do not have to incur this unnecessary loss.

State Bank of India / Debit Card — Providing credit ased debit card
The following in quotes was my complaint to SBI:"Sir,
With due respect I would like to inform you that I found rs800 short from my savings
bank A/C when I withdrew rs300 from ATM with ID S1AN00024101 at 15:12hrs on 03/30/08. As per
the best of my knowledge there was rs1340.80 left in my A/C after I withdrew rs300 from the
same ATM at 18:29hrs on 03/28/08. Moreover on updating my passbook I found that on
29/03/2008 rs800 have been debited from my A/C.
There after when I gave a written complaint to the branch about the same, they just
provided the description about the same on my comlaint letter without any statement or so.
They stated that "Amount rs800 withdraw through ATM disbersed but not debited in the A/C.
As per report the amount has been adjusted on 29/03/08".
Now my question is this that, what the bank authority will say do I have to follow?
There is no mention from where or which ATM, on which date or at which time I withdrew
rs800. Moreover I would be very happy to know that wheather SBI is offering its customers
credit based debit cards? That you withdraw money at a certain time and SBI will debit the
same after sometime or days or weeks. I am also paying annual ATM charge for using the same
service, so why should I face the problem? Instead of taking annual ATM charges you take interest
same as credit cards.
Now the bottomline is I need a detail description of my all transactions and why
rs800 was deducted from my A/C without any prior intimation.

The above mentioned complaint was made 4 times:
1. In written to the branch i.e. Chittaranjan

3. And once at "sbihelpline.[protected]@sbi.co.in"
But very sadly from no where I got response and this is going on from last 1 month.
