I have applied for a flat under CHB(Chandigarh Housing Board) scheme in sector 63, Chandigarh.The Initial amount was financed by SBI-Sector, 10, Panchkula-Haryana.The amount of interest and documentation charges are paid in advance in cash at the time of filling application.SBI has aslo taken two cheques in favour of SBI, in addition to the other documents to finance the initial application money.
My application does not come under the successful applicant.
In the month of december'2008 a cheque was presented in my saving account of South India Bank, sector 20, Panchkula Branch charging me Rs.1896/- as interest.
We enquired from SBI, sector-10, Panchkula branch and we were told that this amount relates to the interest for the amount financed.When we further enquired they said that their has been delay in getting refund for the initial deposit paid on your behalf to chandigarh Housing board and this is an amount of interest for that period.
SBI also informed us that we did not inform applicants about presentation of these cheques as some of the applicants who were informed have intentionally stopped payment of these cheques.
We were never told about this hidden interest cost at the time of application.
SBI told us to approach CHB for the refund of this interest.I CHB no one has clue about this.
we approached many times SBI to help us to get refund of this interest but their is no one to help us.
please help us to get the refund of this amount of interest wrongly charged by SBI, Sector-10, panchkula Rs.1896/-.

tata sbi credit card — bill not sent by them
i have used the tata sbi card for last one year but they have not send the bill on time and so many times ringup for payment of bill. i personally contact their help desk as well as there head office at delhi but they do not take any action unless a phone call for payment of bill. i am not understand what is the hidden reason behind for not sending the bill on time.
