Sub:- Complaint regarding dishonouring of my cheque on the ground of Insufficient of Fund - reg.

Madam,

I am maintaining a S/B A/c No. [protected] (with auto sweep facility) with your branch in which my salary, other allowances & arrears are being deposited by CBI/Special Unit/New Delhi, (where I am working as Inspector) in SBI/CGO Complex Branch, New Delhi from time to time.

As on 10.12.2008, I was having a net credit balance of over Rs. 80, 000/-, even then a Cheque No. 666654 dated 10.12.2008 issued in favour of LIC for Rs. 1130.80 only has been dishonoured by your staff. Not only this, an amount of Rs. 75/- has also been deducted from my account on account of dishonouring of my cheque. (Ref.No. of Dish.Ch. is 57662 dated 10.12.2008).

Apart from above, LIC, Modi Nagar has also imposed a panelty of Rs. 125/- on me. In this way, I am in loss of Rs. 200/- for no fault on my side, as I was having more than sufficient fund.

In view of above, it is requested that necessary action in this regard may be taken and loss of Rs. 200/- may be compensated because I am not on any fault.

I am having my saving bank Account with account number [protected] at chennai(.) Presently i am at jammu(.) On 6th of june i tried my ATM card to withdraw Rupees 2000/- somehow that SBI ATM machine(Trikuta Nagar and Asia ) was not working then i tried three J&k bank ATM( Trikuta nagar, Nanak nagar, and food junction prade )and IDBI ATM (Gandhi Nagar) and insert the same amount for transction but all of them displayed the message that ATM is unable to process this transction so on that day (6/6/2009) i was unable to withdraw any amount from any ATM machine(.)

Sir next day (7/6/2009) i went to my SBI ATM and operated my ATM card for the transction of Rupees 3500/- and got Rupees 3500/- (.) when i checked my mini statenment i came to know that Rupees 2000/-of yesterdays (6/6/2009) transction has been deducted from my account on 6/6/2009 which i could not receive(.)

Kindly look into my matter and return the same amount in my account at the earliest (.)

I am having a SB A/c with ICICI Bank, PORTONOVO branch-a/c.No.[protected].I went for cash withdrawl to yr ATM @ Govindan Road, West Mambalam branch, chennai
I made it for RS.4, 000/- Peeping sound came by saying "TIMES OUT".I have not recd any cash.Again I
made the cash withdrwal for RS.4, 000/ I got this amt.But Rs.4000/ X 2=Rs.8, 000/- debited in my a/c for which I have got only Rs.4, 000/ I went to yr CIT Nagar, chennai branch. Mr.K.Ramasamy is the Manager.
I went by 3.15 noon.He told that he is not responsible for this and he is not having the least desire to answer me since working hours ends by 3.00 noon.He said that he has not seen his family members due to his workload.(he said he uses to go home by 10.00 pm) for which I am not responsible.Like me, somany people have faced the same problem today. CUSTOMERS ARE OUR BOSS> iam also a Bank Employee.
I expect u to reply me .otherwise I take up the matter to the appropriate authorities.

Dear Sir,

I received promotional SBI Railway Card from IRCTC on 06/10/2008. My Card No. is [protected]. I had done two transactions from this card (One from IRCTC on 08/10/08 & another from Archies Gallery on 09/10/08). On 11/10/08 after receiving a call from SBI Call Centre for confirmation on some transaction, which I had never done, I came to know that my card was misplaced. Immediately I blocked my card by calling SBI Customer Care vide their reference number [protected] dated 11.08.2008. SBI Customer Care personnel informed me that FIVE TRANSACTIONS worth Rs. 23, 999/- has already been done on 10/10/08 from your card.

Immedietly thereafter the FIR was lodged with Moti Nagar Police Station and they asked for the details of transactions like shop name and address to investigate the case further. I requested SBI Customer Care for the charge slips of all the shopping's done on 09th, 10th and 11th Oct.-08 alongwith merchant's address for further investigation through e-mail on 11/10/08. I got a confirmation of receipt of my e-mail from SBI. On 14/10/08 I got a call from SBI Customer Care, Chennai that they got my request and going to send the all charge slips required. I also filled Despute Form with SBI & sent copy of Police Complaint to SBI through mail and courier on 01st Nov.-08. After that I suggested to pay the amount of genuine transactions (i.e. Rs. 1170/-) and the payment for the same was made on 06/11/08.

Now I would like to inform you that till today I am not received any charge slips after several e-mail & phone request (e-mail Dt. 1st Nov.-08, 17th Nov.-08 & 01st Dec.-08).

To my agony I am receiving threatening calls of their recovery agents daily two time to clear the outstandings and also after getting commitements by SBI for helping me in investigating the case, their billing department is laying Late Fee Charges, FIN Charges etc. on desputed amount.

You are requested to look in to the matter and help me in getting out of this trauma.

Recently i was asked to take SBI railway card by customer care, I have accepted to it, but not yet recieved my card and I am getting SMS saying that I made my first transaction . This is purely unacceptable. and my first bill got generated for 500 rupees with out having my card in my pocket.

God promise, , SBI is no1 cheating credit card..they are not accepting for the cancellation..they will give a calls for taking credit card and after taken that card they won't take the customer care..if you call to customer care you need to wait for 15 to 20 minits for putting hold...pls don't take this cards..

i have taken the SBI CREDIT CARD and using from last 4 to 5 years..now i have paid everything dues for that..i asked after i have paid the dues pls send the clearance form..I have asked the cancellation given a call twice. they have taken the complaint and not respond yet..Sir pls take an action, do the favor to me. i have called today to customer care number 39 02 12 12, they said your call expecting time is 15secs, but they have not taken even 27 minites after call also..It is very hectic to the customer pls take action like this type of Credit cards and customer care people.

Itrying to online payment for sbi life to the amount of rupees 6000/- on 27.07.2012, but on that time transaction had not in complete process due to error problem that means i confirmed from the sbi life care service, they replied to me that your account not recieved by them or their account after that the amount which is cut from my card account is may be return into my said account but till date as on 31.05.2012 my said amount has not add in my card account.

I am regular user of www.irctc.co.in website for booking of train tickets. On the website I found that SBI issues Railway Credit Card for which I have to apply online through the same website. It is not even made available to be applied from the SBI website itself. I applied for the same as it gives me the benefit of saving the service charges which is levied if I use the other Credit Cards. I applied it along with the Railway Shubh Yatra scheme. I received the Shubha Yatra membership card but did not receive the the SBI Railway Credit Card. After waiting for some few days almost 2 months I again applied through the IRCTC website but till today no news about it.

Kindly help me in knowing the status and the reason. I would definitely love to have the SBI Railway Credit Card as I am the frequent traveller.

Please help me in getting the same.

I took the SBI "LIFE TIME FREE CREDIT CARD". first of all the statement never came on time to me. when i was charged for the late fee i fired them about the statement not coming to me. suddenly the statement stopped to come and now after 2 years suddeny they have woken up to come up with some 4000 amount that this is new year membership amount. when i membered that its a lifetime free card they said pls read the document and i was shocked. theat i got cheated big time. now they are threatening me that they would charge me 3000 every month no onwards if i dont pay the amount. Friends Believe me... never take SBI card. you will get sleepless nights.

i kingshuk samanta redeemed my sbicard points for a satyapaul bag. on 16th jan i received the sms that i have received the gift on 9th jan 2018.this was a lie and i send sms to customer service and also phoned 2 times sbi complaint dept.they were rude and just cancelled my phone after 8 to 9 min.

Why the State bank of india is taking INTER CITY CHARGES for depost money to account in non home branch.
Please stop this charge otherwise nobody will deposit money to sbi.

It's not a good thing to charge INTER BRANCH FEES for even small amounts like 500 & 1000 from middle class families. If the fees is like that, no one will use SBI bank. If Once it loose the customer satisfaction then no one can make to trust the SBI bank.

I am also shocked to see inter city charges from SBI in Baroda.Actually the person who is depositing money in my account knows nothing about these charges.After deposit of cash in my account SBI has deducted Rs. 60/- in my account.This is just unknown to depositor.

hey, be careful with sbi bank... now it charges inter city charge... don't understand the logic behind this charging ... it happens for a long time sbi might lost its sufficient number of customer.

why sbi wants to collect intercity charges from its customers who deposits money in non home branches?
as a nationalized bank it is not good on its part. Please think once about it. If it continue like this, sbi will loose their customers gradually. And one more thing is why don't sbi will allow to submit the application regarding net banking? Till now it is giving a very good hospitality and very good service to its customers. These are the main drawbacks for sbi.

SBI should not charge intercity charges when the amount is deposited in the same city but other branch of the bank. By doing this they discourage the customers using the computerized facility. Also the service of SBI is not good. If you go to main branch of SBI Pune, you will have to stand in long queue at the counter for at least one or two hours for any work. The treatment given by bank employees is very bad. There is no decency. The bank person at the counter does not know the rules. Simply Pathetic. So friends Let us avoid SBI. Say no to SBI.

I am extrimely annoyed with this system of Intercity charges of sbi. Today I attended an opening branch of Orissa at Barkote of Deogarh Dist. Where the Bankers Requested me to have some trial deposit . I did so . I posses my account at Deogarh branch, Barkote is comming under the same District of Deogarh. In this case intercity charges of Rs 25/ for deposit of Rs100 in a rural branch do not carry any means. I hope bankers should be aware in distance and rural sector when deducting INTERCITY CHARGES.

I dont know why SBI is debiting Intercity charges from customers.majorities are using non home branches and this charge is not good for SBI.for transfering 61000rs they are debiting 91 rs as charges, .(ie, 0.15%charge).this is not fair.On other side other bank like ICICI are not debiting any charges.

This is ridiculous. I have deposited cheque in Chennai and my home branch is in Calcutta and SBI has charged Rs 150/- as Inter City charge. This charges is only applicable in SBI . I did same kind of transaction for AXIS Bank and Stan Chat Bank they never do so. I would like to get back my money. I hope one fine morning SBI will realize the customer grievances.

Its very shameful for a bank like SBI to collect money on the basis of inter city transfer charges...after all banking is meant for remote deposition of money...eg a student studying away from his home...if the authorities don't stop these things then boast yourself of being the largest bank of india and stop giving full page ads on leading daily newspapers as being the banker to this nation...if you want to be the banker to this nation don't just say it shamelessly, mean it too.

i am seriously warning SBI about INTERCITY CHARGES u may lose your valuable customers if you continue to do so. SBI Inter City Charge is really UNTRUE. Rollback this charge immediately. Even they are charging when depositing from its own branch. What is mean by "Saving" account type in SBI ?????????????. They charge Inter City Change in many ways, first they charge like service charge by asking for additional amount over the deposing amount in[protected]s. Second when there is a transaction from ATM, changes automatically deducted in[protected]s. Now finally they deduct the charge directly from the depositing amount without customer's knowledge in 2008s- till now.

This is not the SBI only who use to impose such charges on Non-home branches' transaction. I have similar experience with Bank of India, where, on deposit or withdrawal from non-hoem branches, the heavy charges are imposed and the charges are known to customer only after the transaction is effected. SBI Authorities to note:-Stop charging inter city charges for deposits made in non home branches. After all instead of the cashier in one branch, the cashier of other branch is collecting the cash. All remaining activities are same. Then what is the use of core banking/net banking/24X7 service.

today I got shock from SBI by this inter city charges, while I opened a fixed deposit from other branch. I told them to transfer money from saving account to FD. they have deducted inter city charges rs 150/- from my account but they havent informed me while opening FD that they will charge me this much amount if I will open fixed deposit from other branch. this is really rediculous to deduct money without informing a customer. this is not expected from a reputed bank like SBI. this is not case with ICICI bank. I can deposit money anywhere in this ICICI account they cant apply inter city charges for that. how the norms are changing for each bank :(

what the hell is this, i opened my sbi account in college away from my home town, now m working in another town and i cant go everytime to deposit money in same branch..
I have lost upto more than 1000 rs. In these years for intercity 'sbi' to 'sbi' transfer..

SBI Tiny is charging 25 Rs on 500 amount, they have charged me 50 rs coz i have sent 1000 rs to my family member because it was very urgent...

SBI is now cheating when i visited sbi branch at andheri mumbai (Branch code 539). so met person told me to visit nearest SBI tiny office so that they can charge on me. what a foolishness i dont know what indian government is doing and what SBI officers is doing.

yes agreed why sbi is deducting so much inter branch charges. Also the amount is not fixed. Once they charged rs 25 for depositing in pune and after some days again a cheque was deposited in sangli (in maharashtra only), i was shocked to see inter branch charges deduction of rs 110/-. Why such charges and why difference in charges also

Dear SBI,
I've planned to close my vadiveeswaram branch account, SUDHAN RAM C, [protected]. As i'm losing Rs.25 as the inter back charges for every transaction. At the first time, it's too much in approving the account that has been added to third-party account in Internet banking. I've lost so much of money due to this transaction charges. So next month onwards i've going to quit my account.

As per SBI Tiny launch details they say they have launched it mainly for underprivileged who dont know how the fill the challan to deposit money in SBI accounts.

No where its written compulsory to deposit below Rs.10000 only in SBI Tiny counter.

Then why the hell bank staffs send customer to SBI Tiny Counter.

SBI please look in to it or you will lose the customer.

Even Govt banks also nowadays start cheating customers. Now SBI also start charging for everything like limited transactions, intercity charges pass book printing and everything. I am 20 years account holder of SBI.

SBI giving ATM card to customer to minimize there work. But for ATM card also they were charging amount for annual fees.

Actually when I took up the matter with the Chairman, GM(customer service), GM(NW2)Chennai, and AGM (LHO Coimbatore) asking for their clarification /justification for this charge in the context of an RBI circular dated July2013 which advises all banks in unambiguous language not to levy such charges, none of the abovesaid authorities fro SBI came forward to offer their clarification /justification. Even after 3 months I have been replied "we are working on it-(one page circular)". It is clear that SBI is "working on how to fool and fleece the customers for the last 3 months by looking for ways to circumvent the RBI guidelines" . Left with no choice I have taken the RTI route to make them mend their ways.
Please wait for the results.

Why SBI charges high rate for inter city cash deposit????. Recently i deposited Rs 500/- in non- home branch of SBI, for this they deducted Rs 50/- as service charge ie, 10% of the total deposit.

Remember this type of SERVICES by SBI, definitely leads a huge reduction in their customer base.

I'm a new customer to SBI, I was not aware about the intercity charges, my home branch systems were down, I had to walk in to another branch, I deposited 44000/-..after coming to home, when I looked on to my account, on internet, i was shocked to see i was charged 130/-...which is very pathetic service by a reputed bank of India...

This is literally robbing peoples money, SBI charges money to transfer to 3rd party accounts, other bank don't..

Last month they issued a deposit card called green card. I went to deposit 2500rs. they charged Rs.50 as inter branch free. I thought it was intercity fee. but today I went to nearby branch instead of my account branch and they charged same Rs. 50 for Rs. 5000 fee. I asked them both banks are just 2 Km away and they are charging intercity fees. and they are not accepting deposits without cards. Payslip deposit it is Rs. 25 only. What ever be the case they should reduce this 5 rupees charge. and atleast they should allow charge free intercity deposit. This is ridiculous. I am going to attack sbi now for sure. date 23may2014

My father-in-law deposited 4000 in my Hyderabad SBI Account today from Ranaghat branch in West Bengal. SBI deducted 50/- out of this. Whats this bull-? SBI should stop taking these charges, this is pure fraudulent mechanism adopted by them. I dont like this.

I am saving smaller amount like this, if I keep money on my hand i'll spend that. So that I want to deposit on my bank account. Hi im SBI User. My friend deposited just Rs.300 to my a/c but i got only Rs.250. After only i got message from SBI about Rs.50 deducted for inter city charges. It is absolutely wrong. They must be fix some basic amount as deposited without these charges. Why i want to pay Rs.50 for just a Rs.300 transacation. This is absolutely a cheating policy. I decided to close my SBI A/C. Dear friends we must react for these type of problems. Otherwise, nobody won't retake these type of foolish policies.

It's very bad. I don't understand why SBI is charging Inter Branches fee from customers. Other banks are not doing that ... Also the charges are very high ... This is ridiculous and very disappointed by SBI.

i told my friend to deposit 15000 he is in different district after deposit i got a message that 50 rupees was charged i was shocked previously sbi is to charge 30 rupees know its 50 rupees and tomorrow 70, 90, 110, 130, ...so on what the heck is this i was thinking what about private sector banks please tell is this happening in other banks or only sbi?

This is really outrageous. With a deposit of Rs. 4000/- SBI has charged 50 Rs as Intercity bank charges. I mean common guys, who will do offline transactions anymore ?? At least be reasonable charge below 20 or something, actually u should not charge at all

They want to charge us for everything, my family tried to withdrew money 3 times in a day-on the same day i transfered, i got three times charges 17x 3 for non balance try, Now i have shifted my home, when i deposit money in near by branch they charged AED 68/- for that, these all computerised transaction charges should be avoided, as bank dosent give any services to us nor they are not getting any cost.

AsI have deposit Rs. 49, 000/-, 49000/- & 2000/- in kandivali M.G. Road Kandivali Branch Mumbai in my own Account at SBI Shankar gali Kandivali Branch Mumbai where SBI deducted 112/-, 112, & 50/- respectively as Intercity charges which is nothing but SBI's Extortion money from a common man, I request to Prime Minister Mr. Modi & Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley to remove this Intercity charges in SBI with immediate Effect.

I am also shocked to see inter city charges from SBI in Gandhinagar.Actually the person who is depositing money in my account knows nothing about these charges.After deposit of cash in my account SBI has deducted Rs. 50/- in my account.This is just unknown to depositor.

[protected] from Naya Nagal branch and having ATM card on[protected] in withdraw amount from HDFC ATM when i complete the transaction the ATM machine show your transaction is timed out then i do the same the same massage appear. when i see my a/c statement on interenet the amount Rs.1000/- Dr., Cr. & Dr. when i approach the HDFC Bank he told me to complaint the Branch I mail the same to branch on[protected] but till date no action has been taken i request your honour to rectify my transaction and cr the same.

Hi

I am a resident of Thane district, Mumbai, India.
My parents have booked a flat 4 years ago in one of the projects by Ganpatey Developers in Thane(W). The developer involves 4 partners. One of them is MD of India Lead Ltd. Company.
The land on which the project was built belonged to this company. The company had taken a load from State Bank of India against this land for its normal operations at other factory locations. This loan with all interest now amounts to 120 Crore.
2 years ago SBI suddenly stopped all the construction work (70% complete) claiming the land (which is no way 120 crore worth).

The builder was supposed to have a joint account with SBI (escrow account) where all the earnings from the property sell were supposed to be deposited. Due to corruption within the bank and high influence the builder avoided this and took up all the money. He achieved the title clearance also.

The buyers have procurred loans from leading instutes like LIC housing Finance being assured that they check the title before the loan is disbursed.

The builder has backed of from the project and is willing to give away the property to bank. The bank has many options to seal and sell the Other privately owned locations of India Lead Ltd Company and its MD. But it is not willing to do so.

We have filled a case in consumer court against the builder and SBI. The SBI has stated that the buyers are not it's consumers and hence it is not the party to the case and has got relief from the state consumer court (we had won the case at district level. We also doubt our lawyer for the loss as he did not speak a word in against SBI in the court).
Now it wants to sell the land w/o our share. The court also seems to agree to this. We have no were to go. Where can one complain against the court. The case is also in the Debt Recovery tribunal. The builder is enjoying his money and the SBI will get it's from the sell of the property. What about us??

I am the latest victim of these frauds. I had purchased a so called Swatch watch. The watch is a cheap imitation of the watch and even does not look like a real watch to me let alone Swatch.

I tottaly agree SUE THEM FOR MENTAL HARRASSMENT AND REFUND OF MONEY WITH INTEREST. THATS THE REMEDY. AND ALSO AWARENESS BE CREATED FOR OTHER PEOPLE. SBI CREDIT CARD OFFICIALS SHOULD ALSO BE NOTIFIED ABOUT THE DAMAGE CAUSED OF THEIR COMPANY NAMES BY THESE SERVICES.

Subject :-Non receipt of cash from your corp bank ATM situated at Mall road Tilak vihar.

Respected Sir,
On 2/12/2008 I operated corporation bank ATM to withdraw an amount of Rs 6000/-
but I am sorry to mention that though the Amt Rs 6020/- was debited from my account by the money never came out of the machine. I tired to contact the corporation bank office at the numbers given at the ATM premises but of no use since no body picked the phone.

This is also to bring to your kind notice that no attendant and security guard was present at that time at Crop Bank mall road Tilak Vihar ATM. I am enclosing herewith photocopy of mini statement of my bank SBI showing the amount debited from my account. Also please find showing transaction of Rs 100/-.

Since few other customer had withdrew money from the same machine. I again tried to withdraw Rs 100/- for the money but the result was same my account was debited by Rs120/- but money did not came out.

I visited Corp bank Mahavir nagar on 3/2/2008 and contact Mr. Rajeshwar and he was told to contact my bank State Bank of India in Dwarka sec 10 . Next day I visited in SBI and I was asked to report the matter in writing which I did with my letter dated 05/12/2008.

But still 27/12/2008 your bank not refund money back in my account. very hardly to say that i m so suffer because of inconvenient of you service.

Keeping in view the above fact .It is humbly requested to kindly refund the amount to my account

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a savings account[protected] sbi branch BHOOM dist-; OSAMANABAD state-: MAHARASTRA.

I have used AXIS Bank ATM (ATM ID[protected])
today (08.08.09) for withdrawal amount Rs.4600/-.

A bad experience I have gathered. I have not received any money from the Corporation
Bank ATM. But my account showing Rs.4600/- debited for the transaction.

this trasiction i was done in two time that first time i was try for R.S.2300/-& after few second second time
try for R.S.2300/- adii this transiction Rs.4600/-

I have complained to my SBI Branch with proper documents i.e. transaction slips etc.
after 4 days on my acount R.S.2300/- are added but other R.S.2300/- not added

i have already in confusion.

I had lost my ATM card since last October 2008 and instantly locked and canceled my ATM facility through the telephonic procedure. however after which i followed all the instructed procedure of re-issuing an ATM for my convenience. I have been following up this matter since then with the respective authorities of the bank. which have still been not solved and at present with lots of inconvenience I am continuing with my account in your bank. I’m very annoyed and helpless in such a situation. even I applied second time for reissuing an ATM but in vain. Please consider my situation and take necessary steps.

I drew Rs 10, 000/- from Masab Tank SBH on 22/11/07 Ididn't get the Amount but the transaction slip is showing that Idrew the Amount we have already complained at both branches. But efforts are in vain. So Please Look in to this and do the need ful. Submit Complaint.. .

My name is Anup Kumar Bhoi, I have a savings account([protected]) with SBI New Panvel (East), Mumbai. On 11 Aug 09 i tried to withdrawl Rs 15000/-from Axis Bank atm with SBI atm card but it show "Unable to Process" in the slip & transaction failed then i checked my account & found same amount had been debited from my account. I lodged the compliant on my SBI branch on 12th Aug' 09 with an Application request & atm Mini statement. Today is 22nd day & still i did'nt receive my refunded money. Bank manger told me that they sent the email for inquiry.
so kindly give me any website or contacts of SBI /RBI to registered my complain. Submit Complaint.. .

Guest Wrong Debit entry of Rs. 12500/-
Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a savings account ([protected]) with State Bank Of Patiala, Jaitu, Dist. Faridkot, Punjab, Pin Code 151202.

I have used another Bank's ATM (ATM WDL[protected] 6794 S1AN[protected] on 14-Aug-2009 for withdrawal amount Rs.12500/-.

A bad experience I have gathered. I have not received any money from that Bank's ATM. But my account showing Rs.12500/- debited for the transaction.

I have complained to my Bank Branch with proper documents i.e. transaction slips etc.
But the branch manager is not telling me the status of my complaint and saying like it would take 4 monts to resolve this matter.

SBOP not responding about this matter.

I need the money immediately because i am a student and i have to deposit fee.

Already a long time passed, please arrange to credit the same to my account immediately.

First of all send a written complaint to the SBI Head office and do keep a copy of that complaint letter. Wait for the response for max. 20 days and revert back soon with the response from the Bank's side. The address is:

Few months back I was approached at Vashi, New Mumbai, Croma Shop for applying for a Croma card. As the matter was related to TATA, i showed my interest and applied for the same. Then I received one PIN through courier which was followed by several SMS to my mobile relating to the despatch of the card. One month has gone and the card has not yet been delivered to me. I am afraid whether it has been misplaced or not. Please revert back on the matter.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I was trying to get a new account opened for my mother with SBI, Indiranagar branch (near to BSNL office). I have submitted all the required enclosures, but I was told to submit an additional photo ID proof as the applicant doesn't have a PAN. Applicant has got only Voter's ID card (from Election commission, GOVT OF INDIA).

I appreciate if you could let me know if I can have an account created with SBI with the documents mentioned in the instructions. Following documents were submitted for new account opening.

Application Form
Form 60 (As the applicant doesn’t have a PAN)
Address proof (BSNL telephone bill)
Photo ID proof (Voter’s Card, Election Commission of India).

Apart from the above if we need to submit more documents, I request you to mention it in the application instructions, so that customers won’t have much trouble.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is Amer Khan.. I have an account in SBI bank and today (19Jan09) I was trying to open a new account for my sister in New Mallepalli brach, Hyderabad.

But the branch manager said to wait for 1 hour and she did not talk with me properly at least she should give say anything which I asked and give me the details of the account opening I went out from there because I was getting late...

I request to the head office of SBI bank, Hyderabad. Please take an action to the mallepally branch.. They people are not doing their work properly...
