    Sir,

    i used my SBI ATM cum Debit Card at Univercell Mobile shop, Indira nagar, Bangalore on 22/10/2008. After swiping my card in POS terminal I have given my pin number to them but nothing happend . They asked again my pin number and i have given it . then that transaction completed . i got the receipt also . Then i noticed that the amount debited from my account twice. but its credited to merchant's account only once. i want to track my amount .. where it hase gone . and they r telling sometime it has gone to bank's suspense account. i want to know whether it is there with bank or not. please give me the correct information as soon as possible.

      last statment of account received in april 2007 showing Rs.157/-as credit balance since then i have not received any statement.Few days back i tried to see my account through internet showing a debit balance of Rs 253?-plus.but the credit limit and the cash limit as "o".On 17/10/08 I deposited Rs 500 in my account and I requested through your customer relation officer to update my card with full credit and cash limit, but i was informed that my card once deactivated can not be reactivated I was surprised that how it could be possible and what is my fault?
      I request you to please look into the matter and if it appears to be my fault, I kindly request you to cancel my card and pay me the credit balance lying in my account. My card no is [protected] valid upto june 2012 my date of birth is 14/07/1949 and at present I am residing with my son at Indirapuram ghaziabad my mobile no is [protected]

        Dear Sir/Madam,
        Today using my SBI Foreign Travel card, I withdrawn money( 500 pound sterling) from Nattwest ATM, Cranfield, England at 12: 30pm local time in England. For this transaction am amount(865.71US Dollar is deducted from my account). But as per RBI rate it should be 815.58 US Dollar( On 22/10/2008 1US Dollar = 49.29 INR and 1GB Pound Sterling= 80.40INR) and transaction charge of 1.75US dollar( as per SBI guide lines).
        To my surprise, I loose around 48 dollrs in one transaction. Can you clarify my doubts over transaction.

        Can i use Foreign travel card in India???

        SBI Foreign Travel Card — Excess deduction

        I made a purchase of Singapore dollar 39.06 today eith mu SBI Foreign Travel Card. When I checked my account, I found that a transaction of 39.06 Singapore dollar was correctly shown. However US Dollar 34.45 was debited from my account. At exchange rate of 0.72 US dollar for a Singapore dollar, the amount debited should have been about US dollar 28. Two years back I had used the same card in USA, but there was never a discrepancy.

        Can someone explain how the amount debited is computed. It seems the Foreign Travel Card is very expensive for countries other than USA.

          i had an SBI credit card, i had a major financial crunch in sep 07 . but then too i had opted for a fair settlement with the card people only by requsting them to wave off only a part of intrest since i was a v old and a geniune coustomer.
          the SBI personnel visited me and asked for my cheques (total outstanding was of 32 k and settlement was done at 25500. i.e. 5 Emi of 5100 each) i asked him to wait for 3-4 days as i had requested a new cheque book of my a/c but he then pleaded tht u give me the cheques of your any bank account as we will not deposite those cheques and i ll collect the EMIs from u in cash every month since its a month and they have some targets to be achieved . tht was fine with me. but every time they used to deposite the cheques and since it was an non active account i could know only once it is bounced. considering human error i let it go off for the first time but this was repeted twice and i decided to take an action and i spoke to the executives boss he then promised me tht this will not be repeated in future. ( all the EMIs were being collected by me in cash every month in this course) and finally when this was repeated even for the last time i waas v much furstrated and annoyed with the service by then and spoke to the officials in delhi customer care. who then assured me tht please pay off your last EMI and we apologise for whtever has happened. being a genuine client i said OK and paid off all the EMIs. Now after 6 months i started getting calls from their DSAs stating i had to pay some more 29k since my settlement was voide due to cheque bounce and after repeted explnations being given to them i still receive calls from highly indecent and disrespectfull DSAs of yours.

            I went to SBI on the month of July to open a new account for myself, where I was told to open an account on the first week of August so that I will get a gift from SBI on the spot.

            I agreed and ask my cousin to open an account so that we get a gift, and so we did. We opened an account on SBI and they promised to gift us an umbrella. But still now we dint received anything from SBI. When we went to enquire they told us that the stock has not come yet, once the stock come we will inform you and gift you. But asusual it was all fake promises.

            About the services, they have only two computers and one printers. Weekly twice their computer gets hanged, or someother problems if it works well then light problems for this we are not able to update our passbook, or credit cash on our account.
            Space is not enough as lots of customers stand on queue. Inspite of having three counters always people get confused which counter to go as they always mislead them.

            To solve any problem they ask us to meet a specify person on the bank and when we approach him, he ask us to meet another. Even to get a netbanking form we have to wait and waste our 1hour time.

            I applied for net banking still it is on wait more than 3weeks passed still m waiting for net banking kit. Many more customers are there coming with the complaints for they havent received their welcome kit, or even pin for their debit card.

            Those people working on SBI Nerul branch are seriously disgusting. They just waste customers time to guide them. Very Bad experience I had at SBI Nerul.

            I am totally agree about this comments... Because i suffer a lot from account opening to netbanking. Till now i visited 6/7 times SBI, Nerul for activate my internet userid, but each time they told me we solve your issue and after 2/3 days you will be able access your account through netbanking. Since 2 months passed away, i am not able to access my account on internet.

            I also visited SBI nerul Branch manager for the same issue, but she has no experience on this and told me to contact the right person. She has not interested to solve customers issue. One employee refer to another employee. No one is able to response correctly...

            My suggestion to all people, please don't go to SBI Nerul branch for wastage your time.
            stop complaining about umbrella and waiting time in SBI . SBI is a low cost banking module for the common man. they cannot afford big lobby with 10 manager's taking care of people..

            If you guys really want to feel like king. i suggest u open a HNI account with MNC banks and keep 20 lacs as balance u will get all the service u expect from the bank

            I totally disagree about the anticomments. I am with the SBI Nerul since its inception. I didnot find any lacuna except a few teething troubles in the beginneng. All the three managers with whom I came across were extremely cooperative. I feel that one must understand that one cannot please all. Kindly note that I donot have any nearby in SBI
            i do agree with u. most of them are old sticks, who just cant handle 2 many customers.

              ON[protected], I RECEIVED A CALL FROM SBI CREDIT CARD DEPARTMENT THAT SOME WRONG TRANSACTIONS HAS BEEN MADE IN MY CARD AND MY CARD HAS BEEN BLOCKDED AND IT WAS ALSO REQUESTED TO ME THAT KINDLY INFORM IT TO SBI CUSTOMER CARE ALSO.

              MY QUESTION IS : IF SOME WRONG TRANSACTIONS ARE THERE AND IT HAS BEEN DIAAGNOSED BY THE DEPARTMENT ITSELF, THEN WHY THER ARE NOT RECTIFYING IT IMMEDIATELY. WHY THEY ARE PRESSING ME TO LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH CUSTOMER CARE.

              BUT ON THEIR REQUEST I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER CARE ON[protected]. THEY ALSO REPLIED THAT IN MY ACCOUNT THRE ARE SOME WRONG TRANSACTIONS AND BLOCKED MY CARD ALSO WITH THE ASSURANCE THAT I WILL GET NEW CARD VERY SOON.

              TILL DATE[protected] I DID NOT GET MY STATEEMENT.

              I AM TOTALLY UNAWARE THAT WHAT IS GOING ON.

              IT IS REQUESTED TO PLEASE SUGGEST ME THAT IF THERE ARE SOME WRONG TRANSACTIONS, I HAVE TO APPROACH EITHER CUSTOMER CARE, I HAVE TO LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH DELHI POLICE OR I HAVE TO APPROACH DISTRICT COURT.

                On 26 th july 2008 used ICICI Bank ATM at NOIDA Due to some operational snag cash could not be withdrawn, however account was found debited with Rs 1000/- Later on my accont with SBI LAKHANPUR KANPUR show one credit and debit entry Narration COR correction entry. Request for restoring my money with SBI BRANCH yet to be processed . No satisfactory reply forth coming . There switch center is required to take action for refund of my money siphoned off from my account . 88 days have already lapsed but no response from my banker

                The applicant is working as Signalman in Army and having SB A/c No. [protected] at Barmer City, Main Branch, Pratap Ji Ki Pole Barmer Rajasthan. I would like to draw your kind attention that the staff of SBI, Barmer is always misbehaved with the applicant/army officials and credit/debit in my account at their own wishes.

                Recently I have withdrawn Rs. 5000/- by ATM no. 404102 on 11.6.08 transaction no. 2478 but the Barmer Branch has shown two transaction of Rs.5000/- each from my account i.e. 11.6.2008 & 9.6.08.

                It is submitted that the applicant had withdrawn Rs.5000/- only one time from ATM No. 404102 on 11.6.08 but the bank has wrongly shown another debit of Rs.5000/- from my account on 9.6.08 from ATM No.404102 vides transaction no. 247 on the ground that the queries received from Delhi that you have withdrawn Rs.5000/- on 9.6.08 from ATM No. 404102 transaction no 247 due to that reason bank has debited the said amount on 5.9.08, which is totally false I have never withdrawn the abovesaid amount on 9.6.08.

                TODAY I HAVE PERSONALLY INQUIRED ABOUT THE WITHDRAWAL DATED 9.6.08 FROM PBB, PARLIAMENT STREET, NEW DELHI WHERE THE DEALING OFFICIALS HAS INTIMATED THE COMPLAINANT THAT NO SUCH WITHDRAWAL OF RS.5000/- HAVING BEEN MADE FROM THE ATM NO. 404102 ON 9.6.08 (TRANSACTION NO. 247) AND ON WHAT BASIS YOU THE ABOVENAMED BANK HAS DEDUCTED THE AMT. OF RS.5000/- FROM MY SB ACCOUNT.

                I had approached the Dy. Manager Sh. Bhagwan Singh regarding the said discrepancy, without solving my problem they had misbehaved with me and he had used with me abusive & filthy language.

                In view of the above, it is therefore requested kindly to credit Rs. 5000/- to my above said A/c (earlier illegally deducted from my account) and Disciplinary Proceeding/strict action against Sh. Bhagwan Singh, Dy. Manager of Main Branch, Pratap Ji Ki Pole, Branch Code 6095, Barmer City, Rajasthan, may kindly be initiated as the aforesaid officials has misbehaved with the complainant. And also intimate the applicant about the action taken by the Bank against the said official and amount of Rs. 5000/- may be credited in my account on priority basis.

                Myself sarika jain working in TKDL,HRDC CSIR and having saving account in SBI from my company's side in Navyug Market Gaziabad Branch.Today morning 10.30 I went to bank for update my passbook and apply for online banking ,but the persons who are were sitting for pass book update and online banking started shouting on me and after arguments person update my passbook only till February month and then i said about again he started shout on me and for online banking refused to do i just left my form there. i went to bank manager also he also behaved very badly.
                I just wanna ask is it Govt Bank , are they will take care o[censored]s please sir i m requesting you take an appropriate action Nobody is there for listen you and this is not the first time generally it happens.

                State Bank of India — misbehave and illegal charge deduction without information.

                Dear Sir,
                I Kapil Vora opened the current account in SBI bank meera market branch of chittorgarh, Rajasthan(India) .The details of the account is attached. Sir I want to clarify that your bank has been deducted Rs 1000 from my account as my balance was below Rs 10,000, is it any such type policy for current account .Please Clarify as soon as possible and send necessary details. As in the account form there is no mention of such type of deductions. Moreover they issue me the cheque book and they deduct it from my account that is why my balance come below 10,000. Bank never informed me to deduct minimum balance charge at any level. Not on the time of account open or never before doing so. So please clarify it.

                  hi,
                  this is ramki. i have sbi credit card. one fine morning from sbi customer care one person called and told about insurance, and its as low as amount of 25/-per month and that to u need not to pay that amt monthly or for every statement. so agreed. i used that card only one time. one fine day i lost that card. i made a call to customer care and blocked that card and i said i don't that card in future also(clearly said).

                  i thought everthing went well. but one fine day(after nearly 9 months later) i got a call from sbi and said you have outstanding amt of 2000/- for insurance.

                  i asked i all ready blocked the card. then how can i pay insurance amt. but that guy told u haven't closed account.

                  what is this nonsence thing, if i don't card in future, how they(sbi) people will maintain acct for me. they are asking me to pay that amt. i told i won't pay that amt. if they come legally, i will also go legally.

                  plz take care about these people and save many customers like me.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I would like to inform you that on 17.11.2007 i was receive an sms in my mobile that i have transacted an amount of INR 3243.55 throgh paypal.com and the transaction deatils are like that
                    PAYPAL *KOLKATAFRIN [protected] SGP
                    .Then and there I downloaded the transaction disput form and send it to SBI CARD, gurgaon Branch by fax and i was intimated them through mail also. They dont reply in my mail and fax. After wards i had a talk with the customer care dept they inform mr this case will be settled with in 90 days . I block my card and i paid what ever transaction that i had done like my Airtel mobile bill in next month Dec 2007.Afterwards i never transacted. But they continiously sending the statements with late fee charges without solving the case. Now they send me the legal notice.
                    I have made this card because of the SBI brand name and I never expect such unfair play from the reputed finance sector like SBI.
                    But it is really surprised to me that a brand name like SBI is attached with this type of fradaulant case and have not take any secured transaction system.
                    I would like to inform you that, I am already using four others bank credit cards where I have never seen such problems and I am a very cautious while using Credit cards. I never leave my card.Even I never photocopied my card.
                    I can bet and confirm that there is no carelessness from my side.
                    May be some others transactions could have been included in my Account. In that case you please waive off the amount.
                    I am hereby requesting you to take some immediate Action on the matter

                      SBI CREDIT CARD ( NOT ISSUED ) — without issuing card - threatening

                      I AM A RETIRED GOVT OFFICIAL ( THASILDAR in
                      govt of tamil nadu ) GETTING PENSION.
                      THEY SEND A LETTER AND REPEATED CALLS.
                      UNDER THEIR PRESSURE I OPTED FOR CREDIT CARD. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CARD.

                      AND THEY ARE THREATING ME. AN EARLY SOLUTION IS REQUESTED.

                      SBI Card — card closer

                      As per SBI CARD costumer care executive I paid the full amount on 15/12/06, they told me pay the Rs 29370/ then your card will be cancelled and you get a letter from our end that the card is closed, I paid full Rs.29370/, but after 6 month they are asking Rs.5, 353.62, in that regard I sent a detail email to credit manager of SBI CARD but they sent me a mail that you have to pay what ever in the system generated statement, they are even not clarifying why ? Now after 18 month they made that amount Rs 12607/ and put my name in CBIL, in efect of that my personal loan get rejected from other bank. what should I do in this case? Do CIBIL has any kind of responsibility towards strait citizen or they are only tool of this kind of organization for harassing people? I have seen a programme on CNBC that credit card issuer bank will try to not cancel and create dispute to snatch more money so what I am facing. If once SBI CARD costumer care executive decided the full payment after that how they can ask for extra money.

                      All dues under my Credit Card No. [protected] was settled as far back as August 2008, under full and final settlement granted by you on a one-time basis, total amount involved being Rs.22, 000/-. Please refer to your letter ref. No. 90/006298 dated the June 25, 2008, in this regard. While this being so, I have been continuously receiving Credit Card Statements every month from July, 2008, which I have been ignoring under the impression that the position will be reviewed by you and corrected. Even this month I have received Statement demanding payment of a total amount due of Rs.2804.99 for closed Credit Card

                      This is Sasikumar; I am working in Chennai and my native place in Madurai (TN.)

                      Nearly two years back I have applied for a SBI credit card & I have filled some details such as Copy of PAN Card, Copy of ICICI Credit card Statement and mobile No., company name & no etc.

                      But after some time I got the regret SMS from SBI bank saying that I do not fit into their criteria for Credit Card and the matter was closed at that time only.

                      And I didn't receive any Card from SBI bank and suddenly on 28th-Apr.-09 after 2 year later Mr. Mozath from SBI Chennai Beach branch and called (thrice) on my native place and Brother phone no. and threaten to my mother, brother & relation saying that your son has done fraud and we will file the legal action with end of day (i.e) 28-Apr-09 send police after 5 p.m of 28-Apr-09 & you and your son will get arrested.

                      My brother called me and give the Mosses mobile no([protected]), then I called on that same time to ask the details, he told you not paid the due amount of 50, 000 and some of the cheque bounced. Then I asked the details he refused to give the details and threatening me to pay 50, 000 end of the day otherwise I will register the legal complaint and arrested. And he did not tell any thing about him. For the last 2 years I am not change my mobile No. I didn’t receive any SMS or mail or call for over due or not pay and also I am not received any statement through mail or hard copy.

                      And when I had talked with this guy (Mosses) he has told me that SBI bank has put some charges (such as fraud case) because I have purchased some-thing from SBI Credit Card and did not paid the amount.

                      Then I told him that I do not hold any SBI Credit Card

                      Then how come I can purchase some thing from it?

                      And I had told him that please provide me details about Credit card acceptance if I have received it.

                      I need information for the following.

                      on which date you have issued Card ?

                      on which address you have delivered Card?

                      on which date you have send it?

                      at what time somebody have received it?

                      by which courier you have send it and what was the AWB no. or Dispatch no. etc?

                      who has signed on courier receipt?

                      which identity receiver has show while accepting card and did courier guy has checked out?

                      after use of card, did SBI bank has send any bill statement.
                      -- If Yes - then same question on which address, on which date, at what time, by which courier service.

                      - and if amount was not paid did SBI bank send any reminder
                      If yes-- then same question on which address, on which date, at what time, by which courier service.

                      And now I am seeking justice & complete information;

                      Now I would like to file a case against SBI Credit Card department and all the guys who has involved in complete scenario.

                      Please help me out in this situation.

                      Please note that I had taken a credit card from you most probably in the year 2003. At that time your people had requested me several times to take an SBI Card for free of cost for employees of Life Insurance Corporation Of India. I had no actual need of this type of credit card but your people had argued that if I take the card I will lose nothing but he, being a low income young employee, will be benefited or rewarded from SBI Card and the fact will be one kind of help to him. SBI- State Bank Of India- One of the most reputed brand in India. I agreed to accept a credit card from SBI Card.

                      I have never used the card, even I have not detached the card from your paper on which you had pasted the card at the time of issuing the card. I had just received the card and kept it to me. At the end of five years when the validity of the first card was over you have sent a fresh card with the same number in the year 2008. I have also kept it to me without detaching from the pasted paper. I have never used the first card as well as the second card and I have never asked any benefit/ reward or any kind of help from you.

                      But your people had made several phone calls to me to accept various offers. Most of the times they have delivered their lectures in English and in such a rapid speed as if they have fast forwarded the speeches. I am not free in English and Hindi conversation and being a busy man I have never considered those offers and rejected all those offers.

                      Oneday, in the month of August-2009, one of a private courier has delivered a paper box to my home in absence of me. “Privilege Circle Programme” was written on the box. In the evening, after returning from my office, I made a phone call to your helpline number. I had told them that the box was wrongly delivered to me as because I have never asked for such offer and I want to return that Privilege circle programme box immediately, But your people had roughly answered me that “ You have accepted our offer and you must have to pay for that.” I argued with him and expressed my desire to return the Privilege Circle Programme box as it was but he was not ready to hear any words from me, instead he used rough language and hard pressed me to pay the amount as early as possible. I disagreed to pay anything from my hard earned money. Then your people made several phonecalls and SMSes from various citys like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Delhi, Hyderabad etc. etc. except from Kolkata. Then it seemed to me that a group of people are trying to create undue pressure on me for the money. I have tried a lot to make them understand that “ You have dropped a box to my door without my consent and demanding money from me ”, I was not ready to pay that . They have disturbed me a lot. Even they have harassed my family members also. Then after few months they started to call me from your kolkata office in bengali asking a huge amount. I have explained them total fact and requested them to collect the paper box which was kept with me intact for a long time. But your people were only interested to get money, they pressed me hard over telephone. Your Kolkata office then sent a “Muscle Man named Kanchan Neogi” whose Mobile No was [protected] to my residence. In absence of me he threatened my family members and created panic amongst them. Then I received a phonecall from Mr. Neogi. I explained the fact to him. He was too brut to hear me. He threatened me in a very rough language and asked me the money against the Privilege Circle Programme box. Once again I requested your Kolkata office to collect the box. But they disagreed.

                      Presently at the end of february, 2011, the first time I have received a written demand list in which you have demanded Rs-16746.36 and offered an opportunity to settle the demand by paying Rs-8373.18 only and you have also warned me in case of failure you will record the case to “Credit Information Bureau India Ltd. (CIBIL).

                      I am very much astonished of the fact that SBI, State Bank of India, one of the most reputed brand in India, is trying to gather money from their valued customers by force
                      selling, by harassing, by undue pressurrising or by hook or cook.

                      I have never used the card mentioned above, I have not credited any amount from you. All your demands are created only to fetch money from an innocent customer. I am unable to pay any amount from my hard earned money. I am not interested to continue the SBI Card. I am once again requesting you to collect the Privilege circle programme box and close the matter immediately to relieve me from this type of harrasments and confirm me accordingly.

                      I do agree that the SBI credit card people are harrassing the public. I am holding the SBI credit card with force for which I have to pay per year Rs. 500 without any purchase. They speak very softly in female voice before offering the card and later they dont have the courtesy to pick the call also. And to talk customer care person we have to be online for atleast one hour. When other banks are giving me free cards why should I pay Rs. 500 unnecessarily.                       I Sh. Sajal Sil (SBI Card holder). The SBI Card No.[protected] received while I served with IG, Ftr HQ BSF, South Bengal, Kolkata. Due to transferable Job, I further posted to Sector HQ BSF, Krishnanagar, Nadia (W.B) and recently retired from Service. Present I am staying in my home village at Taherpur, Nadia(WB). I have no received any statement last 3 1/2(three & half years) that was my posting from Kolkata to till date. Also due to financial condition is very poor, I am not in condition to running the SBI Card smoothly. So I want to cancelled my SBI Card immediately. The previous statement bill amount of Rs.5, 035/- has already been paid on 13.10.2014 through SBI Card and I have no amount due from 13.10.2014 to till date. I also contact through telephone & Mail about cancellation of my SBI Card but, no positive answer received by me till date hence, in future I can't pay any statement bill amount to running the SBI Card.

                        I received call on 30Aug regarding privilege circle offer. I was in hospital with my friend. I replied to first call to send me related document/mail for details and then I can accept/reject. The person told that I will get another call for verification.

                        In the second call the person asked about my personal details for verification. At the end of the call she told I will be billed for amount 6180 and it would be debited from my credit account. I refused at the same time and told it should not be completed without documents as per previous discussion.

                        After that I called customer care to cancel the same.
                        They told to mail to [protected]@plat5.com and gave me some numbers to call. I called to those mumbai numbers and those people were not ready to cancel and were telling that I had accepted the offer and can not be undone.

                        After this a chain of calls to customer care started to follow the same. But, those people were not ready to accept customer concerns.

                        I called to SBI customer care (dt: 9/15/2008 12:50 PM) to ask why it was not reverted back.
                        She also confirmed that I would need to pay only the amount for the statement except 6180/- and other things will be taken care by them.
                        Attendant told that cancellation is under process and it will be done within a weeks time. Reference No.[protected]

                        Received call from [protected], Dinesh. He was telling that its not possible to cancel. He was telling that I told ok for the offer.

                        I was annoyed to get this why he was telling like this as there was clear discussion earlier that the amount will be reverted back and I don't need to pay the unnecessary amount of 6180.
                        I am expecting the reversal of this amount as early as possible.

                        SBI PRIVILEGE CIRCLE — Unnecesssary gift sent without confirmation

                        I received a call from Privelege Circle in mid-August 08, informing me about an offer/gift, asking for confirmation of my address. The executive didnt mention about any charge on such offer (you may listen to the recordings to ensure this). Without having my consent on this, they have charged me a sum of Rs. 6180/- as Privilege Circle fee.

                        On receipt of the statement, I promtly called up Privilege Circle and spoke to one Mr. Vipul Batra from Privilege Circle who ensured that the transaction will be reversed and a fresh statement sent. I also sent a mail on Oct 6, 2008.Inspite of all this, nothing was done and instead an additional statement with late payment fees has landed at my residence.

                        In the interim, the gift has also been sent to me and delivered at my house on Oct 17, 08. Why was the gift sent even after instruction by mail and phone. Since the person at home was unaware of this, they accepted the same.

                        First of all, the personnel at the other end has taken the decision to send the gift on his own, without giving full facts of the offer, and secondly, inspite of repeated instructions has not taken the steps to rectify the same. The gift has deliberately not been opened by me since I intend to not avail any such offer. PLease get the gift collected or let me know where the same has to be sent back.

                        Yesterday, when i again received a call from the same person, I again instructed him to take back the gift and send a fresh statement without any dues, however he kept reiterating that the same cannot be done.

                        I fail to understand that if an offer has not been availed, why should it be sent in the first place and if yes, what is the hitch in taking it back (since it is not even opened) and reversing the whole transaction. This has creadted lot of ruckus and spoilt my impression about the banking discipline at SBI. I have no intention to avail the offer and pay the fee charged. SBI Card being such a renowned card company in the industry, this kind of attitude from their executives looks very shabby. SBI should not employ agencies like Privelege Circle who are here to harass people.

                        I have also been told that the cancellation of charges for privilage circle is under process from the helpline & thay told me not to pay any charges if billed in card statement. But on 13th November I made a call again & they were telling that I have agreed to pay Rs.1000 + taxes to cancel the fee . When I told that I never committed like that he was telling that no cancellation is possible. I asked for the date & recording of the conversation in which they claim I have agreed to pay Rs.1000, he told me to go to nearest SBIbranch to hear the recording. Such stupid comments are getting from the helpline & this is the worst cheating tactics I have ever experienced. I hv not paid to SBi card for this charges & plat5 has still not reversed the charges. Noe SBI has charged late fee for the charges, as I had no other payment to make other than this. I hv stopped using SBI card till this issue gets sorted out. Can anybody tell how to file a complaint as I have the recordings of the helpline in which they told not to pay the charges.

                        I had also a similar experience with the sbi card. I think something should be done to curb these guys from continuing such cheating.
                        I am also a victim of the same problem. The disclaimer said very rightly about SBI Card. It is basically a GE Capital venture in which SBI is a stakeholder and allowed to used its name for shake of money. It is the misfortune that the most trusted national bank of India is packed up with an unethical and unprofessional relation. Even the Reserve Bank is also protecting them by not interfering in legal matters, e.g. the font size of the terms and conditions or policy and many more. It’s a vicious circle packed with politicians and top level bureaucrats. The flow of information is very marginal and it is pathetic that they are dealing with financial matters.

                        Dear Sir/ Madam,



                        I would like to inform you that I am harassed frequently by your organization over phone calls regarding outstanding. For your information I would like to say that from your Customer Care Center it had confirmed that they have cancelled it (dated 28.10.08). Still the phone calls continue and inspite of my clarification on the matter they used to ask the same questions. It is annoying & harassing in character.



                        I again call to the customer care center and found the executives handling the calls indecisive and informed me that my card as well as the membership to the Privilege Circle is not yet cancelled. Subsequently two new registration took place on 25.11.08 (MQ[protected] &[protected] on 27.11.08 respectively and they assured me for the cancellation. They asked me to wait till 23 December, but the phone calls are becoming more intensive and harassing me along with my family. It is obvious that your customer care is not taking the case seriously or you don’t have a policy to short out the problem to delight your customer. I have not found any in house communication between them and unable to take any action. Moreover I would like to inform you that there is no written assurance and term and condition of the so called Privileged Circle furnished by your organisation.



                        I am asking repeatedly about the written documents which they have promised earlier and later no such documents produced to me for my conviction. Besides there are numerous issues which make you totally incredible to deal with any financial matter.



                        The Docket which I received from your end contained a wristwatch and travel tickets and devoid of any term and conditions or written assurance. Moreover I meet your official Mr. Prasenjeet Dhar Choudhury (Calcutta Office) and informed him about the problem I am facing caused by you. He assured me that it will be resolved and asked me to return the Docket. The docket is returned backed to SBI Card office, Ulubari, Guwahati on 15.12.08.



                        On 31.12.08 I talked with your Customer Care and they are now demanding Rs. 1000/- for cancellation. I want to remind you once again that this is a 420 case under IPC. I expect that you people have a respect to our constitution.



                        Therefore I would like to request you to settle the case as early as possible. Once again I assert you the following points:



                        As you are not credible and I don’t trust your Privileged Circle there is no issue for any payment.
                        I gave my consent on the above scheme as your Executive/ Brokers / marketing persons (?) had promised my that the Docket is consisting of the terms and conditions the outlet list etc. I refused several time of your proposal and at last gave my consent when they agreed to provide me supporting documents & terms and conditions. For your information I would like to say that different typical marketing people talked with me in this connection and their versions are not matching with each other. Recently on 23 of March 2009 I received a call from SBI Customer Care informing me that because of my good track record I have been choosen for Privilege circle programme & gave some minor details. I told them please don't tell over the phone please send me the written details of your terms & conditions, upon which I was informed that you will have to tell on phone only once you register we shall send all the details with the kit, but to my surprise I only received a kit & no papers about the terms & conditions. Now, i have been told by an executive at [protected] that if i open the kit to read the terms & conditions i will not be able to send it back & if i send it back i will be levied a charge of Rs.399.00 which is absolutely ridiculous.

                        This is to very clearly communicate that as a customer I have all the right to know as to what are the terms & conditions applicable on the Privilege Circle programme, before accepting the Kit.

                        Today, I have received a phone call from SBI customer care that due to good track record, I have been fortunate to have been selected for benefits under the SBI PRIVILEGE CIRCLE PROGRAM and explained me about the benefits. When I asked the Customer Relation Officer about the terms and conditions and financial requirement, he said on confirmation after verification I will be billed for Rs.6187/- and after wards they will send me the papers and terms and conditions for acceptance and signature. I questioned how they can bill just on confirmation on phone. I asked them to send me complete details of the program and after going thourgh them I can give my opinion . He said it is not possible to send any document unless confirmed. Then I asked him how to ascertain the facts of the program and benefits and he replied and suggested me to watch this website. I asked him to phone me on next Friday ie on 11.9.2009.                         i too had received similar call during mid november. i spoke over it to the customer care section, though their attitude was casual, i was told that i would receive the packet till december 10th. today on the 26th a packet is received and an sms on my phone about the sbi card bill that i need to pay by 12th january 2010. I am not in a postion to decide as to what i should do. as read in the above complaints i too had opted to read the terms and conditions before hand and get going with it either positively or negetively. i feel there are no t & c papers in the packet and i have just kept it quite sealed. i think i also should return the pack provided i don't need to run from pillar to post for refund or not paying the requisite deduction of 6 thousand and odd rupees.

To my surprise they responded very well & arranged for the accommodation but yes, they did annoyed me by asking for 3 choices of locations & dates.. How can anyone decide this in advance?? But...                         I am an sbi credit card holder and received a call from the bank or from a firm which the bank has provided my contact details, the call was regarding selling a product (Priviledge circle program) wherein a lot of things were promised, when i insisted on a literature i was told the same would be clearly mentioned on the product document which i would be receiving shortly and finally what was told was not fulfilled. I was also told that i will have an option to return the product if i am not satisfied with the offer and there would be a penelty of around Rs 500 which i would have to pay. I have already spoken to the call centre wherein i spoke with Mr Karan Sharma[protected] / 72 ) who misbehaved and was not keen in guiding me or helping me.

                        My greviance is that I was told that the vacation is for 2 adult & 2 children, the age for children was not specified on the call. However when i check the website it indicated just 1 children (details mentioned below & have been extracted from (http://www.sbicard.com/sbi/privilegeholiday_terms07.htm), again the literatute in the box indicates 2 children under age of 5. So there is a lot of confusion starting from the call to the details on the website & then on the literature.

                        I am really annoyed with the way i was treated by Mr.Karan Sharma and feel cheated.

                        Club Privilege Leisure Offer (Holiday Voucher)

                        • SBI CARDS (the "SBICPSL") in association with the PLAT5 CONSULTANCY offers to its existing Card members, holding a valid SBICPSL Credit Card (hereinafter referred to as "Card member") the Privilege Vacation Offer ("Offer"). Under the Offer the eligible Card members shall be entitled to avail the facility of Two Nights & Three Days holiday package ("Package") upon fulfillment of the terms and conditions contained herein. The terms indicated here-in are at all times to be read along with terms of the Card member Agreement governing the usage of the Card issued by the SBICPSL to the Card Member and is valid and subsisting during the Program Period and such other terms and conditions that the SBICPSL may deem appropriate in its sole discretion from time to time.
                        • The Card member is entitled to avail the Offer upon fulfillment of the eligibility criteria ("Eligibility") that may include the membership to SBI CARDS privilege circle & other fee programs, new acquisition of the SBICPSL Credit Card or purchases to the extent designated by the SBICPSL or such other criteria indicated by the SBICPSL in its sole discretion. Once the aforesaid requirements are met by the Card members, the SBICPSL shall send the Booking Voucher (hereinafter "Voucher") to the eligible Card members. In addition to the aforesaid Eligibility Fee, the Card members can avail the Offer only when he/she also pays the handling fee of Rs.250 along with the filled-up Voucher applicable towards the Offer (hereinafter "Handling Fee") and the realization thereof by PLAT5 CONSULTANCY or by its associate partners.
                        • SBICPSL in its sole discretion shall ascertain the Eligibility of the Card member strictly within the period starting from July 15 th, 2008 (Promotion Period). The welcome kit and other products will be dispatched to the eligible customers within fifteen (15) working days of his/her sale and consequent booking being accepted. The package under the offer would be valid only for 7 months from the date of dispatch of the voucher by Plat5 to the eligible card members.
                        • All Package(s) offered to the eligible Card members under the Offer shall be for a double-bedded accommodation on twin-sharing basis for period of 2 nights and 3 days which may be used only by a couple and a child below 5 yrs, at any one of the resorts/ hotels listed with PLAT5 CONSULTANCY and made available to you along with the welcome letter. It is clarified that the Package(s) are based on the standard 'European Plan' and no other amenities such as break fast are included. List of Hotels attached in the Annexure A. The 2nights and 3 days holiday voucher is governed with the exclusion periods &other terms as specified in the voucher.
                        • The Card members who are desirous to avail the Offer shall duly fill the Voucher as per the instructions and dispatch the same at the address stated therein along with the Handling Fee. The dispatching of the Voucher to PLAT5 CONSULTANCY and receipt thereof by PLAT5 CONSULTANCY should not be later than the specific validity date (Dispatch Period/Application Period) of the said Voucher(s) which shall be depicted (for the reference and the compliance by the Card members) on the respective Voucher(s) sent to them. The Card member shall ensure that his/her choice of proposed date of booking shall be strictly within the Validity Period applicable to the said Voucher and that there is an advance notice of at least 21 days from the date of booking requested for the Package and the receipt of the completed Voucher by PLAT5 CONSULTANCY (Notice Period).
                        • The Applying period for the Club Privilege Leisure Offer is 4 months from the date of dispatch period.
                        • As regards the aforesaid time period stipulations, it is clarified that no Voucher shall be accepted after the expiry of the Dispatch Period/ Application Period and/or insufficient Notice period and/or a request made for booking for dates beyond the Validity Period
                        • The Card members, upon receipt of the Voucher, must fill the Voucher as per the directions including but not limited to instructions with regards to choice of destinations and dates i.e. 3 choices of the destinations per date and distinct choices of dates for the 3 destinations. Furthermore, while filling and dispatching the Voucher, the Card member shall ensure the compliance with regard to the Validity Period, Dispatch Period/ Application Period and the Notice Period. The Card member upon receipt of the Voucher, shall dispatch the duly filled Voucher to the SBICPSL at Heritage Holidays Pvt Limited, c/of Plat 5 Consultancy Pvt ltd. F 138 First Floor, Rajouri Garden, Main Mkt, New Delhi, 110027 or at the address (as indicated in the Voucher).
                        It may be noted here that the promoter of this program is PLAT5 CONSULTANCY and they shall be solely responsible for fulfillment of the offer. SBICPSL shall not be responsible for fulfillment of the offer or deficiencies in the services rendered by PLAT 5 or its agents / employees. Details of terms for voucher shall be written in the voucher sent to the card member too & shall be referred by card-member from there too.
                        • Upon receipt of the duly filled up Voucher, PLAT5 CONSULTANCY shall contact the Card member for confirmation of the Package, on the Email address/telephone call stated in the Voucher usually within 15 days of such receipt or by such media as may be indicated by PLAT5 CONSULTANCY in the Voucher. The aforesaid contact by PLAT5 CONSULTANCY shall not in any event be less than 7 days before the date of booking to confirm the choices of destination and date thereof, as stated in the filled-up Voucher.
                        • For the Customer to be able to avail the Program, wherein holiday to select destinations is given to the Customer, The Customer must fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria, to the satisfaction of the SBICPSL, in accordance with policies of the SBICPSL as applicable from time to time:
                        • Where the Customer, more specifically existing SBICPSL Customers, have paid an amount towards Privilege Circle Fee
                        • It is clarified that the SBICPSL is not be responsible for the confirmation of the bookings or intimation to the Card members regarding or the status of the booking, etc. PLAT5 CONSULTANCY reserves the right to confirm any "ONE" of the dates and destination out of the choices that are mentioned by the Card member in the Voucher. It is clarified that the booking and confirmation of the Package is subject to availability of dates and destination and if the same are not available as per the choices of the Card member, PLAT5 CONSULTANCY shall exclusively attempt to alternate booking options to the Card member. However, at all times, no request for booking of Package under the Offer shall be accepted for the exclusion period as mentioned in the annexure.
                        • PLAT5 CONSULTANCY shall be responsible for all activities/ services including but not limited to, booking, confirming, corresponding with the Card member etc. No cancellations or amendments are permitted upon the issuance of confirmation letter of the booking, the issuance of which shall be deemed as the full availment of the Offer and/or the Package by the Card member.
                        • PLAT5 CONSULTANCY shall be liable for all/any representations/ communications made with the Card member(s) by Plat5 and SBICPSL has no liability towards the same. It is further clarified that in case the choices of destination and dates as chosen by the Card member are unavailable, then the Card member shall give PLAT5 CONSULTANCY alternate destinations and dates through a fresh Voucher. The said fresh Voucher shall be sent by PLAT5 CONSULTANCY to the said Card members, which shall be duly filled and sent by the Card member to PLAT5 CONSULTANCY. It is clarified that with regards the fresh Voucher submitted by the aforesaid Card members, the time periods applicable including those for Validity Date, Dispatch Date, etc. shall be extended for a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the fresh Voucher. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, the fresh Voucher(s) shall only be sent to such Card members who have complied with all the applicable terms of the Offer prior to the said dispatch of fresh Voucher(s) in the opinion of the SBICPSL and/or PLAT5 CONSULTANCY.
                        • The SBICPSL clarifies that the Vouchers issued to Card members cannot be used in conjunction with any alternative offer or promotion whatsoever and the Offer is for individual usage by the said Card member only. Further, the SBICPSL clarifies that the Voucher is non transferable/ non negotiable/ non endorsable and cannot be sold, resold, exchanged or redeemed for cash or any other alternative form whatsoever. The Card members understand that proof of posting shall not be a proof of receipt of the same by PLAT5 CONSULTANCY.
                        • It is also clarified that taxes (if any) with regard to the Offer and/or the Package including but not limited to, service charges, travel insurance, etc. are to be borne by the Card members. All such taxes/charges may have to be paid by the Card member to PLAT5 CONSULTANCY as stated herein above. Further, the amounts charged against/towards these taxes/charges are subject to change due to various circumstances beyond the SBICPSLs/PLAT5 CONSULTANCY's control and the SBICPSL and/or the PLAT5 CONSULTANCY shall not be liable for the same.
                        • It is clarified that in the event of any withdrawal or cancellation or any issue arising from non fulfillment or from the availing of the Offer within the validity period of the voucher by any of the Card members (due to any reason whatsoever), the Fee payment made by the Card members, if the same has been made, shall be the maximum liable amount to be refunded to the said Card members by the Plat5 . In case of non availability or any other unforeseen circumstances the maximum liability of PLAT5 Consultancy Pvt Ltd towards customer shall be the fee paid by the customer towards taking the offer. However, no refund of any amount paid by the Card member under the Offer shall be made after the confirmation letter of the Package has been issued to such Card member. The SBICPSL shall not have any liability whatsoever over the aforesaid refund and any Card members' complaints or claims thereof shall lie exclusively with PLAT5 CONSULTANCY.
                        • PLAT5 CONSULTANCY may choose to refuse, accept and acknowledge the Vouchers received if the same have been filled in or are submitted by/in favor of other persons other than those to whom the said Vouchers were issued by the SBICPSL/Plat5 Consultancy. The SBICPSL and/or PLAT5 CONSULTANCY shall not be held responsible for any claims for Vouchers that are not delivered at the first instance from the SBICPSL, lost for any reason whatsoever, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, late or mutilated.
                        • It is clearly stated that the SBICPSL shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable for any services related to the Offer including dispatch of Vouchers, receipt thereof by the Card members, damage, mutilation or loss of Voucher during mail transit, etc. The SBICPSL's responsibility under the Offer is limited to communicating the details of the Offer to the Card members PLAT5 consultancy shall in its sole discretion send the Vouchers to the Card members eligible for availing the Offer, in accordance with its policies as applicable from time to time. The SBICPSL shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered (including loss of life) to an Card member directly or indirectly, by use or non use of any other products/services offered under the Offer / Package.
                        • The SBICPSL does not hold any warranty or makes any representation with regard to the delivery, quality, availability, merchantability or suitability of the services as may be offered under the present Offer and/or Package and the SBICPSL shall not entertain or be responsible for any communication in this regard.
                        • Under the Offer, all destinations/ dates shall be subject to promotional availability & change, for instance during special events and festivals, availability of destinations / dates may be more restricted. No bookings of Package under the Offer shall be accepted for the Exclusion Period. Hence, the Card member are informed that details of a particular destinations / properties confirmation, even after being agreed to by PLAT5 CONSULTANCY, may be altered on account of various reasons. In the event of such alteration, PLAT5 CONSULTANCY or the SBICPSL shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever.
                        • The Terms & Conditions as stated herein are not exhaustive and can be modified, altered by the SBICPSL in its sole discretion at any time whatsoever. The SBICPSL reserves the right at any time without previous notice to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any Terms and Conditions, including the number of Card members to be identified, any charges that may be levied in light of provision of the Offer / Package, etc. Nothing contained herein amounts to a commitment by the SBICPSL to conduct further, similar or any other scheme.
                        • The availing of the of the Offer / Package by the Card members is voluntary and if any Card members choose not to avail the Offer / Package, then he/she may inform/intimate the SBICPSL in this regard in the manner as indicated by the SBICPSL in its sole discretion from time to time. The availing of the Offer / Package shall be strictly in accordance with applicable law, including any amendment, modification or re-enactment thereof. SBICPSL reserves the right to refuse, revoke and/or discontinue the Offer to any Card member without having to cite any reason and/or any other obligation whatsoever towards the said Card member.                         I am failing to understand how so many people are doubting the credibility of a bank like SBI... I have personally availed this offer from SBI in association with PLAT5 & as a service provider the plat5 team was wonderful... They did a brilliant job in justifying their trust which SBI has put in them...

                        But after reading so much negative i am in trauma that how & why did it happen.. why there are so many people grumbling about the services not delivered & nobody is looking at the benefits of the offer..

                        I being an old customer with SBI, am not able to digest that what ever written above is true. Would personally investigate it & am sure its all fake.

                        Quite surprising that so many people are doubting the credibility of a bank like SBI.. I am a member of the bank for very long time & I have received many calls for such programs & offers..Its obviously my wish whether or not i should take these offers..

                        The bank never forced me to take it but here its appearing that people were forced to take the program & they are complaining about it now.. I don't think any service provider can force any of its customers to take any thing without their consent..

                        I took the Privilege Circle Program only when i was convinced that i need the benefits & would avail them.Don't want to pin point anybody here but yes would like to say, if the bank doesn't know about the offer & its customers are receiving the calls then bank must keep a check on this..

                        If bank has tied up with any company it should be conveyed to the employees that we have an association with so & so..in this case it is some Plat5.. I personally being the one who has availed these offers can say that plat5 is one of the best service providers.. they assisted in the possible way they can..Rest it is both the companies who has to see how it is going on!!!

                        Truly guys... we have been fully misleaded with a very fake offer. We should raise our voices to stop being mischeated like this. SBI would pay for it in terms of their status, name and fame in the country. THE SBI ventures with Private Sector Heritage Holidays are really money minting and all FAKE...

                        Hi everyone.. my experience with the team was very different as to what is mentioned here.. everybody is pointing at the bank & complaining about the services not delivered but my point is why is no one looking at the benefits which are being offered through the program... The benefits are such that we can save a lot & it would be convenient for us to get the bookings.
                        Yes i am also agree to all o[censored]s . Some days before i also took that SBI customer Privelage policy from SBI on my Credit card.
                        I have filled up the forms and sent them to the concern department. Thats all no reply from those guys then after.
                        I have followed up to find out the update on my vochers. Frequently i have called up and alos wrote them throught mails as i need to blcok the tickets i need confirmation on my hotel booking. Now the time is very near by for my holiday and i also took leave for me and for my family to go for a nice holiday but SBI Privilege Circle programme is not confirming the hotel bookinga and i fell it is better for every on o[censored]s to go for a holiday with out Privilege Circle programme .i mean it would be good if we plan and book on our own.

                        please do not go for SBI Privilege Circle programme . they will call us until they deduct our money from our cards. later on they(Bank) won't do any follow up or neither communication to the customer. Very much disappointed with SBI Privilege Circle programme .My sincere advice to all of SBI Credit card members is not to Bookholiday through SBI Privilege Circle programme and loose the moeny and it is waste of time in following up because our money will be struck with them(SBI BANK) and there is no option to cancel the booking.

                        SBI PRIVILEGE CIRCLE — Trap By SBI Privilege Circle

                        I received call on 13Aug regarding privilege circle offer. I replied to first call to send me related document/mail for details and then I can accept/reject. The person told that I will get another call for verification.

                        In the second call the person asked about my personal details for verification. At the end of the call he told I will be billed for amount 6067 and it would be debited from my credit account on 17Aug,2011 and told me to send a welcome kit & a polo watch.

                        I called to SBI card customer care and told her not be able to receive any kit from them. She told me that they have no connection with SBI Privilege circle and also gave me a land-line number([protected]). But when i called to that number, they further gave a new number([protected]). There was no response on last dialled number.

                        After that I received a message from SBI card on 19Aug,2011 that they are converted my transaction of Rs.6067 done on 17Aug,2011 to easy installment in six months.

                        I have already paid two installments of Rs.1084.48 each. But until now, there is no delivery of welcome kit or any document regarding scheme to me.

                        I called to those numbers many times and those people were not attending any call. If there is no proper action taken by SBI Privilege Circle on time, I am not going to pay any further installments and also will complaint in Consumer court.

                        I received a call today (December 23, 2011) first from a gentleman speaking in Hindi saying that based on my SBI credit card history they have found me to be most prompt and sincere in my repayment history, and accordingly willing to give me a "bonanza" of offers. After verifying my postal address, card logo and expiry date, he offered me a gift bouquet from Reebok worth Rs 2500, followed by two holiday offers for me and my family at four star hotels in India or abroad, twice in a period of eight months, and thirdly an offer of Rs2000 back as reimbursement for food taken outside the hotel. The telephone caller makes it so attractive that it is hard to say "no" to him! In the end, he told me as a passing by comment that they will charge me Rs6300 in my credit card on my acceptance. I said I can not agree to it, unless I see the brochures and documents in black and white. Then he disconnected the phone, which was immediately followed by his superior, again trying to convince me to accept it in Hindi. I asked him to speak in English, but he could not and passed it on to a lady. She told the same story and tried to convince me. I said a firm "No" unless they send all the documents by post, and I study if it is genuine. I asked her whether she belongs to SBI card, and she revealed the truth that she is calling from one company called "Dining India" based in New Delhi. Is this company genuinely the affiliate of SBI cards? The lady then disconnected the phone informing me that she will talk to her superior and get back to me to answer my condition. Therefore, this is a fraudulent proposition, and one has to be very careful with these nice talkers.
                        there are few positive feedback given some members. but I seriously doubt these people are of PLAT 5 company only. Otherwise a satisfied customer why should visit and give feed back in Consumer complaint forum. just think. PLAT5 communications is totally suspicious so I have refused the offer

                        So beware and stay away. Nothing is charity in the business...

                          I have my Saving in SBI Deccan Gymkhana Branch In Pune.
                          My saving account no. is [protected]. I have Recurring deposit in same branch the recurring account no is [protected].The Mturity date for this R.D. is 16th of October 2008.
                          Which was passed before 4 working days.
                          I have requested to the bank to deposit R.D. amount of Rs.62647.00 in my saving account. On 17th October 2008 when I gave enquiry call with Officer Regarding the amount not deposited in my saving account, she told that there was some problem with my account.and she told me to call after 1 hours. But next time when I called her no positive response I got from her. On the next day (Saturday) I went to the bank personally to see what is the problem but the officer told me to wait.I asked her to tell me the status of my issue but she did’t replied.she send me to bank maneger, cash maneger, customer care officer etc. I was in the bank for three hours. But no one responding me. And lastly at the time of bank closing they told me to call on Monday and no need to come to the bank.
                          On Monday 20th October 2008 when I have called the Officer she told me that she cant understand the problem and she cant do any thing.and told me to call in the afternoon.
                          In afternoon when I called back she told me to talk with her senior officer, and she transfer my call to him, but for very long time I haven’t got any reply. So I have cut the call and trying to call backe to the officer but at this time she didn’t pick my fon. I was trying for half an hour. Mean while once my fon was received but when I told my name to the person I was put down. After some time my fon was picked by the officer It was around 4.15pm, when I asked her atleast tell the status of the issue or any action which I need to take, or to give me customer care Number. She shouted me ant cut my phone.
                          Right now I don’t have any information regarding my money, I am not getting any response regarding this.

                          Can you suggest me what can I do regarding this?

                          Whoever post this complaint, i am completely agree with him. I have my NRI account in the deccan Gymkhana branch, my international ATM card was spoiled (quality of card they provide is really pathetic) so i went to apply another card. I went to NRI counter that lady send me to customer care counter as usual long que was there, but nobody was siting on the counter. After1 hour lady come she told she is busy, but in fact i saw the same lady behind me was chating with some other colleauge on some non sence issue. Then when i ask her about the ATM card application she gave me some form, i filled it and give it back to her with all necesorry documents, she told me the card will come to my home adrress in 15 days time. One and half month pass the card didnt came, in between i went and enquire in the bank they gave me some chennai phone no. i call there they said they aslo dont know about the card, then after 2 months i went to bank and told the matter, one lady said if its NRI card then it will come to bank, so she will have a look but then she told me to wait and i almost wait 2 hours then she gave me big bunch of card and told me find my name there, so i did search there and the envelop was there, they already cancel the envelop and was going to send to chennai, my full address was there my mobile no. was there but they didnt bother about to call and infrom, this pity of SBI. When i found my card the first thing card was not international ATM card they just issue me domestic card when i told them they said they can't do anything, so to go thourgh all this process it was almost 4.00pm then i went to get my pin on other counter lady was just simply chating with other lady i ask her to give me pin, she was looking at me like i did something wrong, she told me rudely its 4.00pm and bank is closed, since i spent whole day there and now this lady was telling me the bank is close so i should come tomarrow what kind of behavior is this? definately not friendly and not humans. so i was thinking when we are working out of out own country we do banking there they are so friendly and supportive and they always told us indian banking system is crap, but i do believe since i went to this. Anyway nothing is going to change but just read this person pain and i feel like to tell this thats all...

I am millions miles away from the genuine and authentic investigation and inquiry. No inquiry, investigation were executed against the F.I.R lodged by my wife. It is very painful, lamentable as well as heart rendering, breath taking affair to me and my family. My heart bursts into guffaw when I see the nature of the inquiry and investigation. One thing is as clear as crystal to me that the law and the task of the law enforcing agencies vary from man to man. A new proverb is going to take birth very soon that "Justice for the rich and Injustice is for the poor" A rich reserves the right to indulge in any kind of heinous business but the poor is restricted to involve in any type of excellent deeds" To see all these my heart is about to come in the mouth and the ground under my feet gets shook. In a word all types of Law are for the poorest and the richest will enjoy the richest judgments from all quarters.

                          After coming form the DumDum Central Jail, I mat with the BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and asked him politely: “ SIR I FAILED TO UNDERSTAND THAT I MADE SO MANY ENTIRIES INTO YOUR G.D.E. BUT YET NO ACTION SO FAR HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN FORM YOURSELF” then BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, went through all my papers (20 pcs. Adult S.M.S., Adult picture with the boy, G.D.E, MANY MANY OTHER PAPERS RELATED TO MY CASE and TWO c.d.). After seeing all my papers he told me that I cannot take any action until and unless you lodge a case against all of them.

                          Then I Prayed to the Ld. C.J.M at Barasat court to lodge the case, against the alleged person. (the payer to the Ld. C.J.M. is enclosed which is self-explanatory) after filing the case the BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, in stead of taking not any take proper investigation/ not take any action/ not take any type of query to recover my Cash and Gold form the house of Shankar Kumar Samanta, The BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, took my case as a Golden Goose, and how much money BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, has taken is well known to them. Neither he took any take proper investigation/ not take any action/not take any type of query nor he did roundup them against my case.

                          When I saw that already near by 70-80 days went by “ I went to the BAGUIATI P.S. to know the status of the case then BAGUIATI POLICE I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, became outraged me and my mother that if you ask about Shankar Kumar Samanta and his family I will sentence you and your family in the Jail, all their languages is so much filthy dirty which I cannot express front of you.
                          As I’m 100 percent innocent so I screw up my courage to place my grievances to every body in order to get redress. So I want to let my matter informed all the Indian and others. I wrote my matter to our local P.S., Local Councilor, all M.P., M.L.A., Minister in W.B. and Other States, C.M. in W.B., CBI Department, CID Department, S.P. and Dy.S.P.(N.) 24 Parganas, DGP Bhupindar Singh, All the I.P.S. AND I.A.S. OFFICERS. Governor in W.B, and President in India. P.M. in India, National/International Human rights department, AAP KI KACHEHRI – KIRAN KE SAATH, Kolkata Police, and all police officers in W.B. informed Kolkata Commissioner of Police, Manager S.B.I.-Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No.[protected]. My nation, all of the news channels, and all press, Talking with some NGO’s: 1. Universal Right and Duty for Human to Abide URDHA, 2. Human Right Commission’s Mr. Ujjal Paul and Mr. Shibaji Dasgupta. 3. Bhatat Bachao Sangathan BBS. 4. Forum for Social Justice and Development FSJD. 5. Ajjtak News Channel’s Miss Menogya. and many more, (anybody can’t help me/ fight for truth /don’t take proper investigation/do not take any action/don’t take any type of query/ Still Now, many department told does not comes under the purview of our department. Then my question is where I go now? I see they all are in sound asleep. The reason is best known to them.

                            9th oct 2008 I used my SBI debit card for withdrawing Rs2500 and I received money and balance was found ok. The next day when I notice my passbook entry, there was twice deduction of Rs 2500 from my account. I reported the matter to customer care and they told to wait for 24 hrs, if it is not returned back to my account then write a letter to my SBI- branch. Subsequently I waited and on 11th oct I wrote a complain and was assured that it will be done in weeks time. But still now it is not done. Please take care during your debit/ATM withdrawl.

                            I a pensioner, retired school teacher clicked to withdraw Rs. 20000/- from my ATM-CUM-DEBIT CARD, bearing no.[protected], on 12th of September 2011, surprised to get only Rs. 19000/- from a State Bank ATM machine, situated at S.V road, Mumbai, one thousand short, hence 20000/- has been debited from my account and I got the slip of 20000/. instead ofRs.19000/-.The said ATM ID No. is S10B00030036. The receipt TXN No. is 1404.
                            Immediately I rushed to State Bank, Jogeshwari (West) Mumbai branch, witch's Code branch No. is 4626, where I am having a pensioner saving account bearing No. [protected] and approached the concerned bank branch officer Mrs.Vina, who asked me to fill up 'Letter o[censored]ndertaking' along with withdrawal receipt, but even after passing about three weeks the 'dubbed' one thousand from your ATM has not been credited in my account yet. Mrs. Vina merely passed on me complaint No.[protected] for reference without any sympathy or help.
                            Kindly look into the matter and managed to credit Rs.1000/- immediately in my account, being a pensioner I can't bear or digest this 'robbed ' money easily!

                              I used my Atm cum debit card to shop for 9300 rupee but sbi has debited two times 9300 from a/c.
                              I have signed only one charge slip of 9300 so how can they debit my a/c twice and now not returning money to me.
                              They asked to check with Merchant, per sbi, money is gone to merchant's a/c under two different transaction id's.
                              I have checked with Merchant and spoke to their Finance and HDFC Bank A/c manager, and they have provided their account statement along with sales records

                              which prove that they have not received money twice, they got only time payment.
                              But SBI debited twice of 9300 from my savings a/c is now not returning my money nor investigating. Its been 8th day today since 13th october 2008 and I have

                              been asking for my money refund from all, right from merchant where my card was swapped to sbi branch manager where i hold my savings a/c to dgm sbi mumbai

                              and sbi local head office delhi grivance cell but no one is responding, they dont pick phones on numbers given on internet while dgm mumbai customer care

                              officers disconnected my call saying delhi is not in their responsibility.

                              Is there any body/institution which can help me get my money back, the 9300 amount might not be big for all but its my hard earned money, i am a service

                              class person, so its big for me.
                              Where do we keep our small savings, homes are not safe, private banks can declare themselves bankrupt and eat money anytime, only left option was

                              nationalized banks, we all know how sarkari they are but they also are at frauds nows, where do we go???????????
                              Can someone help stop this fraud and get my money back.

                              I have used my debit card to recharge my mobile number many times. But 21st july 10 they debitted 990 Rs. from my account with title POS PRCH and saying that we are unable to view the credit terms. How is it possible to debit from my a/c and credit the money in an unknown a/c. I have added ticket about this issue two times to SBI customer care and there is no revert from them till now.
                              Be careful about all NRI customers,

                              i read your comments and very much regretted. The SBI is looting the money in several ways for e.g it is looting the NRI transaction money without showing in the account atleast 30 dollars for every entry.It is reported to concerned branch but they are speaking same like govt. drepartments without any responsibility.

                              Be careful about these type of SBI transactional theft and let it be kwnon thro google and twittes to all customers.

                                Dear Sir/Madam

                                I am a saving bank account holder (jointly with my wife) (account no. [protected]) of State Bank of India Dum Dum Branch (Br. code 2054). I work outside west bengal and my residence at Dum Dum. I need a bank statement of last six months for Visa clearance. My wife who is presently staying in West Bengal went to the above mentioned branch of SBI to get this bank Statement since i was out of station at that time. She was outrightly denied when she asked for this bankstatament.When i got this information from my wife over telephone i called the bank immediately & wanted to speak to the Bank Manager.A reply came that Bank Manager has gone outside the Bank while my wife who was in the bank at that time told that the Bank manager is sitting in front of her.
                                This kind of irresponsible behaivior is highly objectiionable.
                                Please see into this matter so that i can get the Bank Statement at the earliest.

                                  I have been receiving abuses and threats on my telephone at my residence from some persons claiming to be from SBI Credit Card, Chennai. They allege that my husband Dr.K.A.Kumar is a fraud and defaulter of the settlement Rs.3, 500/- and threatens that we will have to face dire consequences. They use very abusive and arrogant language to pass these threats.

                                  My husband informs me that he had terminated his credit card thrust on him several years back, which he had never used and for several years did not receive any account details or demand notice. Since the last few months he is also receiving repeated telephone threats and physical affront to his working place.

                                  I am deeply distressed by this illegal and anti-social harassment inflicted on me. The arrogant tone and threatening content of these telephone messages make me quite anxious about the safety of my family.

                                  I request that immediate steps may be taken to put an end to this illegal anti-social activity emerging from one of your offices.

                                  Kindly note that after a brief respite threats and abuses from the ‘SBI Card Division’, Chennai have restarted reaching my telephones. My wife complaints she is also getting wild abuses and threats on our residential telephone when I am not at home.

                                  For a self- declared and unsustainable settlement claim of Rs. 3, 500/- on a terminated credit card this illegal and inhuman practice continues unabated, despite myself having brought this to your attention. Instead of furnishing a demand notice with statement of accounts, which I have requested (if at all there is any claim) these illegal practices are being carried out relentlessly.

                                  I request you to take immediate steps as below:

                                  1. To put an end firmly to this ongoing harassment to which my wife and myself are being subjected.
                                  2. Take appropriate action against these persons who are resorting to such illegal means.

                                  I was offered a Loan of Rs. 20, 000 by SBI Card which I accepted.
                                  I withdrew Cash amounting to Rs 5, 000 from the ATM.
                                  I purchased a Web site from GoDaddy.com for Rs. 500 approx() usind SBI Card.

                                  I have Repayed every paisa of the Principal & Interest & Taxes on the amounts stated Above.

                                  I repayed the Last instalment amounting to Rs 1100. After which I received a statement showing an amount of Rs. 480 plus outstanding in my account. This included outstanding balance of Rs 80(approx) and a Penalty of Rs 350 for late payment. And the Statement showed my account as BLOCKED.

                                  I called the customer care and protested the penalty of Rs 350 on an outstanding balance of just Rs. 80 and expressed my desire to close my account with immediate effect.

                                  The customer care executive very politely told me that the Penalty can be waived off but I will have to deposit the Balance Outstanding + Govt Taxes and as far as closing of the account is concerned, your account is already closed and you can dispose off the Credit Card by cutting in diogonally into 4 pieces.

                                  I followed his advice and deposited Rs 150 in the SBI account( for good riddance).

                                  Since then SBI card is charging me Rs. 350 each month as late payment penalty.
                                  They are now demanding Rs 5000 plus as outstanding balance in my account.

                                  During the period once I was offered a Settlement for Rs 740. I accepted the offer but no one showed up to collect the amount. Later I was told that the offer was a mistake and we do not settle for anything less that Rs. 1000.

                                  Now I am receiving around 10 MISSED CALLS EACH DAY from SBI Card.

                                  I am receiving THREATENING MESSAGES stating that SBI card will start Calling my friends and relatives for the recovery of the dues.

                                  I am willing to pay every paisa of Principal, Interest or Govt taxes outstanding in my account. As far as penalty is concerned.. I am readly to face any legal action and I shall pay penalty only if determined payable by a “Court ”

                                  Why does’nt SBI card take me to court if it thinks the amount they claim from me is justified?
                                  What Mrs Kumar is saying is very true, even I am facing such an issue. The tele callers are highly impolite. As of now I have been writing to their SBI Card redressal cell, but it is been more than a month & still the calls continues. I would still await their response, if not will file a complaint.

                                        've my atm card is not working.bearing no.[protected] and i've submited my request on 15.10.2008 and as advised by the bank authorities SBI branch, boring canal road, rajapool, patna.so, plz closed my atm card. I request your good self to kindly arrange to issue a duplicate atm card immediately without loss of time and do the needful .
