I, Credit Card Holder (No [protected]), already made full & final payment as advised by your customer service department on telephone. But till date I am receiving your credit card bill of late payment fees. I surprised about this statments why & what kind of late fees you charged in the statements as I already closed my Credit card no [protected] .

SBI Credit Card — Late payment fee against Insurance amount

Hi,
I am using SBI card since 3 years. I payed all due amount in last February, 2008 and I am not using this card, not even checking the monthly statement. When I opened the statement in July month the amount due was showing 1052/-. They showed 370/- late payment fee on insurance amount for last two months. When called customer care they said they are helpless and I have to pay the amount. While I am applying for card I didn't knowingly signed any document for an insurance. Should I have to pay late fee on Insurance amount? Anybody please suggest me.

Dear Indians, it is a matter of surprise that the SBI are real dishonest and are busy in unfair trade practices.My father had a saving bank account in SBI, Medical college Branch, JABALPUR. He, my father, Late Captain RATAN CHAND DONGRIA, of BHATAPARA, expired on 4th May !984. Soon after this thirteenth day ceremony, I submitted his death certificate and claim to return the money. From May 1984 to October 2008, it has taken more than 24 years, the bank says, we are honest, we will pay your father's money.But no one knows how many years it will take, to get back few hundred rupees.All these 24 years, it has costed me more than few millions in corrrespondances, phones, letters, faxes, emails. All civilised efforts to get back money is failure with SBI.I have made it clear in my will, never to put any omney in SBI. The 24th generation will surely get this money. Saare jahan se achcha, Chor, BE-iman-state bank hamara.

I am in same situation. We live out of India for the last 40 years. My father had his pension in Syndicate Bank. After his death at 96 years.

I went to India to collect the money with his death certificate attested by Lawyers, Govt. Services, Indian Consulate. Got his WILL attested same way in which I am the Executor of the WILL. Got Nomination papers from my siblings in my name, All Bank books, His passport, my passport with his name in, All documents what they asked for. They saw every document and approved to send the money to our account.

All this was no avail. Once I left India after two months of running around Bank send me a letter to my address in Canada that Bank want his WILL Probated, Need form 99 attested by Two respectable customers known to branch and to my father.
Need two guarantors who are respectable account holders and known to bank and us.
How do I know any one who is the branch customer when I am living out of India for the last 40 years.
This is ridiculous of the Bank and the banking system in India. No one is there to help us.

My credit card No. is [protected].Till date I have not received the statement for july 08 & aug08 also. today i got a sms from sbi card i.e. my o/s amt. is rs.3575-78. whenever it was never used by me. Business associates of sbi card called me several time, offering Encash amount of loan Rs 38000-00 on card. On their pressure, i accepted.They sent me the draft which is not received by me & not used by me. loan's EMI charging by you. many times your business asso. also presurise me to deposit socalled amt. which not used by me I always request through first call that i dont want any type of loan. please take necessary action and reverse all wrong intries on my cr. card a/c. Thanking you.

Plz refer to my E-mail dated 19-09-08, where in I have send the following message to your office
"With reference to above kindly note that, on[protected], , i had deposited rs-500 of 500 in the name of my daughter sushmita tunga and sangita tunga in your bhubaneswar main branch for appearing the probationary officers examination.Accordingly the bank has alloted two journal number[protected] was alloted to sushmita tunga and 12330353 was alloted to sangita tunga.When both the journal numbers were fed in the internet the journal numbers were not accepted by the internet as both of them are secured 58% marks in their intermediate examination., Othewise they are eligiable." Till date I have not received any communication from your end.

In View of the above I request your good office to enquire into the matter and arrange to refund me the deposited amount at your earliest convnience in the following address.

SBI — SBI Card

I have an SBI credit card since 2006, I subscribed for E-statement in dec-07 since then I am neither receiving bills through email nor through post/courier. I raised complaint with SBI and differed payment, but I was given a reason that I should make payments based on charge slip. I made an interim payment in march-08, but till date i have not received any bills from SBI.

Isn’t this cheating from the bank? I have mailed several times to cards head, but still no result they have a standard system reply.

They don’t have any focus towards customers, very bad and pathetic service. Now advise me how to claim reimbursement for late payment and interest.

Sir,

I am holder of sbicard wants to request to please sent me monthly statement. I have complained many time on your toll free no, even sent complaint in this complaint form. But since June 2008 I have not received any statement. Your complaint officer told that they will sent the statement on my mail or by post and I will receive it within seven days. The same thing is told me atleast 10 to 15 times, but no statement is been received. I want to cancell my sbicard because of such bad service given by you. I also think to complaint to Consumer Forum about this. How could I make monthly payment. I am paying Rs. 3, 000/- every month since from july but there is not much more difference in my balance. How could I know that what charges you are leving on me.
Please sent me the statement within seven days as I want to discontinue my sbicard and please donot let me to go to consumer forum.

This is concern of Fixed deposit.
My mother has acount in SBI branch, Allahabad. She made a fixed deposit at SBI branch through the account cheaque . Someone has stolen my mother fixed paper and pass book from house. Then I informed the bank. They are telling you did not make any fixed deposit here. How can bank employee do this scam? They are telling we can't check the back dated cheque. In my account, there is no record for the amount. The amount is more than 1 lac rupees. What should we do against the bank manager and bank staff?

Please help me for the same.

Instead of salary other welfare work of society suffering budly due to negligence of SBI MLNREC Teliarganj

I left India last month to stay with my son in California. To transact online (e.g change personal details, issue of draft, add names for Visa money transfer etc., ) I was given a password. This is not working at all. To get confirmation for new additions they send a password to the old mobile. ( I sent mail about surrender of mobile in India and posted tickets on 17th Aug 2008 and on 19th Aug 2008. No reply so far) Just imagine sending a message to the old mobile in India which is already dead, for confirmation of new transactions/adding new mobile number! Ridiculous isn't it? It is going on for the past 15 days. No reply from them. I have to find a new way to pay my Credit card payment. Can somebody help me?

PRIL — debit for duplicate issue of PIN

received chequebook, telebanking pin, debit card card Nos.[protected] on 27/12/2007. But not received PIN no. Informed to concerned branch(GOLPARK-KOLKATA).After one month received two PIN no. at a time & Rs. 58/- is debited from my A/C for duplicate PIN no. But why it is so?

With reference to the above account, I had purchased a mobile phone through my Debit card from Big Bazar, Sahara Ganj, Shahnajaf Raod, Hazratganj, Lucknow on 27/12/2008. But my account has been debited twice for the same amount of Rs 7270/-, as my bank account debited on 27/12/2008. I had gone and talked to the shopkeeper”BIG BAZAR” and they assured that they have received only Rs 7270/-. I have also signed only once on the payment voucher. Please do the needful and give credit to my accountfor Rs 7270/.

I enclosed herewith the Bank statement and the transaction bill for your kind attention.

I am moving around the Branch from last three months, but I am not getting any hope to get the amount. I would have no other option then to go to lodge an FIR against you and to consumer forum.

I have made 4 complaints on this issue. Till now it remains unresolved and no representative has contacted me though every time I make a complaint I have been told that I will get a response within 48 hours.

My complaint nos. are :[protected],[protected], [protected].
I do not think SBI is interested in resolving this issue. I have given up. I have also decided that I will not use SBI card any more. The last bill has been settled by me. The renewal card which has been received by me effective from October is being cancelled by me alongwith my wife's add on card.

I hold saving accounts in SBI, PBB, S.P.Road, Secunderabad. I have drawn 1000/- from SBI ATM, YMCA Secunderabad. But when i checked my balance, 1000/- were deducted twice. I have given 3 written complaints in the Branch.Till now no positive response.What would be the case if i have drawn 10000/- ? Dear Sir,

I have a CC account with your bank in your G.T road branch in the name of Roongta Ispat Udyog with account no [protected] and I would like to stop my CC limit with you and want you to release my mortgage property papers with you.

I would also like to state the reasons which you would like to know why I want to discontinue my CC limit with your bank, the reasons are as under:

1. Misbehaviors and non cooperative attitude of your staff at SMECCC, Mr. D.K Agarwal in particular.

2. Although the renewal process was done by your SMECCC branch in DEC 07 or JAN 08 they stopped my DP during that period for 2 to 3 months.

3. They again stopped my account DP in April 08 asking for the final balance sheet for the year ending 31 March 08, which is not feasible.

4. Mr D.K Agarwal sent communications over phone and mail asking repetitively for estimated and projected balance sheet. His intentions were always to harass us by one way or the other. Mr. D.K Agarwal’s behavior is very unprofessional. This is not a personal opinion but the opinion of all fellow customers whom I interact with.

5. Even after continuously informing the senior officials of the branch about this misbehavior, no action was taken.

I would also like to bring to your notice that our account with G.T Road branch is since 1995 and with SBI since 1969. And it is noteworthy that I got the CC limit of Rs. 2500000 (Twenty Five Lac) with HDFC bank within 15 days without the need of visiting their bank even once.

Despite all this I will continue my account with you as the facilities and services which I get at the G.T Road branch and the behavior of the employees there is commendable.

My name is Sandeep Bhargava and I am son of Mr. Swadesh Kumar Bhargava who is looking forward to have loan to facilitate his business. He is at the age of 69 trying to get loan which he applied in the month of Feb. 2009...Now people in Main Branch like Mr. Agarwal & Mr. Arvind Diwedi not co-operating rather on daily basis my father is visiting the main branch but not able to get the loan...These people are not co-operative and trying to convey their officer attitude...On 20th of August they asked my father to have an current account in Canal Road, Kanpur branch where also he faced lot of problem like non co-opeartive staff and no one was guiding to fill the account opening form...after a week they opened the account on 28th of August and after that Mr. Agarwal told that he has forwarded the file to Mr. Arvind who has always been on some survey and no one is giving his phone number even ...which disabled us to contact him as he is never found on his desk...

One more major problem is that as my father's firm M/s-Kumar Brothers, A/c No. [protected] at Canal Road, Kanpur Branch...which is a partnership firm and other part is my grandmother who has already crossed 87 years of age...now Mr. Agarwal and other staff person asking her to bring to the branch office...

Kindly take some action to grant the loan otherwise these people should refuse to provide the loan...so that we could take some other path to run our business...

Payment cheque of amount 10255.89 was dropped quite within time at the drop box location in sbi Tel bhawan branch which was collected by local sbi card executive but lost it before sending it for clearance .. The details of cheque was uploaded in the account details given to the executive on call from gurgaon .Now often on daily i am being disturbed for non payment inspite of details given no efforts have been made to search out lost cheque from the drop box..I need a satisfactory reply for this that where my cheque has gone from authorised drop box????

On 20/04/2009, I went to SBI ATM (Opposite to Shoppers stop, Andheri (W)) to withdraw some amount. I was needed Rs. 40000/-, so I decided to get it in two parts. In first part I choose Rs.25000/- & gave the instructions to dispense Rs.25000/- and I got Rs 25000/-. In the second part I choose Rs.15000/- & gave the instruction to dispense Rs.15000/, but I didn't get. A message that flashed on the screen was “Cash can't be dispensed" & I didn't get my money. After that I checked my balance, and then it showed that my account was debited by (Rs.25000 + Rs.15000). That is I got only Rs.25000/- but didn’t get Rs.15000/-, and my account was debited by Rs.40000/- instead of Rs.25000/- . Also there were two different quotes for both transactions (for Rs.25000/- & for Rs.15000/-). For Rs.25000/-, it was ATM-WDL, & for Rs.15000/- it was CSH-WDL. After completion of the transactions I waited outside the ATM for 1-2 hours, but nothing happened. Again I checked my balance, but it was useless. After that I returned.
The next morning (21st April, 2009) I went to withdraw money from the YES bank ATM, near TATA Compound, IRLA, Andheri (W).I was needed Rs.22000/-. So first I gave instructions to dispense cash Rs.15000/- & I got the cash. For 2nd transaction I gave instructions to dispense cash Rs.7000/- but I didn’t get. There was a message that flashed on screen was “your Time is out so transaction is not completed” & I didn’t get the money. Again I inserted my ATM to withdraw the amount & mentioned the same amount & followed the same procedure. This time I got my money. While checking the account balance in YES Bank ATM it was showing “0” balance, so I decided to check my account balance later on. After 2-3 hours I visited a nearby SBI ATM centre & checked the balance. I was surprised that the amount Rs.7000/- was deducted 2 times instead of 1. That is from YES BANK ATM I withdrew Rs.22000/- only, but my account balance was debited by Rs.29000/-.

Till now my Account has not been credited. So, I request the concerned person to please help me & credit the said amount (Rs.22000/-) into my account (SBI-Account number- [protected]). For this I will always be grateful to you.

On 01.08.2009 when I got mini statement by using ATM Card for confirmation of the same, I found that Rs. 6, 000=00, Rs.3, 000=00 & Rs.6, 000=00 total Rs. 15, 000=00 have already been withdrawn from the said account on 22.07.2009, 27.07.2009 & 30.07.2009 respectively that too from ATM. Is it possible that without using my ATM Card someone can withdraw money from the account by using PIN only, if any how known to him.

I would like to inform you that, I have done some withdrawal from Corp Bank ATM on 13/10/2009 at 21:47, but I did not receive the amount of Rs. 3000/- from the machine, instead it has been debited to my account. (see attached ATM slip and bank transaction details) for your quick reference.

Since I did not receive the amount from the ATM machine the amount has to credit back to my account mentioned above.

So, my question is if I not geting one single rupees from the ATM then why money was deducting from my A/C.

If this is the matter then I have to go to Consumer Court.Because SBI told that was a valid transaction.

Unfortunately no cash delevered by that atm mechine and no slips too. the monitor showed as error in machine. but in my account no [protected] was debited by the same amount.

i enquired at ICICI bant at asrao nagar branch today evening. they replied to give a compliant at SBI, nfc branch. please do the needful and kindly credit my amount rs.400/- urgently.

I went to SBBJ ATM in Bharatpur ( Near of regional office, circular road) to withdraw Rs 10000 using my PNB ATM card on 8-3-2010. No cash came out of the machine and also no transaction slip came out stating that the transaction failed. On the very next day I came to know that Rs 10000 was deducted from my PNB account. I reported it to the bank on that day. PNB could not pay the money back to my account. Because this amount was deducted by SBI ATM, the machine was not working properly on above day. Appropriate steps should be taken against this. The above ATM machine is under SBBJ COLLECTRATE BRANCH, BHARATPUR. The staff of both bank bank reacting very rudely, nobody is taking this matter seriously. I really need help to get my money back.

I am (seema pattnaik A/C no.[protected], icici/kharvel nagar/bbsr, ) here by stating my problem that on 4th April 2010 i went to SBI ATM booth at KIIT to draw Rs.5000.Due to machine fault i did not take any money and even i did receive the slip of machine decline but i just throw it out.Then again i have done another transaction and i get the right amount of money i.e Rs.5000.But on the mini statement i came to know that the previouc Rs.5000 has been deducted from my account.Then i complained at ICICI bank on 8th april.But on 20th april i came to know that the SBI people said,i have deducted twice though it is false.On the same night i again released my mini statemenent from ICICI ATM and it shows that i transacted twice.

Dear sir,
I withdrew an amount of Rs. 20, 000/- from SBI ATM, Silpukhuri, Guwahati on 17.04.2010 at 11:27 hr. I tried to withdraw an additional amount of Rs. 20, 000/ on the same day after an hour, as my mother was admitted at ICU, Nemcare Hospital. But the machine failed to deliver the amount even after trying for 7/8 times. Last the machine showed that maximun limit is reached. I was surprised as maximum Lt. for a day is 40, 000/- and i withdrew Rs. 20, 000/- only. On making balance enquiry to my utter surprise I found that 40, 000/- had been debitted from my account, whereas i withdrew only Rs. 20, 000/- I immediately lodged complaint to Rangiya Branch (Assam), where I have my saving actt . More than one month gone. Neither ATM authority Nor Bank Authority could do anything positive so that i may get back the lost amount. Whenever i meet or talk to ATM authority of Rangiya their explanation seems to be fruitles. Finding no other alternative i am posting complint here so that some knowledgable authority may take least effort so that lost money may be recovered, the error being committed by machine, and i am let to suffer. It will be not out of place to let u know that in the mean time my mother had expired and that Rs. 20, 000/- could not be utilized for her last treatment
So Please do some thing so that i can have a little consolation by recovering that lost 20, 000/-

I have ATM Card bearing machine No[protected] of state bank of India Mashila branch situated Andul, Howrah. On 03 Feb 2011, I withdrawal of Rs.15, 000/-vide ATM Token No TXN 9538 on same day. Due some mechanism fault/Net problem of this ATM machine, I got Rs 9500/- out of Rs 15000/-. Immediately I informed to my nearest SBI Branch (SBI-Mashila, Code No 8556). But one and half month past, the balance amount Rs 5500/- not yet been received till date.

Sir, it is intimated that I have logged complained all the necessary SBI Branches but no action has been taken till date to credit the amt. I have also written complain to SBI Mashila, Code No 8556 (which I have saving account) but they told me that we can, t do anything regarding this matter, you may liaise with SBI Howrah (main branch)to inform the above facts. Dye to illness, I telephonically discussed with ATM Manager of SBI Howrah (Main Branch) but they have also refused to credit the amount. Therefore, you are requested to please advised me what to do & how to get my money.

. Kindly credit Rs. 5500/- soon as possible. I am really suffering some financial hardship due to the above facts.

I am a SBI ATM cardholder having saving account no-[protected]. On 03/03/12 i used to icici ATM machine to withdraw my cash rs 2000/- around 18:40 hr.but i couldn't get cash and rs2000/- bcoze of net slow Again i used to SBI ATM machime to withraw my cash Rs2000/- But again the same problem occered.Then I Withraw my cash 2000/- next day ie on 4th March'12 around 13:40hr from PNB ATM and collected the money with the receipt of balace 16462.24/-.But when I checked my balance enquiry on 05/03/12 in net (onlinesbi.com)the balance shows only 14462.24./-The prior two times attemptions of ATM withrawal of Rs 2000/- shows in debit columb and also one time reverse ATM wdl shows in credit columb . Another reverse ATM WDL not showing in credit columb. Henceforth the balance shows 14462.24 instead of 16462.24/-
So pls enquiry the matter and arrange to return the money at the earliest.

I am B.Lakshmi Rajyam, there is a problem during my ATM money transaction at Guntur. I have not received money during transaction but Rs.20000/ was debited from my account.Full details are given below.
On 28 June 2012, I need to withdraw amount of Rs20000 so myself and my husband went to the ATM at Jinna-tower center-GUNTUR and there are two ATM s in that room. Then we went to one ATM (S10O[protected] and checked for mini statement (Txn No: 9409). After that he punched for Rs.20000, then no amount, no slip has come from this ATM. Then we went to next ATM (S10A[protected] in that same room and punched for Rs.20000. Here also no amount and no slip has come and one lady (who did transaction before us) told me that in this particular ATM, at a time Rs.20000 will not come so you try for Rs.10000 or 15000 in single transaction. Then my husband punched for Rs.10000 then there is a comment on display that this much amount is not there in my account and no slip came this time also. we kept on tried for 2 more times and same display came. I checked during my next person transaction and he punched some amount and got the same, no excess amount has come to him. After 5min there is power cut inside ATM room. We were standing there only, then one SBI official came to ATM with empty hands and went inside ATM room. Security person has closed the shutter asking all o[censored]s to come out. This that official was there inside for 10min and came out with free hands (during this time there is no power in ATM room). We told him about our problem, then he replied that if your amount is debited mistakenly then it will be credited in one hour time and he suggested to go and check our balance at other ATM where power is available and give a complaint at Nagaram palem SBI Branch GUNTUR. Then based on the ATM security person & official suggestion I went to some other center ATM and checked for balance and found that Rs.20000 is debited from my Account. After that complained at GUNTUR Nagaram palem branch & REPUDI bank(home branch) also. After 10days we met Guntur –Nagaram palem branch people and they said that no error code is seen in transaction, so 20000/- was withdrawn from ATM and we are closing the complaint. But I have not received any amount &slip from ATM. Please help me.
Later Repudi branch manager also told that reply has come and no error in transaction and amount was withdrawn from ATM (second ATM ID: S10A[protected] in that same room with transaction No.1870, (here only I was told after my first unsuccessful transaction that more than Rs.15000 will not come in this ATM. Then as explained above I tried two times for Rs10000 but display came saying try for less amount)). It is impossible as we are waiting at that ATM for around 15min after transaction and no malpractice has happened. I am using the Debit cards from long period, never happened this kind of problem. I have not withdrawn amount from ATM IDs. S10A[protected] or S10O[protected] available in that same room. But I have been given a reply from SBI home branch REPUDI that amount is withdrawn. Kindly help me in this regard.
There are two evidence I have are, 1. One lady who took money before my transaction in ATM (S10A[protected] is also present and witnessed my unsuccessful transactions (I don’t know that lady, you may trace her and enquire).
2. You may confirm through the CC camera footage available in that ATM.
I sincerely request you to check the CC camera footage in ATM ID: S10A[protected] on 28th June-2012 around 12.20Hrs in our presence. If it is proved that I am wrong, then I am ready to pay for the expenses spent for study of CC camera footage. We don’t know how that ATM software works and how that error code comes but my case is beyond any doubt. So kindly help me in this regard and do justice to me and credit my amount as early as possible. Kindly take necessary action to get back my amount sir.

I got a SBI credit card in 2006 purely for use in emergency. I was told that there won't be any annual fees. I never used the card even once leave alone defaulting payments.
But now I am getting calls saying I have to pay Rs.4300, or they will get a arrest warrant against me.

Any suggestions let me know. They are not ready give the information on what are those charges
give. I am contacting a lawyer for this.

The same error occured for me too.
I withdrew Rs 600/- from ATM. But when I checked account in Internet banking a week later found out Rs 600/- was deducted twice.
