On[protected] at 1120 hrs, the SBI Bank Cashier who was on duty at the cash issuing counter has misbehaved with me in a rude and impolite manner and when requested to give 2000 rupee denomination notes, he said he will not give and do what ever you want and says he has his own reasons for explanantion. He bluently denied my request saying we only issue 2000 rupee notes to IGs and not to other customers or gneral public.
The cashier was repeatedly saying dont argue, for which I will say it was a concern and grivance and how can he say it an argument, i also advice him to see the meaning of argument in dictionary if he doest know that.
I would like to question the Bank authorities that when a customer asks for two thousand rupee denomination notes, what is the duty of a bank employee, should he give or not give. This is the second time iam complaining about this cashier to the bank authorities. Employees like them are spoiling the image of State Bank of India.
Please inform me about the rule position whether banks to give denomination or not.
i am customer of this bank since 20years and i would like to close all my relationship with State Bank of india if such practice is followed by your employees which is not acceptable.
with deep reggret and concer i am raising this issue to the higher authorities.
