Respected Sir/Madam,

Subject: Leakage of my personal/account details to third party and fraudulent activity

I am Amrita Gupta, an account holder in your Bhelupura Branch, Varanasi and my Account No. is [protected]. I am having saving bank account along with several FDRs with your SBI Bank, Bhelupura Branch (Branch Code: 01773). On 29.05.2017 at 5:15 p.m. I got call from [protected] (Copy of screen shot duly attached) on my registered mobile number i.e., [protected]. He told me on call that he was from SBI ATM Call Centre and due to new amendment in RBI Policy he wants to confirm my ADHAR Number and while on call he was telling me my balance in my account by which he was trying to make me assure that he was from SBI Authorized Centre. He was sending me several messages by [protected] on my registered mobile number in which it was written that “ATM service Centre Head Branch of Mumbai Belapr MG Road No. 993 float 69 ATM Card toady block late fine charge Debit Rs. 2572. B.P.C. Code 301197. Call Now [protected]. Amit Kumar Sharma. Thank You.” (Copy of screen shot duly attached) and then he said that due to my KYC non-updation my ATM card and account got blocked and for unblocking the card I need to confirm my ADHAR number, which I confirmed. And then I received an OTP on my registered mobile number for ‘Online Purchase’ of Rs. 19991.00 at AIRTELMONEY. The caller was asking me to give OTP and I denied. After that he was calling me several times. After that I made a call on your TOLL Free number [protected] through I blocked my Debit Card and registered a complaint for the fraudulent activity happening with me from that number.

Now after all this things happened yesterday, again on 30.05.2017 at 9:52 A.M. that two messages came on my mobile number that “Dear customer, your txn at ATM SAANF00610 declined as your card is inactive/blocked. Please contact your brach for further details” (Copy of screen shot duly attached). I guess someone is still chasing my account and want to do the fraudulent activity. As I have heavy amount in your SBI Branch I want to just know that how the third person able to:

1. How the person able to know that I am customer of SBI Bhelupur Branch with my full name
2. How the person able to know my registered mobile number with your Bank
3. How that person knows the balance of my account balance.
4. How he could able to generate OTP for online purchase
5. How it could be possible that I got test “our txn at ATM SAANF00610 declined as your card is inactive/blocked” as I have blocked my card and the Debit Card was with me.

Under these circumstances I was bit scared and felt unsafe and I don’t know how much my money is safe in your Bank/Branch as it may be possible that the third person may knows/leak the details of your customers in your Bank/Branch. Please help me by getting all security checks at your Bank/Branch or it may be possible that I will shift my account to other Bank due to lack of security/privacy and high risk of fraudulent. Please urgently look into the matter. I will be appreciating your prompt action toward my grievances.

    On 30-may-2017 morning between 9.13am to 9.25am when i was driving to office numerous sms started to flood my mobile for giving details of numerous small and big transactions being carried out on my credit card by some "google *octro inc" and "google *services". I immediately got a call from sbi credit card deptt. [protected] asking me about suspicious transactions being done using my card details (Total 31, 000/- rupees approx.) and they blocked the card on my confirmation and advised me to lodge a formal complaint with customer care. The customer care said i would be required to pay full amount and they will conduct an enquiry which will take somewhere between 45 to 120 days and upon their investigation the matter would decided. I searched the net and found that numerous card frauds and crimes have been done using this name/client previously but still no action has been taken to automatic block transaction from such accounts. Such illegal transactions need not be processed at all. Why make innocent and good/loyal customers pay/suffer for no fault of their's. The banks should not insist on payment of such disputed amount till investigations are over. For your information and necessary action please. Sanjiv.

      I withdrawal 9000 rs.in atm of punjab national bank, but atm didn't give money back and through my bank account the rs. Is cut down of rs. 9000. Firstly i go to atm of sbi but sbi atm have not any cash. So i go to near punjab national bank atm and through atm i withdrawing 9000 rs. On the date of 29/5/2017 but it does not give money and it cut down my money through my bank account. Then i go to branch where my bank account is located where i complainthe bank employee then she say that your money atomatically come in your bank account within 24 hours but my money didn't come back within 24 hours. I did not receive my money yet. So please solve my problem...

            Stop off auto renewal

            I have opted for a health insurance policy from sbi general insurance on 29/05/2015. Though i did not choose the option of auto renewal, yet they deducted the premium of rs.2500 on next year i. E., june 2016.
            Several times i have requested them to stop the auto renewal of my health insurance policy, but unfortunately they did not respond to my request.

            I had a saving bank account in SBI at IIS, Bangalore branch bearing an account number [protected], to which my SBI account at Dwarkanager branch in Visakhapatnam is linked under the same ID.

            I sent a letter to the Bank requesting them to close my account at SBI Bangalore along with the cheque book and the debit card by speed post April 28th..
            I never got an acknowledgement from the bank regarding my request. Out pf nowhere, I got a message informing me that Rs 575/- has been deducted as closing charges.First of all I don't understand why Rs 575/ is deducted as closing charges.Secondly, even the balance amount after deducting Rs 575/-from Rs 5000/- is not been refunded.The balance should have been transferred to my linked account easily. When I called the customer care, they said they could not help me with this(what's the point of a customer care). I then sent repeated emails to the branch email id to which I never got any reply. I wonder how come the biggest bank of our country is not reacting even for a simple and genuine request. I kindly request you to look into the matter at the earliest.

              I had withdrawen 15000 from sbi atm, prtc, bangalore on 20/05/2017, but the machine did not dispense money and the amount was deducted from the account.
              I have raised a complaint on sbi with complaint number-[protected].
              It is still not solved.
              I went to the bank as soon as the incident occured but the bank said you have raise an online complaint using the number. But now when i ask the branch office they are saying that wouldnt solve you have to give a written complaint.
              No of days for the issue to be solved were 7 days, even after 8days its still not being solved.

                I am nibruti having a central sbi card. I made this card at central mall, j p nagar, bangalore. I received this card sometime last month. On 25th may, 2017 i got a call from sbi credit card department around 1pm. The lady said she is calling for the verification of a reward card which comes along with the central credit card. I did not provide any details about my card number, dob, name or cvv, rather the lady from her side confirmed my credit card number and expiry date. We spoke for sometime for all details about the reward card benefits and if any hidden charges are there for this. Then the lady passed the call to her manager for final verification. Then in few minutes i got message twice saying twice money has been deducted (10, 000+9990) from my credit card. Then immediately i called sbi customer care checking why money got deducted from my card. They told it was a fraud call and immediately they blocked my card. I asked how come they have sensitive information of my card. They din't have any answer. They said they cannot do anything about the transaction and i have to lodge a fir at police station. I did the same within 1 hour. The fir was lodged. As i dint share any of my information, bank is the only place all mt info was available so this will be highly unfair if the bank doesn't take care of this.
                Rs.19, 990/ is really big amount for this. Until this is resolved, i will not pay for this amount.

                I have applied for pension payment certicate for the FY2016-17 on[protected].My pension pament order no .is 2627671.Sbi adb muktsar is my pension paying branch .Twenty days have passed but no response has come till date
                I have submitted number of times request online
                /at bank branch number of times. The branch AC Guards Hyderabad has not initiated nor replied to our request. It seems the SBI has not at all interested in customer care. The branch Manager never gave response for the problems and very short tempered and looses control.

                  State Bank Of India [SBI] — Charge dispute file refund never processed

                  Dear sir

                  A refund of 180 rupees was successfully processed on 16 may to my account by amazon. This amount should have been credited to my SBI account by now, but i have not received the refund till now.

                  I have called the state bank of india customer service and also emailed the state bank of india main branch all the details many times including the unique transaction reference number but nobody has replied or resolved the problem. No action is being taken

                  I have confirmed with amazon and they have successfully processed the refund

                        I am jointly with my two elder brothers holding three home loan accounts with sbi since last 5 years.

                        I logged a request to switch my all loans to mclr in feb'2017. Sbi branch "udaipuur city (Rajasthan) (07889)" people are so pathetic that they even don't bother to listen their customers. Request was somehow taken by mr. Hemant and got to know later that he got transferred. A new person named mr. Mukesh took a fresh request but he was also transferred after somedays. Again a new request was logged to new person mr. Anand along with new branch manager mr. Mahesh. Both confirmed that they are working on priority on this task and they gave us assurance that our loans will be switched with following rates:

                        [protected] (Construction) to 8.65 %
                        [protected] (Top-up) to 8.75%

                        Its been more than 3 months since we started the process but somehow after multiple chasers/follow-up in branch and racpc offices, switch over fees 18750/- was deducted on 26th may but nightmare came when i saw new rates for all three loans

                        [protected] (Land purchase) is not switched to 8.65% that means it remained on 9.35%.
                        [protected] (Construction) is switched to 8.65% correctly.
                        [protected] (Top-up) is switched to 9.3% instead of 8.75%.

                        This is the worst experience with sbi and people is sbi think that they are working in a govt bank so nobody can take action against them. They still work in old working style. They intentionally delay the cases.

                        I would urge to relevant authorities to take strict action against all culprits so that no other customer should suffer like this.

With due respect it is submitted that i, self hav/clk mohan panika and my wife mrs bonti panika had opened a joint sbi saving account at raiwala branch during my posting there in the year 2011-12. I had applied for transfer of account from sbi raiwala branch (Br code-14149), teh-rishikesh, dist-dehradun (Uk) to my home town branch sbi borholla (Br code-4573) dist-jorhat (Assam) due to posting to other place.
                          2. Account of the same had been transferred to my home branch, but cif no of the account has not been transferred. So i, could not be operate of my account properly in the absence of cif no.

                            Rough behavior of branch staff made me vex and results to closure of my savings account.
                            I am fully unhappy with the services of the branch staff.

                            I requested to close my account on 26/05/2017 to branch staff, who are furious on me.
                            They had chance to show their power and unnecessarily deducted the account closer charges of 575 rupees.

                            As per information account closer charges have to collect for less than one year period of accounts, but my account is seven and of years old. pls take action

                                Hi Team,

                                My name is Debendro having a SBI Credit card. I got a call from SBI credit card department on 26th May around 1 pm to 2 pm and told me that my cashback amount will be credited soon to my account for that they are calling for the verification. I did not provide any details about my credit card but the caller they already have my sensitive details about my credit card number, my name and DOB. After that the lady representative told me that this call will be transfer to the manager for final verification and she transfer the call. We spoke about some time and said thank you and cut the call. After 30 minute I got another call from SBI again saying that there was a fraud transaction from my Credit card I was shock when I hear that news so I ask her to transfer the call to the manager of SBI. She transfer the call and explain about the previous call and everything. I even ask him how did they have all the sensitive information about my credit card but the manager did not answer that question and I ask the manager to rise a complaint about this fraud transaction and he informed me that the case has already been rise and my credit card has been blocked from their side. It seems like the fraud call was actually from SBI agents. On 27th morning I call SBI Customer Care again and one lady pick up the call her name is Ghousia and I told her to check my issue but she replied me saying that there was no complaint rise from my side regarding the issue and she also told me that the call that I made on 26th May was dropped from the customer side but it is not true at all I spoke with the bank manager about half and hour explain everything about the issue, he even assure me that the amount which is debited from my account will be refunded back but how come the call was dispose as dropped from the customer side. It seems like the fraud call was made from SBI only and they deduct the amount from their end. I request you to check this issue in high priority because the agent from SBI they were lying about everything and they deduct the amount from my card. I have already filled FIR to the Viveknager Police station about this fraud transaction. I also inform SBI that since the fraud transaction was done from SBI employee so I am not going to pay any amount regarding my credit card bill till the I receive my money that has been debited from my account.

                                    I applied multi city cheque book for AC no [protected] months back. I am a bonafide customer of SBI for the past 7 years and has a continuous transactiins or regular transaction for the past many years.Money has been deducted from my account against issuance of cheque book.But i havent receive till date. My address is given as Hno 29/Hmar veng, opposite partnership mission officer.near EFCI meetei church churachandpur Manipur.

                                      My account is not mapped with username. Every time it shows no account for this username. I thought it was hidden but in unhide option their is no account. What should i do? My account no [protected]. I activated net banking using kit provided by branch itself. After logging in to personal banking of sbi i can't see my account there. It shows no account is mapped for this username. This is disgusting. There is no any hidden account as said earlier. I want to use netbanking facilities. Please help me out to overcome this problem.
