I am from sonarpur, kolkata. I want to open a new account in state bank of india. There is a branch of sbi here. Branch code is 17565 (Ghasiara branch). The branch manager's name is swatilekha ghosh. I have visited 5 times at this branch to open a new account. But they continuously misbehave with me. Even they didn't co-operate with me. Now, during 6th time visit (30th dec, 2016), they take my account opening form and the manager has been verified my form. After verification, they told me to give the form at counter number 3. But the staff of counter number 3 was not there. Then a staff of that branch told me that the person has gone for his/her lunch. The time was 1:50pm. It was not the time to take the lunch. Because the tiffin hour is 2-2:30pm. Anyways, i have waited till the end of tiffin hour. Even after 15mins of tiffin hour, the staff has not come. Then i asked a staff why that staff has not come yet. But he didn't reply. Suddenly i have seen that the staff of counter number 3 is coming with the manager and she has gone straight to the room of the manager. She was not doing any work. But i still have waited for more times. Atlast when the time was 3:15pm, i became so angry. Then i asked a staff where the staff is. Then he told me that the staff is absent. But i have seen that the staff has sitted at the manager's room. But the staff was telling me continuously lie. He just took my application form and told me that today is not possible to open the account. I was really astonished. The didn't open my account. When i asked them why today is impossible to open a new account, they completely misbehaved with me and told me to go out. I don't know what to do right now. I request to the higher authority to solve my problem and take the proper step against them.
