[Resolved] Stayzilla — Non-Refund against cancellation | |||
I had done my hotel bookings for kerala trip through Stayzilla, the order id is[protected][protected] for Aranyaka resorts in Munnar. Due to some unfortunate reasons I had to cancel my bookings. The cancellation request was placed through stayzilla website on 12th January'2015, 8 days ahead of hotel Check-in date: 20/01/2015. Then there were several telephonic conversations for request of refund after cancellation of booking but the response was neither concrete nor the refund was processed. Although the cancellation policy is clearly mentioned in Stayzilla's website that; "Refunds :All refunds will be sent back from our side within 3 working days. THE AMOUNT WILL BE SENT FROM OUR ACCOUNT WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS AND WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE TIME IT TAKES FOR YOU TO RECEIVE IT, AS IT IS UPTO YOUR BANK TO PROCESS THE REFUND". After several follow ups of almost 12 days their response is that only 50% of the amount would be refunded to us.This is absolutely harassment as even the hotel policy says full amount would be refunded if cancelled 48hrs before check-in date and we had raised cancellation request through Stayzilla 8 days prior to check-in date.
